There's an argument on this opinion that says the name Teen Top means gay porn.
This past weekend, Teen Top was in the 'Today's Top 20' in the worldwide TWITTER, which more than 100 million people use. For that Teen Top got more popular, but one english sentence that was introducing them, brought misunderstandings.
In twitter, introducing the team's name (teen top), "Teen Top is a korean boy band. Debut song 'Clap'. "It sounds like an illegal, gay porn". (Original: Teen Top is a boy band from South Korea. Their debut's song is CLAP. Sounds like some kind of illegal, gay porn) is what they wrote.
At the debut time, they said that Teen Top is a name that comes from Teenz on Top, but shortened. They said it meant that they are in their 10's, and are the top of those that are in their 10's. When they revealed it to the public, no problem was made, but they just accepted it.
However, the overseas fans saw that Teen Top was on twitter, they made it into a hot issue, saying that in a real english dictionary, TEEN is (in their 10's.) and TOP is (women shirts, bikinis, etc.) By putting this together, you get TEEN TOP as a name, and it gave many misunderstandings.
Meanwhile, Teen Top's second single album was revealed, and last week their first performance came, and they showed their title song 'Supa Luv. This week, along with their music performance, they will also be doing a signing event, and will be going by their activites.
