On the April 28 broadcast of KBS Entertainment Weekly's Guerilla Date segment, the girls of 4minute made a striking statement.
On that day, member Gayoon explained, "Before our debuts, we caused a lot of troubles." She continued by saying, "Back then, because of a big incident we caused, we ran away to Hongdae without the people of the agency knowing. We turned off our phones and escaped."
Jiyoon also explained, "Since it was past midnight, when we turn on our phones, we had received about 100 missed calls. Our friends and parents were all called to Cube Entertainment's headquarters. Because of what Gayoon and I did that day,we got cut from the trainee team and our debut as 4minute got postponed."
