Singer IU talked about her own image.
In the recent interview with Issue Daily, IU said, "My image seems to be at either one extreme or the other", "some say I'm flippant and wild, while others say I'm gloomy and quiet."
"Also, those who don't know me well would say many things like, 'she has changed after gaining popularity', "but I was a cold and unfriendly child ever since I debuted."
IU said, "When I debuted, I didn't smile and the people at LOEN would wonder why I was like that, but now they really like that side of me. I was never the amiable type with lots of aegyo."
Meanwhile, IU released her 2nd regular album, 'Last Fantasy' and will be entering fullscale promotional activities with her title track, 'You and I'.

Singer IU revealed her true feeilngs about her Japanese debut.
In a recent interview with Eeyoo(?) Daily, IU said, "It's true I'm worried about whether it'll be difficult since I'm not strong in my performance", however, "I want not just Korean but also Japanese fans to know my name and my songs and I think of this as a great opportunity," she added.
While IU already has existing fans in Japan who know who she is , she said, "I want to get closer to them and just sing for them, so I'm trying not to feel burdened."
Meanwhile, IU will work with EMI Music Japan, which has Matsutoya Yumi, Utada Hikaru, Sheena Ringo and other stars under them, and plans to hold a showcase in Tokyo in January next year, before releasing her official Japanese debut single in February.
