Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk has once again proved his popularity in Japan through a life-size newspaper advertisement.
On May 30, several photos of Jang Geun Suk’s newpaper were posted on an online community board with the description “The King of Hallyu, The Power of Jang Geuk Suk”.
The photos show the Asahi newspaper in Japan, devoting eight pages of its paper to promote Jang Geun Suk and his new Japanese album ‘Just Crazy’. The advertisement contains a full-body image of the artist on one side, and four different stills on the other side.
Japanese netizens commented, “Jang Geun Suk is on a totally different scale”, “Went to convenience store to buy it, but all 500,000 copies were sold out” and “I’m anticipating his album sales too.”
