[News] Younha holds concert over the weekend
Korean songstress Younha held two shows in Korea over the weekend which was attended by both her local and international fans.
A press release from Lion Media on Monday said that fans from Germany, Canada, the United States, France and Indonesia watched the singer perform at her two-day concert titled "TIME 2 ROCK" in Seoul on October 30 and 31.
She kicked off her concert with the song "Someday" from her second full-length album of the same name followed by "Hero" and "Break Out" and several songs from her Japanese records with an encore performance of "Password 486" and "Comet."
Her concert also featured the opening acts of Korean rap duo Supreme Team on the first day and rapper Outsider the following day. She then held a hand-shaking session after her first show and a hugging session with fans after her performance the final night.
She will continue to perform throughout the country with a show at the city of Daegu held at the Grand Hall of the Chunma Arts Center on November 13 and visit Busan the following weekend for her last concert at the KBS Hall.
Having made her debut in 2004 in Japan, Younha earned the nickname 'Oricon comet' after becoming the second Korean artist after BoA to penetrate the top 20 spots on the prestigious Oricon chart.
She has been promoting her latest single album "One Shot" which has fared well on various online and offline music charts since its release on October 14.
