On a recent episode of Strong Heart, gagstar Jung Juri danced to SNSD's Hoot with Sooyoung and Yuri.

After performing, she took 2 toy arrows and shot her arrow to Super Junior's Donghae. After receving the arrow, Donghae immediately throws the arrow away.

Jung Juri then proceeds to Choi Jin Hyuk and shot her arrow to him. Jinhyuk threw the arrow away too.

Jung Juri goes to Moon Heejun but instead of shooting her arrow, she stabs herself with the arrow causing everyone in the studio to laugh.

Check out this hilarious scene here!

FT Island and CNBLUE’s agency, FNC Music launched their own brand for bags. The brand, called “Cemula” comes from the words ‘celebrity’ and ‘formula’ dubbed to mean “the official celebrity”. The logo for the brand is a modified ‘power button’ to symbolize it as a trend setter.

FNC Music, collaborated with Margaritte in the process of planning and producing the high-quality star brand, “Cemula” that targeted teens in 10-20 years of age.

The bags are specifically designed for the target group aged similar to FT Island and CNBLUE members.

The rather different external design of the bag reflects the brand logo (referring to the unique-shaped white and red one, I think) and have compartments for users to put their smartphones, notebooks, water bottles et cetera.

The “Cemula” bag packs are design for school and college students. In the future various designs such as messenger bag, shopping bag, casual bag will be produced to target women and others.

Product details can be found here!

This is the simplified translation of the news. Basically the article was promoting the bag. Am thinking of getting one for the new school year! Now, if only there’s a photo of Jonghyun with the bag.. LOL ~ fizzy

SHINee’s Onew (center) made an impressive debut with the Korean adaptation of “Rock of Ages.”

SHINee’s Onew and SS501’s Kim Hyung-joon have been the most recent additions to the list of boy band members switching gears to musicals, joining contemporaries like former TVXQ member Xiah and Tae-yeon of Girls Generation.

Onew’s fall debut with the Korean adaptation of “Rock of Ages” impressed both theater critics and audiences alike with some even saying the singer-turned-musical actor one-upped veteran Korean Wave star Ahn Jae-wook who switched off with the crooner in the lead role throughout its month-long engagement.

In stark contrast, Kim’s gig as a musical actor kicked off to a stuttering start last week with the original production “Caffeine” at the Baekam Art Hall in southern Seoul.

His debut was met with a lukewarm response, many saying the fledgling actor had looked awkward and even nervous during key scenes which required him to be confident.

This kind of “shoot first, ask questions later” approach doesn’t seem to faze most musical production houses though as the casting of a boy band or girl band member alone is enough to generate huge interest from the public.

Because the industry has been steadfastly in decline due to an oversaturated market, earning the quick buck has become what matters most.

One of the few successful cases has without a doubt been Xiah’s debut.

Xiah, a former member with hugely popular boy band TVXQ, made a debut with “Mozart” earlier in January which garnered the 23-year-old a slew of acting honors and critical acclaim.

Meanwhile, those who crashed and burned at the court of public opinion were largely criticized for their lack of commitment that was reflected in their stilted performances.
Choi Sung-hee, or Bada as most of her fans know her from her heyday with all-girl band S.E.S., is a veteran of the musical scene who has voiced her frank opinion on the veritable gold rush into the theater arts by her younger contemporaries.

Currently starring in the musical “Broadway 42nd Street,” the production’s theater troupe opened its doors to the press earlier in September where Choi took time off from the rigorous pre-show rehearsals at the KEPCO Hanjeon Art Center in Seoul to field questions about her musical ― but most of all about the rising trend of K-pop idols entering the scene.

The production, having wrapped its run in the capital city, is slated to move on to Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, starting Dec. 3.

“You have to be absolutely sure that this is what you want to do before you go any further,” she was quoted as saying.

“You need to have an actor’s mindset and a responsibility to the craft of acting. Acting in a musical requires you to give yourself and open yourself to your cast mates and if you’re not prepared to do that, the audience won’t be engaged in your performance and that type of dedication isn’t something the head of a production company can give you.”

Choi is considered one of the first K-pop singers to make way onto the musical stage, debuting in 2003 with “Peppermint.”

Since then, she has starred in such hit stage musicals as “200 Pounds Beauty,” cementing her status as one of the local performing and dramatic arts scene’s marquee names.

Echoing her sentiment is veteran actor Jo Jae-hyun (“Bad Guy,” “Address Unknown”) who says singers attempting to successfully cross over to acting must be fully committed.

“For anyone looking to break into theater arts, they have to realize the amount of preparation and time it takes to acclimate to performing on stage because stage acting is an entirely different beast to film or television,” he told The Korea Herald.

“Acting for the stage is one of the most difficult crafts ― even for traditional actors ― and for singers to jump into the fray like that is commendable but you really have to be fully committed because otherwise you’re going to learn the hard way that it isn’t something you just pick up on a whim or by suggestions from your management company.”

All the fans' attentions are directed to BIGBANG's unit group that will be releasing their new album after a long time.

The 5-member idol group BIGBANG under the label YG Entertainment has released an announcement in YG Blog on last 29th November regarding their new album that is gonna be released on February 2nd 2011. It has been 2 years and three months after BIGBANG released their 2nd album with the title song 'Sunset Gow' on last November 2008.

This news is enough to draw BIGBANG's fans attention. And now YG giving out the news that BIGBANG's Leader G-Dragon and the big hyung TOP will be releasing their album on December 24th as a duet. And they even revealed that maknae Seungri will be releasing a digital single on January 3rd 2011.

Then, right after all of the members' unit activities finished BIGBANG will take place for their comeback.

On 30th November, YG's CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, explained about the three reasons of the boys' comeback through an exclusive via-phone interview with Starnews.

The first is, they have decided to put all of the members' musics into BIGBANG's new album.

Yang Hyun Suk said, "as much as Bigbang haven't released a domestic album in a long time, in this new album they will include a solo song for each member--no duet song--and it will contain all five members' music colors" and then he emphasized, "this is a present for all of Bigbang's fans that have been waiting for them until now." Then he said, "Bigbang hasn't comeback in such a long time and now they have put their best efforts to make this album and ready to come back" and said, "it will be great to anticipate them," with confidence.

The second reason is, after they decided to put all bigbang member's colors into the album, the songs to start the album with are beyond expectation; there were a lot of songs that too good to put away. And so those songs were made into G-Dragon and TOP's album, and Seungri's solo single.

Yang Hyun Suk said, "Of course GD and TOP's album and Seungri's solo single was originally made with the thoughts of Bigbang's album" and then he revealed, "It has been decided that in Bigbang's album there are only Bigbang's songs, and it's such a pity to let the other songs gone wasted when it can be a good gift for the fans. And so we decided to released G-Dragon and TOP's album on December and Seungri's solo song on January." In addition, "In GD and TOP's case, because they have composed a lot of songs, they only have to add in several songs and release the album."

The last reason is to make Bigbang's national activities longer.

He also said that, "Because GD and TOP's duet songs are originally songs for Bigbang, so their album release can be considered as Bigbang's national activity's practical opening." and, "with this, Bigbang's national activities can last longer, and of course this is for the fans that have been showing their interest towards Bigbang although they're having such a long vacuum time," and he emphasized, "Bigbang will give you a great time and will be active for the next one year."

[Omitted the part not talking about 2PM in the first picture]

The regime of "BEAST Idol" , 2PM.

In their debut song of "10 Out of 10" and "Again and Again", their gorgeous hip hop costumes are incorporated with aerobics.

The group's emphasis is a youthful boy dance group.

With their handsome features together with their fast, accurate and precise dance steps, they sucessfully rise to the top.

The best is always reserved for the last. These young men have equipped themselves with well-trained muscles long ago. Just like this.. and stripped to fame.

The phrase "beastly idol", which is used to describe men with a well built physique became popularized has soon became a distinctive trademark of 2PM.

Entering into their 2nd year in showbiz, these beastly men have fully evolved. Their popularity rise rapidly as fans got "Heartbeat" with their smoky makeup which resembles like zombies during their previous album promotions.
They made a comeback previously, and changed their style to glamorous eye makeup together with a devillish "terminator" robot dance.

The common point is... being manly, being tough, and being beast!

Beastly Men Questionaire
[Exclusive e-mail interview from Korea]

Q : 2PM are being dubbed as the top "beast idol group" in the Kpop Industry. What's your thoughts on that?
A : "Beast idol" is the nickname that our fans gave to us. We're happy that our fans enjoyed our performance, and also gave us a lot of support and positive feedback.

Q: Who's the "beast" icon of 2PM?
A: Of course it's... Taecyeon! He gives others the impression of being manly, and also resembles like a beast the most.
When he raps, he always gives out a strong masculine charisma.

Q: In the present Kpop industry, who do you think regard as your competitor for "beast idol"?
A : Haha, we think that it would probably be 2AM, because all of them are have well-trained muscles! Just kidding..
Actually all of us have been exercising in the gym regularly, and our well-trained "beastly" physique is our fruit of labour which became a hot topic among everyone. However, this is just part of the reason and we never thought of competing with anyone.

Q: If there's any guys out there who want to be as buffed as you guys, what advice would you all give them?
A: Err... that is you must go to the gym to exercise regularly, and continue training! When we first started to exercise in gym, we became cautious of our diet and only ate potato and chicken breast meat.
Such measures are effective in weight control. Although we tend to eat freely on what we eat now, we still continue to exercise regularly in gym.

The many sides of 2PM

[The leading group in Asia]
In June this year, they became the special guests of their seniors,Wonder Girls in "Wonder World US Tour". They participated in a Hallyu concert in Taiwan in August. Their plan in 2011 is to venture into Japan, to officially launch a Japanese album ; and their newly launched Korean MV Premium DVD "Hottest" in Japan have garnered a first place in "Oricon" chart within the first week! Fantastic results!

[Entertainers]
Other than having beastly physiques and explosive dance steps, the 6 of them also continues to venture themselves in all areas. Some of the members focus on attending Korean variety shows, and some of them chose to act in dramas.
Without doubt, all members have received positive responses and feedbacks, and their popularity continues to rise.

[Omitted the part on the right which basically giving a description of Nichkhun in "We Got Married", Taecyeon in "Cinderella's Story" and 2PM in "Wild Bunny" and participation in the Kkap version of "Abracadabra".
