Ahead of her official debut, singer Baek Ji Young displayed immediate success by selling out her upcoming first exclusive showcase in Japan.
According to local Japanese media outlet, tickets to Baek Ji Young’s debut showcase “Premium Night” in Tokyo on May 1 were completely sold out as soon as they were made available.
The exclusive showcase will be held at the Akasaka Blitz Hall in Tokyo to celebrate her Japanese debut with fans. Baek Ji Young is set perform Japanese versions of “Don’t Forget,” “I Won’t Love” and “That Woman”.
An official from Japan said, “It is a very rare case for a Korean female soloist to grow so popular in Japan. Her popularity in Japan is just amazing.”
In the run-up to ticket sales, she teased for her upcoming album through a two-minute video for the Japanese version of her single ‘That Woman’.
