Jang Keun Suk, who is as popular as Bae Yong Joon from Winter Sonata in Japan, is now appearing on Japanese best variety show, SMAP x SMAP.
The show is run by Japanese ‘idol’ group, SMAP, which consists of five members. On the 11th, Lady Ga Ga from the States appeared on the show along with a preview of the next show in which Jang Keun Suk appears.
A special feature in which Jang Keun Suk appears will broadcast on the 18th in the title of “Bistro SMAP.” In the preview, Jang Keun Suk talks, dances, and sings with SMAP members in fluent Japanese.
According to Japanese media, SMAP x SMAP producer says, “SMAP members were so excited at the hearing of the rising star in Japan, Jang Keun Suk’s appearance on the show. The shooting was great. The viewers are looking forward to watching the show.”
Fuji TV’s SMAP x SMAP is the figurehead of Japanese variety shows. This is the only program where all of the SMAP members appear, and world’s top stars from Holly Wood, as well as Madonna and Mariah Carey featured in the past.
Korean stars such as Jang Dong Gun, Lee Byung Hun, Choi Ji Woo, Ryu Si Won, and BoA appeared before Jang Keun Suk.
