[News] Mnet to Air Hallyu Dream Concert
Mnet M Countdown has tweeted their performance list, however, the usual show will be missing in action this week. What is a music lover to do? Don’t “Keep Your Head Down”, say “Hello” to the Hallyu Dream Concert 2011! The cable network, Mnet, will air footage from the hottest music show to kick off the Autumn season in place of its usual M Countdown. I’m sure the winner for this week’s “Song Of the Week” will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, let’s see if your favorite idols made the tweeted setlist below:
“2011.10.06 2011… Hallyu Dream Concert Gilhakmi, Kim Geon Mo, Kim Bo Kyung,TVXQ, miss A, Beast, SHINee, Seo In Guk, Se7en, SNSD, Secret, SISTAR, IU, A pink, MBLAQ, GD&TOP (Big Bang’s G-dragon and Top), 2PM, T-ara, 4minute, MC Park Shin Hye, MC Taec Yeon, MC Min Ho October 6 at 6PM [KST]. Mnet”
The MCs of the night were “Heartstrings” star Park Shin Hye, 2PM’s Taec Yeon, and SHINee’s Choi Min Ho. They joined many of the hottest idols in K-Pop today for a pure day of fun on Korea’s birthday [October 3]. However, there could be a possibility the television broadcast by Mnet may only focus on the music, rather than the hosts. Nonetheless, many hit singles from 2011, will appear right before fans very eyes in a broadcast that will be just as spectacular as the original live show.
Here are some of the songs to look forward to:
SHINee (members Key and Tae Min pictured above) - Lucifer
DBSK (also known as TVXQ) – Keep Your Head Down
SNSD – Hoot
2PM – Put Your Hands Up
T-ara – Roly Poly
Miss A – Goodbye Baby
4Minute- Mirror Mirror
G-dragon and TOP – Oh Yeah
SISTAR – So Cool
MBLAQ - Mona Lisa
The singles above and many more were performed by the artists at this year’s Hallyu Dream Concert. Tune in at 6PM [Korean Standard Time] on Mnet to enjoy the show.
