Where does that leave the girls for the other two shows that distribute awards Music Bank and Inkigayo.... sitting pretty. A full week has passed since the release of 2NE1’s first full length album “To Anyone”. We saw how quickly all six new songs on the album took up spots within the top ten on many realtime charts just hours after the release. Presently, 2NE1 has still been topping daily charts.

2NE1’s three title tracks claimed the top three spots on the major charts (the first five on the matrix; Melon, Dosirak, Mnet, Soribada, and Bugs), with the rest of the songs also taking spots within the top ten. For example, for a couple days earlier in the week ‘It Hurts’ sat at the fourth spot for many charts, just behind the title tracks. Just as many Blackjacks predicted, the title songs have been fighting for the number one spot all week.
Where are they NOW? Going into the weekend there have been some significant changes in the rankings. J.Lim's single featuring Jo Kwon is doing well and has replaced 2NE1 as first on several charts, Melon, Monkey 3 and Soribada (Download and Stream like crazy). However, 2NE1 is not far away at all they are maintaining Top 5 rankings for all three of their title tracks on all the key charts. Using the clever idea of 봄토리@DC2NE1, we have made an updated chart of 2NE1's current standings. Note, that our chart DOES NOT include real-time rankings as those are just too volatile. These are purely DAILY chart rankings as indicated.
Day 7 -- Comparison of 9/14 to 9/16 KST
As you can see, Go AWAY is killing the mobile charts, positively beastly. Seems as though Go Away as pulled ahead of Clap Your Hands (anecdotally I was told by a Korean friend that the Korean pronunciation of Clap Your hands could be strange to Koreans not that familiar with hip-hop) either way all three title songs are still doing very well indeed. Un fortunately the other three songs are not fairing so well, I'm Busy, which actually showed improvement on the Bugs chart, is now averaging 15.2 ranking; not that bad as its still in the Top 20. It Hurts is beating out Love is Ouch almost 2:1, on many charts It hurts is still ranked in the TOP 5. Let's continue to have faith and support the girls efforts to for a successful round of promotions. Personally, I suspect that after more outstanding performances like the three on M.Countdown, those people on the fence will also want to snag thier own copy of To anyone.
As for the album Charts, as previously reported To Anyone is on top of the GAON charts and most other album charts in Korea. They are selling albums like hot cakes.
A note about Itunes, although the girls Itunes Chart ranking has slipped from a high today of 15, the are still within the TOP 25 which is outstanding considering the stiff stiff competition. Continue to support 2NE1 on Itunes as they steadily aim for the top.
Based on the digital charts alone ‘Can’t Nobody’ and ‘Go Away’ seem to be the top two contenders, but we’re still unsure which song will take lead on the music show charts. Which song do you think will win first on the music shows? Also, its unclear how YGE's plan to promote one song per show will effect the ability of 2NE1 to win additional awards. There’s sure to be some chart ranking changes as the girls perform the next four days. Stay tuned for the an update on their chart rankings next week.
The girls will continue to promote their songs on all of the music programs this week. On 9/17 - MUSIC BANK the will perform [CAN’T NOBODY] and [GO AWAY] then on 9/18 – MUSIC COREthey will perform [CAN’T NOBODY] and [CLAP YOUR HANDS].
