SISTAR’s Bora gave up on racing in the finals of ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship’.
On February 11th, Bora appeared on MBC TV Special ‘2013 Idol Star Athletics Championship’ and competed for the women’s 70 meter race. During the preliminaries, she suffered from injury but still managed to qualify for the finals.
However, Bora decided to give up the finals in order to protect her knee. She had also announced that she would no longer be participating in the track and field events of the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship’.
Before the 70-meter race finals, the crew of the show gave Bora an appreciation plaque. Upon receiving the plaque, she said, “I’m so sad. I hope other idol stars do well on this show in the future.”
