[News] JYJ's Junsu to play 'Death' in upcoming musical 'Elisabeth'
JYJ's Kim Junsu has been casted to the upcoming star-studded musical.
On October 28th, a press release from EMK revealed that Junsu will take on the role of Death in "Das Musical ELISABETH" which will take place at the Blue Square in Seoul starting February 9th till May 13th next year.
Along with Junsu, Ryu Jung Han and Song Chang Ee will also appear as Death. The female lead role as empress Elizabeth will be played by actress Ock Ju Hyun and Kim Sun Young.
This is Junsu's third lead role in a musical after "Mozart!" and "Tears Of Heaven" which claimed him awards including, "Best New Actor" and "Most Popular Actor" at The Fourth Musical Awards and The 16th Korea Musical Awards in 2010.
"Das Musical ELISABETH", to be helmed by Robert Johanson, tells the life and death story of Empress consort of Austria, Elisabeth of Bavaria, wife of Franz Joseph I. The musical has been produced by various countries including Vienna, Tokyo, Berlin and more.
