Jang garnered an award at the "China Music Awards and Asian Influential Awards."Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk garnered the "Most Influential Korean Artist Award" at the 15th "China Music Awards and Asian Influential Awards" that were held in Qingdao, China on April 15, his agency Tree J company announced on April 18.
The awards took a vote to select the most influential Korean male stars among nominees consisting of Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, and Hyun Bin, and Jang obtained a total of 106,726 votes and ranked atop the vote. His agency said, "Many Chinese stars such as Jackie Chan, Fahrenheit, and Wilber Pan participated in the award ceremony, and Jang Geun Suk was the only artist from outside the China region among the participants. He presented a powerful performance during the event.
In addition, Jang Geun Suk is now preparing an Asian concert tour to hold performances in countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Shanghai in China. He will also release his debut single album in Japan on April 27."
