---Your CD debut in Japan has been confirmed; how do you feel right now?
JUNSU: It's a chance for everyone in Japan to learn more about 2PM, so I'm really happy! And super excited!
KHUN: With our debut coming up, I want to work harder at studying Japan's culture and language; there's a lot I want to do. I also feel pressure and some uneasiness, but my excitement at promoting in Japan and meeting our fans overrides all that.
WOO: I want to hurry up and sing on stage, and interact with our fans in Japan!
---What kind of song is your debut single?
KHUN: "Take Off" is a song that pushes people forward to start on a new beginning. "Don't be afraid of failure; open a new door! We're here with you!" It'd be great if we can convey that message.
JUNHO: That's right. I hope people can listen to this dramatic song, which hints of a beginning, and feel something from it.
WOO: We've made it a bright song that everyone can relate to, so I want people to be excited about it! Also, the song accompanying it, "Heartbeat", is a newly recorded Japanese version of the original. I hope for everyone in Japan to enjoy our representative song, too! I think it has a different feel from the original wild image.
---How were the Japanese lyrics?
TAEC: I was worried about whether it'd be difficult to sing in Japanese, but after practising a lot, I could gradually do it. I'm glad all the members could enjoy singing the song.
CHAN: I really like my part, where I go, "Tsuyoi yuuki ni naru mahou no kotoba" (Magic words that give you strength). It'd be great if "Take Off" can become everyone's magic word - a song that will give you courage.
---Who are your favourite Japanese artistes?
JUNSU: I love Teriyaki Boys-san. The vocals of JUJU-san and Crystal Kay-san are also fantastic. I respect them.
KHUN: I like Utada Hikaru-san.
CHAN: I like Chemistry-san.
TAEC: I was curious about their dance choreography, so I watched some of EXILE-san's and Arashi-san's stage performances. The performances were really fun and cool. All of the members love Japanese music.
---By the way, I hear that all of you are living together. Are you close to each other?
JUNHO: We're so close that we fool around a lot when we're together. (laughs)
CHAN: We'd crack jokes with each other and go nuts over the silliest things.
WOO: Yeah, yeah! It's been a while since the 6 of us were together, so on the night we arrived in Japan, we were so happy we made a ton of noise. Then we fell asleep while laughing hysterically. (laughs)
---Do you have distinct roles in the group, like the moodmaker and such?
TAEC: I think the moodmaker is the ever funny Wooyoung. Junho is the person who brings everyone together. I make noise, eat a lot, and sleep a lot. Chansung and Nichkhun also eat a lot and sleep a lot. (laughs) And Junsu's good at singing!
JUNSU: Wait a minute! Why am I the only one who gets "good at singing" after all that!? (laughs)
JUNHO: Haha! Okay, I'll fill in the gaps for Taecyeon. Because Junsu's musical talent is amazing, he's the charismatic vocalist. Nichkhun's the cute gentleman, Taecyeon and Chansung are the manly characters who fit the beastly idol image. 2PM is filled with passionate and hardworking men.

Q: Which part of your body do you like?
A: My eyes. Because I'm often told by fans that they like my eyes when I smile.

A: Wooyoung likes to play unique pranks.
Chansung is a hardworker who carries through everything to the very end.
Junho is decisive and very manly.
Taecyeon is cool and has the presence of a reliable older brother.

A: I recommend Apgujeong's Rodeo Street for shopping. Garosugil has a lot of wonderful cafes.
Q: What's your impression of Japanese girls?
They seem quite gentle. It's cute that they speak in a reserved way, while being considerate to the other person.
Q: What hangul phrase would you like to teach girls?
A: "Dowa juseyo." It means "lend me a hand!" in Korean. If a girl said this, everyone would kindly help her out. (laughs)
Q: What animal would you compare yourself to?
A: Tiger. A beast! I'm more masculine than I look. I'm the total epitome of a beast when I'm on stage, or when I'm weight training at the sports gym.
Q: What have you bought lately?
A: I bought 7 torchlight keyholders in Okinawa. They're a matching set, so I gave one to each of the members and our manager.
Q: Please tell us your weak point!
A: I'm too careful! Once when I was shopping, I spent about 2 hours trying to decide whether to buy something or not.
Q: If you were a girl, which member would you date?
A: Everyone's charming but I'll go with Wooyoung. It's fun being with Wooyoung, who often tells jokes to liven up the mood.
Q: What kind of fashion do you like on a girl?
A: I like a simple style, like T-shirts, jeans and sneakers. I also prefer natural make-up.

A: I usually wear something comfortable. But when I came to Japan the last time and arrived at the hotel, I went straight to sleep in my clothes. I slept really well though. (laughs)
Q: What are you obsessed with lately?
A: Sleeping. Due to drama filming, I didn't sleep much for the past 6 days. I was really happy that I could finally sleep when we came to Japan.
Q: What hangul phrase would you like to teach girls?
A: "Jeogiyo." It's used to call someone, like "pardon me" or "excuse me". If you use this word casually, I think the man will have a good impression.
Q: Which part of your body do you like?
A: My ears. I've always been told that they have a rare shape since I was a child. They're like lucky ears.
Q: What's the latest Japanese word that you've learned?
A: "Isshoukenmei" (To put in a great amount of effort). It's in the Japanese translation for the lyrics of our Korean song, so I naturally remembered it.
Q: What kind of fashion do you like on a girl?
A: Something rough and simple would be great. A jersey or shirt is OK, too. The fashion of Japanese girls seem quite refined; not that I know anything about dressing well. (laughs)

They have a unique way of talking. My impression is that their voices are soft and gentle.

The members say I'm like a pelican. (laughs) Apparently I especially look like one when I drink water. I don't think I do, but it's kind of like, "Ohh, really~"

My hands, because we use our hands to grasp and do a lot of things with them, so I think they're important.

A: Underwear I wear for training and a loose T-shirt. It's good to wear a large-sized T-shirt to sleep so you won't feel cold. It works as a replacement futon (thick blanket), too. (laughs)

A: Tonkotsu ramen (ramen with pork belly and bones). It was so delicious that I ate 2 bowls at one go!

A: If you want to look at Seoul's residential buildings and culture, check out Insadong! There's delicious makgeolli (Korean rice wine) and kimchi, as well as many jjigae restaurants.
Q: What hangul phrase would you like to teach girls?
A: "Baram dungi". Japanese girls, if you encounter a playboy in Seoul, please say this word. It means "cheater". (laughs)

A: They're kind, and all of them have cute smiles. They would smile so shyly at me, I couldn't help wondering if maybe they liked me or something. (laughs)

"Nandeyanen!" (loosely translated, "wtf!?") I really like it, so I use it often. I have a good friend in Osaka, so I remembered the word after hearing it a lot.

I have a baby face and big, round pupils, so a panda. When I have make-up on, my eyes are further emphasized so I look even more like a panda. (laughs)

I'm obsessed with songwriting. There's a scene of me composing in the bonus video of the DVD "All About 2PM" on sale right now, so please take a look!

Shinsadong's Garosugil. The scenery is pretty and it's an area where you can do some shopping. It's like Omotesando in Japan. I often go to the cafes there to drink coffee.
