“England’s influential media The Guardian has introduced Hyuna’s title track, ‘Ice Cream’ and mentioned that she could be following the footsteps of PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’.

Guardian has published an article stating “If anyone could follow Psy’s success it would be 4Minute’s very own Hyuna”. It further explained that Hyuna who attracted attention with her last single,’Bubble Pop’,has made a comeback with ‘Ice Cream’.

Previously, ‘Ice Cream’ MV was introduced on America’s prestigious music site ‘Billboard’ as ‘Must Watch MV’. Another America online portal ‘Examiner‘ commented, “Before ‘Gangnam Style’, Hyuna has become a star through Bubble Pop’. In ‘Ice Cream’ MV, Hyuna is filled with sexy as well as sweet charms”

In Peru, the attention received by ‘Ice Cream’ was high too. Peru’s biggest radio network and famous radio station in Poland, too, has expressed that, “Including England and America, various media from South America and Europe are expressing their anticipation for Hyuna’s promotions this time round.”

Shinhwa’s Lee Minwoo will resume his solo career and return as the solo artist ‘M’. Signaling his return, he will kick off his solo concert this Christmas.

Lee Minwoo’s agency announced that the singer will hold a two-day concert titled ‘M Lee Min Woo Christmas Live Concert’ on December 23 and 24 at Seoul’s Yonsei University. This will mark his first solo stage in three years since his ‘M’s Suite Room’ concert back in 2010.

Ticket reservation for Lee Minwoo’s concert will begin on November 2.

Actress Park Shin Hye is pairing up with actor Yoon Si Yoon in tvN’s new romantic comedy drama.

On October 31, it has been reported that the two stars have been cast as main characters in the upcoming Monday-Tuesday series, ‘My Flower Boy Neighbor’. Yoon Si Yoon will play the role of Enrique Keum and Park Shin Hye plays the role of Go Dok Mi.

‘My Flower Boy Neighbor’ will be the third installation of tvN’s flower boy series following ‘Flower Boy Ramen Shop’ and ‘Shut Up: Flower Boy Band’. The new series is based on the webtoon titled ‘I Watch Him Every Day’, and will be a 16-episode romantic comedy drama.

Directed by Jung Jung Hwa, who made her directorial debut in the hit film ‘Sweet Lies’, the new series goes around contemporary Rapunzel Go Dok Mi [played by Park], who locks up herself in her comfort zone with personal scars.

Girl’s Day member Sojin has captured the attention of her fans with her small waist.

On October 30, the group’s manager updated Girl’s Day’s official Twitter page with a photo and wrote, “So many of you wondered about Sojin’s waist size… it’s 22 inches… Isn’t she so slim?”

Sojin responded by tweeting, “Hello. This is Girl’s Day’s Park Ant :) Kekeke.”

In the photo taken from Girl’s Day’s latest single “Don’t Forget Me”, Sojin is posing in a half-cut outfit that highlights her waist line. Epik High will be holding fan signing event to celebrate the release of their 7th album ‘99’!

YG Entertainment announced that Epik High requested the event, which will take place at Youngdeungpo Time Square on November 2, to thank the fans who have waited for the group’s comeback.

This will mark the group’s first fan sign event in three years after the release of the special album, ‘Epilogue’ in year 2010. Participants of this event will be determined by a lottery.

Meanwhile, Epik High is currently busy promoting their two title songs, “Don’t Hate Me” and “Up.”

Lee Si Uhn, who is known for his role on the hit drama ‘Reply 1997’, has been cast as the main character for girl group Dal Shabet’s comeback music video.

The actor and Dal Shabet members participated in the filming for the music video at a set located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province on October 30th. Lee Si Uhn led an enjoyable atmosphere with his bright character, and showed a great teamwork with the girls.

Lee Si Uhn also displayed impressive comic acting while casting as a guy who gets loved by the Dal Shabet members and showed some impressive adlibs as well.

Dal Shabet will release its new album in mid-November.

Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi will be making his comeback as a singer next month.

On October 31, an official of Lee Seung Gi’s agency announced that the singer would return in late November with a new mini album. This will mark his first release since his 5th album ‘Tonight’ in October 2011.

The new mini album will be jointly produced by Lee Seung Gi and the Epitone Project. Having loved Epitone Project’s music, Lee Seung Gi asked the producer himself to work with him on the upcoming mini-album.

The mini album will also include a self-composed song by Lee Seung Gi. Despite his busy schedule, singer-actor has written song for his upcoming project.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi will hold his ‘Lee Seung Gi’s Hope Concert’ on December 1 and 2 at the Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul’s Olympic Park.

On October 29, Kim Won Jun tweeted, “The 2 MCs of The 18th Korea Musical Awards”, and attached a photo of himself and Suzy.

On 30th October, at Beyond Museum, Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 2PM and MissA appeared as ambassadors at the signing event of Korean tourism promotion named “Touch Korea Tour”.


“Touch Korea Tour” is the Korean tourism promotion program with representatives 2PM, MissA. Both groups will participate in recording some videos on the trips to travel around Korea together with foreigners who love Korea.  As planned, the video will be broadcasted on CH5 - Thailand TV and CTV - Taiwan TV. 

The “Touch Korea Tour” video will be posted through Buzz Korea website, majoring in promoting Korean tourism. In the video, 2PM and MissA as Korean idols will participate with foreigners to visit and introduce Korean's nice landscapes to the world.

During this event, the MC is Ricky Kim. Besides, not only 2PM and Miss A but also staff will be in charge of broadcasting in Asian, 200 people around the world such as American, Chinese, Singaporean... may also be included in the program.

After a previous report saying that 2PM’s Chansung was being considered for MBC’s upcoming drama ‘The Secret Lovers’, the idol has now been confirmed to take the lead role for the series.

On October 31, a production company of the series reported that Chansung will play the role of Gong Do Ha, a new agent of the National Intelligence Service. He works with Joo Won and Choi Kang Hee.

Chansung feels confident in portraying his good-looking yet mysterious character. He is told to have been building up his body with taekwondo and kendo for the role.

A production staff commented, “As a representative Hallyu idol star and rookie actor, Chansung is passionate and ambitious. We are quite pleased to have him play the role. Please look forward to his transformation.”

Slated to begin its air on MBC next January, the 20-episode series will feature young secret agents’ love, friendship, conflict and reconciliation at the National Intelligence Service.

Singers NS Yoonji and Jay Park have teamed up for a collaborative single “If You Love Me”.

On October 31, NS Yoonji shared the photos above via her Twitter and wrote, “If you love me,” hinting for her upcoming new single. In the photos, the female soloist is making funny faces for the camera with Jay Park, creating a friendly atmosphere.

Earlier today, a video teaser for “If You Love Me” has been revealed online, showing a silhouette of a lady dancing to the tune of the new upbeat track. A glimpse of NS Yoonji and Jay Park having a recording has been revealed as well.

“If You Love Me” will be included on NS Yoonji’s new single album, which is scheduled for release on November.

After releasing their debut single album ‘Break Out in November’ earlier, rookie girl group E2RE finally unveiled the full music video for title song, “Deep Night Sad Song”.

The first album title “Deep Night Sad Song” is made by Jeon Hae Song, who made the famous song of Secret Garden OST “The Woman” and Lee sung Chul’s “Long day”. The song is a medium ballad and has 14 membered orchestra melodies, while the music video features actors Lee Sun Gyun and Oh Yeon Seo.

E2RE is a four-member girl group comprised with members Silver, Yurim, I.Lin, and Hee Jung. The name stands for the French word “étoile” which means “star”.

Super Junior’s sub unit Super Junior K.R.Y will have their 1st concert in Kobe and Yokohama, Japan in November. It is reported that all the tickets for Yokohama and Kobe's performances were already sold out. To meet audiences' expectation, Super Junior K.R.Y decided to open one more encore performance in January, 2013 in Budokan with 15,000 seats.

Photos of Song Joong Ki, Kim Jong Kook and Lee Kwang Soo sweetly pose together were revealed through a staff's twitter on 29th.

As it was revealed earlier that Song Joong Ki will appear in Kim Jong Kook's new MV, "Men Are All Like That". He impressed the staffs on the filming set by showing no tiredness even though the shooting continued until late night.

Lee Kwang Soo also came to the MV filming set to support Kim Jong Kook and Song Joong Ki, showing their close friendship.

Meanwhile Kim Jong Kook's 7th album will be released on November 1st.

On the October 30th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart’, Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In talked about her mother’s reaction when she saw her R-rated “Bloom” music video.

Ga-In shared, “Our previous MVs had received R-ratings and we didn’t understand the reason why. So for my recent MV, I decided to give them one.”

She continued, “After seeing the ‘Abracadabra’ MV, my mom told me to become bolder. But after showing her the MV for ‘Bloom’, she became speechless and just left the room. She had a shocked expression on her face.”

Singer Alex recently shared his feelings regarding his drunk-driving incident in July.

Alex made a guest appearance on the October 30th episode of MBC’s ‘Good Morning’ and shared, “It’s not something I take lightly and no doubt not something that can be forgiven easily.”

He continued, “After much public criticism I stopped all of my activities. For the past nine years since my debut, I’ve only ever been working constantly, so I never had any time to reflect on myself.”

“I took full responsibility for what had happened and I blame myself. I took a lot of time for self reflection,” the singer added.

After taking the spotlight with her solo debut single “1,2,3,4”, SBS ‘K-Pop Star’ runner up, Lee Ha Yi (Lee Hi) has now released the making-of film of the track’s music video as well as the album cover photoshoot.

Released via the singer’s official Youtube channel, the videos showed the process of making the “1,2,3,4” music video as well as the behind-the-scenes footage from Lee Hi’s album cover photo shoot.

“1,2,3,4” was produced by CHOICE37 (Big Bang’s “Bad Boy” and G-Dragon’s “ONE OF A KIND”) and Lydia Park and written with the help of Masta Wu. The song became an instant hit, topping various online charts.
