2NE1‘s Japanese debut mini-album, entitled, “NOLZA,” has topped the Oricon Weekly Chart, only after six days of its release.

According to a report given on the 27th by Japanese media, Oricon Style, it stated that 2NE1′s Japanese debut album, “NOLZA,” which was launched on the 21st, has topped the Oricon Weekly Charts, only after 6 days of their debut. Previously, KARA has also ranked #1 on the same chart (244 days after debut) and also SNSD (after 272 days after debut), and with this new accomplishment, 2NE1 has beaten both in being the girl group which rose to the number 1 spot the fastest.

2NE1 is the third foreign artist that topped the charts after their Japan debut. First, there’s Russian duo group, tAtu, with their debut album “tATu” (released on March 2003), and then Korean solo artist, Jang Geun Suk with his debut single, “Let Me Cry” as the second.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is continuing their successful debut concert tour in Japan, touring in three different cities, and performing six times. For their debut Japanese concert, they boast the most number of attendees in a concert, for a Korean group, with more than 70,000 fans in total attendance.
