JYJ member Kim Jaejoong had a great time on his vacation.

On the 28th of April, C-Jes Entertainment revealed some photos of Kim Jaejoong during his vacation in Japan and garner attention as the photos were taken in a helicopter. Jaejoong also updated fans through LINE and shared his precious memories with Yamashita Tomohisa (widely known as Yamapi) who is an idol and actor in Japan and also Jaejoong's close friend.

In the photo above, Jaejoong and Yamapi look happy as they spent great time together in Japan. Their bright smiles are priceless.

Actor Kim Soo Ro alerted his fans about a shoulder injury.

The actor posted up via Twitter on the 29th, “A shoulder ligament was overstretched so I’m told that I can’t do anything for 4-6 weeks. I’m a little worried when it’ll get better!

The injury was caused by a recent filming for the MBC TV program ‘Real Men’, where he was required to receive real army training with the other cast members. As soon as he hurt himself, he received immediate treatment before finishing the filming of the rest of the episode.


Actor Jang Dong Gun has confirmed his return on the big screen through upcoming film ‘The Crying Man’. He will work with director Lee Jeong Bum, well known from his previous work with Won Bin in ‘The Man from Nowhere’.

A representative from SM C&C stated on April 29th, “Jang Dong Gun has accepted the offer to star in ‘The Crying Man’ which will be directed by Lee Jeong Bum.”

The movie shows love between a killer and a woman. Jang Dong Gun has been picked to play the role of the killer and some action is to be expected in this thriller mixed with romance.

The production company will finalize the cast soon and begin filming in September.


Actor Hyun Bin will be making his comeback on the big screen in his first work since completing military service as a naval officer in December.

Hyun Bin who has participated in many series such as ‘My name is Kim Sam soon’ and ‘Secret Garden’, has been cast in the upcoming history movie titled, ‘The Anger of King’. He will play the charismatic King Jungjo, the 22nd ruler of the Joseon dynasty.

The life of King Jungjo has been played out through numerous dramas and films in the past, but Hyun Bin’s new film will be approaching it from an entirely different angle, by portraying Jeongjo as a strong and authoritative king.

A representative from movie production stated, “As Hyun Bin chose this piece as his first comeback project, and it is a period film, it is expected that he will further expand his acting career in the future.

‘The Anger of King’ is scheduled for release in the first half of 2014.


Ailee and DMTN’s Simon were recently spotted watching a baseball game together.

The two stars were recently spotted together watching a match between the LG and Lotte baseball teams at the Seoul Jamsil Stadium on April 28. Ailee also shared a proof shot on her Twitter and wrote, “I came to watch baseball with oppas~~ Hwang Jae Kyun, fighting!

However, the photo, which showed the two celebrities wearing masks at the event, sparked rumors that they’re dating. Fans began to speculate that there might be something more to their friendship.

The group unveiled the still cuts from the music video on its official Twitter and wrote, “Guess how many members had kiss scenes, and who they are. The answer will be revealed through their new music video, which will be released on May 2nd.”

Proving that “Gangnam Style” was far from a one-hit-wonder, Psy has secured another Guinness World Records title with his follow-up single, “Gentleman”!

According to the Guinness website, Psy’s “Gentleman” music video has set a Guinness World record as the most-watched online video in a single day. The new music video received 38,409,306 views on YouTube within its first 24 hours on April 14th 2013.

Since being released almost two weeks ago, “Gentleman” has racked up more than 248 million views compared with “Gangnam Style,” which now has been played a staggering 1.5 billion times. This is Psy’s second world record, the first being for the most “liked” video on Youtube with “Gangnam Style”.

Singer Ivy threw the ceremonial pitch at a baseball game between LG Twins and Lotte Giants in Seoul on April 28th. Sporting a LG Twins uniform and casual jeans, the singer greeted the numerous fans who attended the game on this day.

Singer Juniel, who recently made a comeback, talked about her ideal type.

On April 27, Minah announced the sad news on her Twitter saying, “We just finished our promotion. Thank you to all of our fans who showed us amazing supports! The next album will come out quickly and we will just take our short break.”

On April 29th, a representative from WS Entertainment announced, “Baek Ji Young and Jung Seok Won will be tying the knot in June 2. They haven’t decided on the location yet.” The date was decided by the couple’s family in a meeting together.

Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won went public with its relationship in 2011, and began to have serious discussions about marriage earlier this year. After the recent rumors of their breakup, they came to open up about the upcoming wedding.


Psy’s American manager, Scooter Braun expressed his confidence that “Gentleman” will become a hit.

On April 26th, MTV revealed an interview video of Scooter Braun, who is directing Psy’s global management. Scooter said, “People love to watch that guy dance. He entertains people and I think ‘Gentleman’ has the same amount of potential as ‘Gangnam Style’.

Nega Network has announced that it will soon introduce a male counterpart of the veteran girl group Brown Eyed Girls called ‘LC9’ (previously nicknamed as Brown Eyed Boys).

LC9, which stands for “League of Competition #9”, is a six-member male idol group that has been undergoing training under the agency. After revealing the members J-Hyo and RASA, they are now officially introducing the third member named, King.

LC9 will release their debut mini album with four songs on May 9th.


Super Junior recently amused their fans by transforming into Superheroes.

After their mega successful ‘Super Show 5’ in South America, the boys decided to surprise their fans and the media as they returned at the Incheon airport dressed up n Superhero costumes.

As shown in the photos, Siwon transformed into Captain America, Donghae dressed up as Iron Man, Kangin as Thor, Shindong turned into Incredible Hulk, Eunhyuk became Wolverine, Kyuhyun as Loki from ‘Thor’ movie, Henry as Goku, Sungmin became Huo Yuanjia from Jet Li’s ‘Fearless’ and Ryeowook as Spiderman.

B2ST’s Yang Yoseob and Cube Entertainment’s future girl group called Cube Girls will be teaming up to release a new single titled, “Perfume”. A teaser video for the song has been unveiled prior to its official release later today, April 30 at 6PM KST.

“Perfume” will be included in the ‘Cube Voice Project’.It is about a couple who are in love and lyrics is about their feelings are sweet like a lavender perfume. The single will showcase both the powerful vocals of Yoseob and the Cube Girls, the rookie group who’s preparing for an official debut.

As the name suggests, ‘Cube Voice Project’ will only focus on the “voice” and music. This will be new for Cube Entertainment where traditionally focused on performance-based music.

BEAST member Yang Yoseob will be releasing his first solo album in Japan.

Yang Yoseob's first Japanese solo album ‘The First Collage’ will be release in Japan on the 15th of May and has been receiving attention from Japanese medias as this will be the first time he will be performing in Japan without the other members of BEAST. He was even able to meet his fans through an event on the 26th to commemorate the release of his solo album.

‘The First Collage’ will be the Japanese version of his first solo album in Korea.

Shinhwa's Kim Dong Wan will be receiving an appreciation medal.

In January 2013, Kim Dong Wan donated 30 million won ($27,994) to help the plight of Comfort Women, Korean women who were forced into sex-slavery by Japan during WWII. It has been announced that on May 4th, Shinhwa member Kim Dong Wan will be awarded an appreciation medal for his donation.

He really deserves to receive an award for doing good deeds.

International star PSY recently attended the White House Correspondents’ dinner, hosted by President Barack Obama himself.

The 2013 White House Correspondents’ Dinner was held on April 27th at Washington D.C., and it is said that Psy received an official invitation by CBS. This year’s attendees included biggest names such as Steven Spielberg, Katy Perry and actress Nicole Kidman.

Reporter Margaret Brennan of America’s CBC channel uploaded a photo with Psy on her Twitter and wrote “I talked about when I lived in Korea with Psy. I’m sure he was exhausted, but he still made his way.”


Lee Hi revealed a sweet present she received from her fans during her last stage.

On April 28, Lee Hi uploaded a photo on her official blog and wrote, “Many fans celebrated my final performance of ‘Rose’ with beautiful roses.”

The talented rookie held her final stage for her first album activities on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on April 28th. She received a bouquet of roses from her fans with special handwritten messages written on the wrapper.

SBS TV Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Jang Ok Jung’ sees a slight increase in viewer ratings with Kim Tae Hee’s fascinating bath scene.

In the released preview still, actress Kim Tae Hee is showing off her sexy bare back as she takes a bath in a bathtub with a nervous expression on her face. She is attended by court ladies, raising curiosity about whether she will have a wedding night with Lee Soon (Yoo Ah In).

Meanwhile, according to Neilson Korea, ‘Jang Ok Jung’ recorded the viewing rate 7.5% at the episode six on 23rd, 0.6% more than the previous episode.

Orange Caramel and 10cm will be teaming up for a new ‘re;code’ project.

According to a music insider, Orange Caramel and 10cm will release a collaborative single together in mid-May. They recently finished recording a remake of 10cm’s “Hug Me”, a song originally released back in 2011.

The ‘re;code’ project album is a collaboration album of an idol with Korean musicians. The project previously garnered much attention with the collaborations from Geeks and SISTAR’s Soyu, INFINITE’s Woohyun and Lucia, and Daybreak and Sunny Hill.

On April 26, she wrote on her Twitter, “I don’t use Facebook, I only use Twitter. Before things get complicated, whoever is impersonating Lizzy better stop.

Lizzy has previously expressed her discomfort over such issue. She became a victim of impersonation with someone pretending to be her and finding celebrities’ phone numbers and sending them texts. She also provided screenshot evidence of the message the impersonator has been sending various celebrities.

Lizzy isn’t the only victim of fake accounts on different SNS as plenty of celebrities, including Jang Geun Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, Yoo Jae Suk and more have met with such situations.


CNBLUE members Jung Yonghwa and Lee Jungshin wrote a song that express their phobia of airplanes.

On April 26, CNBLUE held a fan meeting at Tokyo International Forum Hall in celebration of the release of their 5th Japanese single, ‘Blind Love’. During the event, the band showcased an impromptu and self-composed song which expresses their fear.

Yonghwa said, “I tried expressing Lee Jungshin shivering in fear whenever airplane shakes as a ballad.” In the middle of the song, he joked with the fans saying, “I think I’m a genius for making this song.”
