Andy Collison also revealed that 2NE1 ‘s collboration with Adidas has been going on for some time and the commercial that they have shot along with Derrick Rose who’s making a comeback, has already been broadcasted around the world in over 50 countries.
Adidas is known to engage spokespersons that cater to local tastes in different countries or regions, however, Andy Collison said that he thinks 2NE1 caters to the tastes of everyone irregardless of where they are from, thus, they will be appearing in all the commercials.
“K-pop is extremely popular at the moment. Wasn’t there this guy lately who’s song, Gangnam Style, got really popular? The song excites and has great rythm.. really awesome,” Andy Collison said.
Having been appointed as a global spokesperson for Adidas, maybe we’ll soon be able to see 2NE1 attending events together with Beckham.
