Into the Gunfire took first place for three weeks in Korea’s Movie Box Office with its 2.5 million viewers as of last weekend. Moreover, attendance for Into the Gunfire in its third week was similar to that of its second week, and so an even greater rise is predicted.
Officials say, “As World Cup fever wears off, more people are heading to the theaters,” and, “The target population for this movie is different from Shrek and other movies that were recently released.” Furthermore, “At first, the average age of the viewers was pretty high, but now younger viewers are seeking out Into the Gunfire.”
Into the Gunfire is currently on its way to breaking 3 million viewers.
