J.Tune Camp reveals more details about ‘Two X’


Following the success of idol group MBLAQ, J.Tune Camp is gearing up for their next project — new group ‘Two X’! After teasing fans via Twitter, the agency has now revealed more information about it newest act.

According to J.Tune Camp, ‘Two X’ will be MBLAQ’s sister group and will make their official debut on August 20th. The five-member girl group is made up of Jiyu, Minjoo, Eun, Soorin and Eunyoung who have been thoroughly preparing over the past few years.

Leader and main vocalist Jiyu has previously participated in Rain’s 5th album “Rainism”, featuring in the track “You”. She also sang OST track “Mayday” for KBS 2TV’s ‘Fugitive PlanB’. The rapper Eunyoung also worked as backup dancer for Rain, as well as for Big Bang and 2NE1.

Two X stands for Top, Win, One and ‘X’ stands for ‘multiply’, signifying their desire to be on the top and multiply their successes. The group’s new album was produced by Duble Sidekick (Double Sidekick) and Ichiro Suezawa, who has worked with stars like Bruno Mars.

Two X will be holding a debut stage on Mnet‘s M!Coundown August 16th!
