The sudden cancellation of ‘What is Mom‘ angered both the staff members and fans.

One of the members of the costume team took to Twitter to tweet, “We’re getting shut down? Getting shut down? After you pretended we were just taking a break from filming? I’m not just shocked, I’m cursing! Our team mood was so good! I heard rumors, but I doubted that it was true. And now we’re getting shut down. I haven’t even been told yet. Our director is also a victim. I don’t know about everyone, but most of the actors don’t know neither. This was all a one-sided decision from MBC.”

One of the representatives from the actors’ side said, “We just heard the news today. We told the actors and they just took it quietly, but we are still shocked. We refused all other projects and focused on ‘What is Mom’, but this happened so we’re in shock.”

It is not just the staff members that are angry at the sudden cancellation, but the fans as well. Fans ofINFINITE‘s L said, “If they were going to cancel the show, they should have done it early on instead of dragging it out“, “I was hoping to see L until April of next year, but what’s this?“, and “I’m so mad at MBC right now“.

The cancellation of the sitcom came to be because the sitcom was moved from its usual time slot of 7:45 PM KST to 8:50 PM KST, dropping its ratings down to barely 5%. The last episode of ‘What is Mom’ will air on the 17th.

INFINITE L uploaded photos of Sungjong through twitter. On the photos, he is standing next to a bear and appears small. On his caption, he claims that he's cuter than the bear.

He wrote, "Even if you're small, you're cuter","Even if you pat it, you're cuter."

However, seems like Jungryul doesn't agree? On his photo, he wrote, "Even if you're small, the bear is cuter".

On which side are you?

Will Infinite’s L be taking another challenge with acting again.

According to a broadcast representative, Infinite’s L is a strong candidate to be casted in MBC’s daily sitcom, ‘Just What is Mom’ (tentative name).

L showed an enthusiastic performance through his role as Lee Hyunsoo, who had chic charms and was in charge of the second guitar in tvN’s ‘Shut Up! Flower Boy Band’ in January.

Also, Kim Byungman received the request of being casted in ‘Just What is Mom’ and is in the middle of reviewing his role positively, and it has also been informed that Goo Jamyung is a strong candidate to be casted as well, garnering anticipation.

Meanwhile, MBC’s sitcom, ‘Just What is Mom’ will be the follow-up production for ‘Standby’ and will be airing its first episode on October 8th.

Infinite's L burst into tears after reading a letter from his mother.

L, who saw his mother for the first time after a long time during the most recent recording of KBS's 'Birth of a Family,' turned the whole film set into a sea of tears.

L met his mother when she and Dongwoo's mother went to Infinite's dorm to make rice cake soup to celebrate the new year.

However, L and Dongwoo greeted their mothers quite differently. Being the youngest at home, Dongwoo acts cute, but L is the oldest at home and showed a different reaction to his mother.

Dongwoo did not hesitate to give his mother a kiss on the cheek once he saw her, while L was more reserved towards his mother whose disappointment could be seen in her expression.

However, L suddenly burst into tears after reading a letter his mother wrote, causing his mother, the other members, and even the staff to tear up.

You can see L bursting into tears from his mother's letter on "Birth of a Family" at 5:05 on the 14th.
