Super Junior’s Chinese sub-unit Super Junior-M (Siwon, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Henry, and Zhou Mi) have spread their new wings.
Super Junior-M, which saw leader Hankyung’s withdrawal and the addition of new members Eunhyuk and Sungmin, revealed a 27 second-long teaser video through Taiwan’s teaser site at 2pm (Taiwan time) on the 16th of February for their second mini-album “Tai Wan Mei (太完美 – Perfection)”.
Prior to this, over two days on the 12th and 13th (of February), Super Junior-M, whom had revealed this album jacket’s photos through their teaser site, released their teaser videos sequentially through the Chinese-speaking regions, with Taiwan in the lead.
The (teaser of the) title song “太完美 – Perfection”, which was released on the 16th, gave an advanced notice about Super Junior-M’s exotic choreography, and gave off a charm that is different from their (Super Junior’s) previous album “Miinah”.
The unique group choreography which SM boasts was also shown despite the short length of the video, and the expectations for their brilliant stage was amplified.
In particular, “你的眉眼 你的侧脸 你的颈肩 你的妩媚 你的一切 从头到尾 我已沦陷 oh 太完美 (Your facial features, your side profile, your neck, your charm, I’ve fallen for your everything from head to toe, oh too perfect)”, which part of the chorus which cites the title 太完美 (Perfection), is an expression for the woman that they have fallen for, and it seems to be enough to shake the hearts of the girls in mainland China.
Super Junior-M will resume their activities by taking part in the filming of CCTV’s Super Junior-M special, which takes place on the 22nd and 23rd (of February) in Beijing, China.
On another note, Super Junior-M formally made their debut in the Chinese music industry through the release of their Chinese language album in April 2008, sweeping first place on various music charts, and also accomplishing the feat of winning the Grand Slam award for the Best Group on China’s year-end awards ceremony.
