2PM has returned as upgraded beast idols for "I'll Be Back."

The "I'll Be Back" beast idols have returned. With an even stronger image than ever of "Upgrade 2:00pm," they have released their mini album "Still 2:00PM." Mischieviously, the six familiar men haven't changed, and they have armed themselves as an even stronger and more intense 2PM when I met with them for the interview.

Congratulations on releasing your mini album, "Still 2:00PM." I've occassionally seen Nichkhun on WGM, but how have the others spent their time?

Junsu: We were busy with our solo concert together with our fans. We also made a lot of CF's and most of all we prepared for our new album.

Junho: I've been reading a lot of Japanese books. I believe that if I can learn to understand [Japanese] culture, I'll be able to empathize well with [Japanese] fans (laugh).

Chansung: Lately I've been engrossed in studying Japanese. I'll show Japan my flawless Japanese skills!

Taecyeon: I had gotten slightly injured when preparing acrobatics, so I managed my physical condition a bit and took some traditional Chinese medicine (laugh).

Wooyoung: In place of Junho, I practiced very hard to show off the main acrobatic moves. I'm happy to see that only good results have come from practicing. Junho-yah, did I do well? (laugh)

Nichkhun: It wasn't just the 2PM concerts, there were also a lot of CF's and WGM that I was busy with every day.

Are there any tracks on this album that you especially hold dear?

Junsu: When we were recording I really liked all the tracks, however...the song "I CAN'T" in particular, wasn't the style we normally do, so I like it more for its freshness.

Junho: I like the title track, "I'll Be Back" the most. It's a song that shines just like the sweat we were covered in for hours and hours while practicing the dance moves.

Chansung: Like Junsu hyung, I also like "I CAN'T." I actually really like peaceful songs (laugh).

Taecyeon: "Dance2Night"~!! It's the 2nd song I've made a rap for and it's even more motivating that it was used (laugh).

Wooyoung: I hold all of the songs dearly, but I like the song Ra.D hyung worked on most (laugh).

Nichkhun: I like the title track too, but personally I like "Can't forget your love" most!

When you watch the teaser video for the "Still 2:00PM" mini album, it really seems like "Upgrade 2:00pm." More than ever before, there's an emphasis on a manly atmosphere and it feels like 6 men have turned into 6 robots. Are there any special preparations you took to achieve that image?

2PM: The members received a lot of injuries while preparing the acrobatic choreography this time. Junho and Taecyeon especially had to do a lot of highly difficult acrobatics, and in the middle of it all, Junho hurt his shoulder and we had to substitute Wooyoung for him in a hurry. Thankfully, Wooyoung did it a lot and was able to produce a satisfactory video.

2PM's new album is on sale, and the theme is "dance." What kind of dance have you planned to show this time?

2PM: The choreography for "I'll Be Back" is a dance that was popular in the 90s called the "rabbit dance" that has been transformed into a "shuffle dance" to suit a house rhythm; the "shuffle" motions are lively and the movement has been made even more powerful because of our original beast-dol 2PM energy. There's also a part in the choreography where we do an action with our thumb for "I'll Be Back" that's based off of a famous scene in the movie Terminator. There are many highlights!

Ra.D participated in composing a track for this album. The collaboration's soft style was unexpected of 2PM, but was his participation a special chance for you?

2PM: We think it's good for an artist to always try to show fans a new side of themselves. Besides that, it was fun and exciting to work with Ra.D. Thanks to him, we were able to complete the song satisfactorily. Please give 2PM's new charm a try~!!

Taecyeon firsthandedly made the rap for "Dance2Night." Was it hard for the ideas to come out? Such as, did you use any material from your personal life? (laugh)

Junsu: When I saw him, he had been writing it while I was asleep next to him (laugh).

Taecyeon: Actually, I couldn't put in difficult lines because I felt that I wasn't accustomed enough to making raps (laugh). Naturally, if I had made it about love or everyday modesty, it could've turned into something from my personal life, but since it's just something I want everyone to dance along to, there's no relation.

Songs on the album like "Dance2Night" and before that, the cheerful melody of the digital single released in September "Nori For U," seem to give fans a more gentle perception of 2PM, but with the Christmas season drawing near, are there any plans for 2PM to release a carol?

2PM: There aren't any plans set in stone for it yet, but we want to try releasing a carol album sometime! It seems 2PM's image would really change if we were to don Santa outfits. Look forward to it somehow (laugh).

All the members have been active as "foreign advertisement models for the city of Seoul," but where do you actually go to most in Seoul? What place would you first recommend to a foreigner?

Junsu: I would recommend Seoul's Central Park, Seoul's forest. You can experience Seoul's seasonal changes the best, and it's a pretty area. Ah, of course, the sky is very pretty too.

Junho: Honestly, the place I go to most is the JYP center (laugh). Just kidding! Taecyeon hyung and I both go to Han River a lot. It makes me proud to think that a river that big is right in the center of the city of Seoul.

Chansung: Ah...there's a lot of places, but I recommend COEX and Apgujeong~!! There are so many people and different places that you won't even notice the time pass by~ (laugh)

Taecyeon: Han River Park~! It's where I go sometimes at daybreak to ride my bike and better my mood, and every time I go, I return with a clear mind and a sense of liberty.

Wooyoung: I recommend Gwanghwamun. Lately I haven't had time to go there much, but they changed it and it's really cool and pretty.

Nichkhun: I think anywhere in Seoul would be good. It's lively. Thailand's good too~ Phuket, Hua Hin, Pataya, all are good. By the way, I'm the Public Relations Ambassador of Thailand (laugh).

Thank you for your valuable responses. Lastly, please tell us what activities you have planned for after this.

The pre-sale tickets of JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) first concert are sold one after another.

The reservation website Interpark stated, “On the 22th starting at 8 pm we held the pre-sale tickets of JYJ first concert ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’, and all 20,000 tickets in this 2nd round sale are sold out quickly.”

Interpark official added, “On last 19th we released first round ticket sales with 20,000 tickets sold out, and this 2nd round had all the tickets sold out in even faster rate. We will prepare to conduct the 3rd round ticket as soon as possible.”

JYJ is holding their first concert in Jamsil Olympic Stadium for two days in following November 27th – 28th at 19:00 with two consecutive performances. The concert is to commemorate the release of JYJ first worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ that was out on last 12th.

There are 9 cities in 6 countries spread out from their current world tour showcase, and the concert will feature 18 songs to audiences, where the members’ unreleased self composed songs are going to be released as well.

Meanwhile, JYJ first worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ that was released on the 12th drew a lot of attention as it’s featured in U.S Billboard ‘Popular Music’. ‘The Beginning’ reached 520,000 mark sales in South Korea while in other countries where the album dropped in such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan, it’s also getting good responses.

Members of group JYJ Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong, and Kim Junsu has been active in twitter thus attracts a lot of interests.

On last 21st Park Yoochun had released his personal twitter that quickly followed by his fellow members Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu right after.

Three days ago Kim Jaejoong created his twitter account and launched it by an announcement at Park Yoochun’s twitter to his followers. Meanwhile Kim Junsu on the 22nd announced his twitter account by posting his opening tweet, “The person who has persuaded me to join twitter world is Yoochun, How is it, I haven’t done something like this before.” He briefly mentioned the difficulties of twitter system. Ever since, the three members have been quite active in their respective personal twitter by writing status and posting pictures.

With JYJ members have joined twitter, netizens left various comments such as, “Now I need to start my own twitter too” “It’s really nice to have chance to meet JYJ through twitter” “It feels close to keep in touch with them via twitter.”

Ten years as a Ballerina, Stephanie became a member of CSJH - During Japanese promotions injured her back, after 2 years has had a heartfelt successful rehabilitation - She auditioned and made it into the LA Ballet dance team - Folding her dreams as a singer, knocking on it again

Back that felt like it was dragging her body down. Not being able to maintain her body due to fatigue. Breaking into sweat in the cold practice rooms and collapsing to the floor.

Cheers and applause from fans felt as if they were fading. Losing consciousness within these thoughts.

In winter 2008 in Tokyo, Japan near a practice room. With a large concert ahead, the 4 member groups were preoccupied with practice, but one member injured her back. All activities were halted. Nabbing the Asian market was only a hands reach away, but the dream quickly collapsed. The frustration of it felt bigger than the pain in her back. Dancing was her all, but not being able to do so, cried everyday. At the end of her struggles, she chose to go to the States, where her family resides.

Little by little, within her family, she has found stability. For 2 years she held onto rehabilitating. Winning the challenge of recovering was as sweet as a fruit.

Last month, she auditioned for the LA Ballet Dance club and came out on top as the only Korean dancer among hundreds and placed her name on the list.

It is SM Entertainment's 4 member group CSJH The Grace's member CheonMu Stephanie (23, Korean name Kim Bo Kyung) is that woman.

Ballet Loving Maiden

At the age of 5, Stephanie first put on her ballet slippers. She has danced ballet for 10 years prior to being chosen by SME at the age of 16. She was happy with just dancing. She enjoyed learning the dances of stars on TV and has practiced dancing on her own.

That is how she met ballet. It was as if it were fate that she came across ballet.

In 1999, she followed her family and immigrated to Southern California, San Diego.

She was able to take great ballet classes there. As if they were gifts, in the San Diego region Black Mountain Dancing Center, she has built talent and skills.

At the age of 12, she won the highest (DaeSang) award at a competition that was sponsored by famous associations. She has then performed as a soloist in the Southern California Youth Ballet.

"Since I loved ballet and was able to keep doing it, I did the best I could. I was happy to be able to get on stage."

Her skills have garnered the attention of many.

Back in 2000, she performed in the Nutcracker in an early summer night. She was praised by the Union Tribune. In 2003, she was scouted for the Boston Ballet Dance School.

She said her skills must be/is in her genes.

"My mother majored in vocal music (?), so maybe this is how I inherited my (distinct ballet skills(?))" She said.

"I was always interested in music or dancing, so I was able to start them at a very young age because of my mother. I thank my parents for the skills I have and had a great time practicing and performing on stage."

From Ballerina to Idol

Ballet being the only thing quickly changed. In 2004, SME held a Best Youth Contest at Orange County. She won best song (?) and was picked. She was attending San Diego Rancho Bernardo High School at that time.

"I accidentally got into doing it and got to win an award and was asked to become a singer in Korea."

"In between ballet and singing, I thought a lot about it. But for the bigger dream of going to Korea, I temporarily folded my ballet dreams. Even now, I would have still chosen to become a singer." She confessed.

With receiving praise for her singing and dancing, she triumphantly did well in Korea.

Only being a trainee for one year, she was able to debut as a singer. SM was looking for a 4th member for CSJH to break into the Asian market. Being the best at choreography, she acquired the name "CheonMu Stephanie." It means Heaven's Dance.

She was the only member with no past experience in the Korean entertainment.

"Living in Korea was a whole new experience. But thanks to ballet, I wasn't nervous nor shook. I was already fit for performing. The experiences I've had in Korea are unforgettable memories.

After debuting, she has gone on various programs. While showing her dancing and flexibility (?) was able to rise. She was naturally able to gain a strong/warm fanbase. With a goal of breaking into the Asian market, was able to succeed.

Recovering Injury and Ballet

In their advancement in Japan, CSJH held a few concerts and heightened their popularity. They were able to schedule their first tour.
"In Japan, we lived their for 3 years we slowly found our spot from the bottom and was holding our first concert at that time. Members were overflowing with motivation."

But through those motivations were faults. They held unnecessary practices and put stress onto her back.

"I exercised at this time when my back wasn't even in good condition and continuously practiced dancing, so I think that resulted in injuring my back. I was given time to rest, but it was not getting any better. So I had no choice but to return to the states to my family."

Living in the States was no picnic(?) either.

Due to the pain in her back, it was uncomfortable. For months she never set foot out of her home. She was far from being able to dance. Tears would not stop flowing and fell into depression. The one thing that was able to help her back up was ballet.

"In order to move my body again, I went through therapy to rehabilitate. During that time I visited the ballet school I went to when I was a kid. It's been years since I've left that school, but nothing changed.

With the encouragement from the company, she slipped back on her ballet slippers. She followed the advice of the director and acquired a certificate.

"Restarting ballet, it felt like I was returning back home. I've been working on ballet and recoring. Eventually in 2 years, I was able to finish rehabiliating and was able to dance again."

With her body becoming more healthy, she was able to gain confidence. She started studying and with the support (?) from the Korean Arts University, was able to feel the happiness and what it is like to be a college student. Taking absence/leave from school, she went back to the states and in the Los Angeles Ballet aduitioned in "The Nutcracker." She has once again been able to raise her name as the only Korean ballerina.

"I am determined to give it my all in whatever casting I receive as a ballerina. To everyone who has supported me when I was on stage, I will pay you back. After finishing this year-end (?) performance, next year I will return back as a singer to once again take up a new challenge in my dreams as a singer."

With dreams of becoming a future ballet director, "Within a hard and tiring circumstance/situation, in order to acquire my dreams, I am working hard. I want to become an outstanding example to Koreans. Please watch me rising back up like a roly-poly(?)."

The youngest male idol group, TEEN TOP (C.A.P Chunji L.Joe Niel Changjo Ricky) held a surprise event on their 100th day.

TEEN TOP made their debut on 10th July in MBC 'Music Core'. TEEN TOP did their activities with their title song 'Clap', and received some attention for their great live performance. They finished their activities with 'Clap' and got to rest for a while. They hit their 100th Day on last 17th October, and held a surprise event for their fans.

On 17th October from 6-7 PM, TEEN TOP were on their Twitter, Me2day and UFO Town. They were connecting with their fans through a surprise event.

6 members goes in an order to express their happiness with replies. Just like their nickname 'world-dol' (world idol), there's so many international fans who dropped some congratulatory messages. 

Before the event ended, the members wrote something like "Time is fast, right? Let's go together until our 1st anniversary and 10th anniversary. I love you", "Thanks to everyone who joined the event! It was really fun!! And thanks to all fans who congratulated our 100th Day. I love you.", etc. 

Meanwhile, TEEN TOP will be holding their first official fan meeting in Japan on 2nd November. TEEN TOP received some attention from junior and high school students in Japan. They're certified as the 'Top of 10s' (teenagers).

According to WGM’s staff, Nickhun prepared a small event at the yacht for his wife, everyone had thoughts that this event will come out really romantic (goosebumps-ish! hahahha). However, it did not turn out as what they expected.

Also, another staff added ‘Although having a very tight schedule, Nickhun still did want to express his gratitude towards Victoria personally. Victoria had to leave back to Seoul on a car ride after that ‘event’, that’s why Nickhun’s Thank You Event faced some hurdles. How did the event go?
