With only one episode left to air for the KBS Wednesday/Thursday drama "Fugitive Plan B", Rain made an appearance in Yeouido on December 6th to talk about his experience and what's coming up for the world star.

He said, "Although 'Fugitive' didn't rank too high in terms of viewers' ratings, we did have a diehard fan base. It helped me to see a new side of me as a person and I think it was a drama that gradually earned the recognition of viewers. Although ratings are important, I also think the relationships formed between people and bettering yourself as a human being is important. I want to thank the producer Kwak Jeong-hwan for always greeting me with a smile and supporting me despite the various hardships that popped up during this drama. I'm thankful to Lee Na-young too for giving me strength as her opposite male co-star. She told me that if I let the negative personal issues get to me on set, I'm the one that's losing in the end. Overall, this was a project that allowed me to really look back on myself and my actions."

The filming of "Fugitive" took place while there were allegations of gambling and a significant amount of debt for the singer/actor.

As for what lays ahead for the big star Rain revealed, "The timing worked out for me to shoot one more Hollywood movie and then I'll enlist in the military towards the latter half of next year."

KBS TV series ""Fugitive: Plan B" will go on air in Japan starting April next year.

CEO Ahn Hyung-soo of the production company of the show told Sports Today over the phone, "It has been decided that the show will begin its air in Japan. Starting April, 'Fugitive' will be broadcasted on So-net, a station affiliated with Sony Group." Ahn added they are currently in talks with other public networks in Japan as well.

In October, the distribution rights to "Fugitive" was sold to seven countries in Asia including Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

“Fugitive: Plan B,” which will end its run tonight, is helmed by noted director Kwak Jung-hwan and written by Chun Sung-il, the creative duo behind the 2010 hit series "The Slave Hunters."

The action-comedy drama, starring Rain, Lee Na-young and Daniel Henney, is about a detective and his female client getting chased by cops and gangs as they get entangled in a case searching for gold that disappeared almost a century ago.

The 20-part series first scored viewership ratings in the 20 percent range when it aired on October 7 and has maintained its position at No. 2 on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime slot with ratings in the 13 to 15 percent range.

There are 3 more episodes before KBS 2TV drama "The Fugitive Plan B'' ends.

Its 18th episode was recently pre-empted by the Guangzhou Asian games final, which has caused a setback in the programming schedule. As a result, the drama was originally supposed to go off the air on Thursday, but it is in a very embarrassing situation where it has to end on Wednesday.

The drama production said about this on November 29th, "This week's episodes of the drama will go ahead as original, on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. The matter that is about whether a special feature on the drama is broadcast next Thursday, is under discussion."

According to this official, if the special feature will be aired, it will contain material of the drama's making film, NG cut, the undisclosed scene of the overseas shooting, etc.

[Dec-01-2010]Including Rain, the leading cast members of "The Fugitive Plan B" stand together, doing volunteer work.

All the leading cast members, 'Jung Ji Hoon'(Rain), 'Lee Na Young', 'Daniel Henney', ‘Lee Jung Jin', etc, of Korean blockbuster drama series "The Fugitive Plan B", have decided to hit it off really well and engage in charity work before the drama is over.

Since there are only a couple more days until the end of the drama, emptiness is overcoming the members who have striven to shoot the drama over the past 5 months, so they have decided to have a meeting regularly.

In particular, they all heartily agree with what Rain says, "Combining a meeting with doing some good things such as handing foods around poor people or visiting orphanages, makes no vacancies."

The drama officials expressed, "Each of them has become more than a friend to each other as the drama has been filmed on location abroad for 3 months. All of them, including 'Jung Ji Hoon', are very busy with their own activities and sometimes it can be hard to spend some time with each other, but I think they have decided to take this opportunity to promote friendship between them, doing something good."

Meanwhile, as the drama has demonstrated surprising grit before the end of it, rating for it (by Nielsen Media Research) has increased continuously.

A deal between enemies to cooperate for a common purpose has raised the tension in the KBS2 drama “The Fugitive: Plan B.”

In the November 3 episode, Nakamura (Sung Dong-il), a teacher of private investigator Ji-woo (Rain), finds out the identity of Mi-jin (Yoon Sohn-ha) and her boss Yang Doo-hee (Song Jae-ho) and what they are seeking -- gold bullions. He goes to meet Mi-jin and suggests a deal to work with him since he has all the information Ji-woo has gathered. He says that puzzling it out with what she knows about the gold will enable them to get it in their hands.

Mi-jin asks Nakamura whose side he is on, and he answers that he takes side with whoever has more money in an attempt to show he is not trying to set her up. Agreeing to the deal, she asks him to decipher some codes, and he succeeds in finding out where the gold is.

Mi-jin then orders her men to get rid of him since she no longer needs him. But police detective Do-soo (Lee Jung-jin) appears and arrests them.

Meanwhile, Doo-hee also instructs his men to get rid of Mi-jin after learning that she has found the gold, saying that she will be a menace to him since she is smart and at the same time greedy.

Rain's escape scene in the 8th episode of 'The Fugitive Plan B' ended with a real cliffhanger. Its audiences' getting engrossed in the drama and its dynamic plot line are coming to a climax.

In this situation where 'Ji Woo' (Rain) arrested by 'Do Soo' (Lee Jung Jin) was fitted up by the police more than ever, his actions were prodigious in terms of getting out of the crisis.

Its audiences are unstinting in their praise of the perfect act of Rain who plays the role of 'Ji Woo', an excellent private detective with a delightful dry sense of humour, in this drama without a flaw.

In the 8th episode of KBS 2TV's drama 'The Fugitive Plan B' on October 21th, 'Ji Woo' was seen starting working on that in earnest when he found out the crime of the murder of Jinny's family members was added to him.

'Ji Woo' was arrested for murdering his fellow Kevin (O Ji Ho), and 'Do Soo' was in a state of euphoria after he caught 'Ji Woo', but he was devastated because he was now in a situation where there was absolutely no need for him to interrogate 'Ji Woo'.

The fact is this, the evidence to the disadvantage of 'Ji Woo' fabricated by a band of Megideck, was delivered even to the police.

'Ji Woo' was to be sentenced to death for murder and for soliciting to murder in the first degree by the strong evidence that shows he committed the crime, while he found that there was no way to reverse the situation.

When 'Ji Woo' found that he faced with a big crisis and the crime of the murder of Jinny's family members was added to him, he built his reputation as an excellent private detective.

After meeting with Jinny (Lee Na Young), 'Ji Woo' tried to get to the truth of this incident, figuring out what was going on ground him, meanwhile, he was watching for an opportunity to escape without his hand cuffs, using materials at hand from the police.

Even with the crisis, 'Ji Woo' never hesitated to be humorous. In particular, even in the difficult situation where 'Ji Woo' was arrested by 'Do Soo', 'Ji Woo' was humorously seen presenting himself as the love consultant for both 'Do Soo' and detective 'Yun' (Yun Jin Seo), which made the audiences laugh. As such, Rain's natural acting style veering between seriousness and lightness, was particularly outstanding.

At the end of the broadcast, 'Ji Woo' gave 'Do Soo' a hint which could provide the key to the solution of the incident, saying, "If you look for something, come to see me." But, 'Do Soo' who was sure that 'Ji Woo' must be sentenced to death, let it go in one ear and out the other.

However, 'Ji Woo' succeeded in unlocking his handcuffs at the last scene of the episode, which spurs him to take action himself soon, and gives the story dramatic tension.

Rain's acting got two thumbs-up from the audiences through the drama's official website after the broadcast,

"Rain's act was a smash hit " "There isn't anybody else to do such a performance except Rain" "Rain perfectly put on an inspired performance as if he were just Ji Woo".

Arriving at work this morning, I saw 'The Fugitive Plan B' being filmed in front of our office in Publishing Complex. They are still shooting it..World star Rain is there. They asked us not to take pictures, so I sneaked shots in our office.~

In the pictures, Rain is the one in the white tank top..You can't see well?

Isn't it amazing that in the last shot, a mass of Rain's middle aged Japanese women fans are there to see him?

It's really amazing to me that they have come from a distant place such as Japan to only see Rain shooting the drama.~

While there have been so many retakes, I think he does not feel very cold even if he may have to wear a tank top the whole time he is there, because the weather is warm for the time of year.~

Ah~ I can't seem to get anything done? ㅎㅎㅎ

'The Fugitive Plan B' caused a sensation for the simple reason of Rain's appearance on the drama in itself, has been at its highest position ever recorded. He's lived up to his name 'World Star' in the drama, displaying the realistic actions he has been polishing in hollywood to the fullest.

The drama's popularity is the result of its unique subject of a vast, shadowy conspiracy surrounding an international private detective and his client, neither of which is love affair viewers have had enough of or monotonous romance.

One key to its popularity is the fine comic lines that make people laugh, written by dramatist 'Chun Sung Il' around with trenchant, thoughtful ideas, including the chase scenes while the exotic scenery is unfolding across Asia, Japan, China, Macau, the Philippines, etc.
