[NEWS] Tony An dons ’90s trademark outfit

Singer Tony An donned a getup from his heyday, a costume worn during his days in the ‘90s idol band H.O.T, for a cameo role on a TV show.

An posted a picture of himself in baggy overalls and a bandana on his Twitter account on June 4 with the comment, “Today I took part in the sitcom ‘Answer me 1997.’ It’s based around 1997 and I played myself from back then. It was so much fun and it’s been a while since I’ve worn those pants,” said An.

Netizens and fans were thrilled and said the picture brought back memories of the ‘90s sensation that An was a part of.
Though the program has not gone to air yet, it is known that the plot will be based around events from the ‘90s.

Earlier in the year, An made headlines for performing with current boy band Smash, which he created back in 2008.

The collaboration, which went by the name “Tony & Smash,” performed for the last time on SBS’ “Popular Songs” on April 8.
On the following day, TN Entertainment stated that the former musician and current music producer has put an end to performing with the band and will concentrate on music production for the time being.
