One of the most successful entertainment industries in South Korea, Cube Entertainment, reached its arms to hold an audition in Los Angeles.

Earlier today, the agency behind the famous artists and groups like BEAST, 4-minute, BTOB, A-Pink, G.NA, Huh Gak and Roh JiHoon releases the official audition poster "2013 Cube Star Audition in LA".

Roh JiHoon has shown his support for ‘The Birth of a Great Star 3″.

On the 24th January, Roh JiHoon wrote on his own twitter, “That was during my first broadcast.. Though few years have already passed, I’m still nervous just by looking at this picture. ‘The Birth of a Great Star 3′! Will finally be broadcast tomorrow! Hwaiting”, along with a picture of himself during ‘Birth Star’.

Meanwhile, MBC ‘Birth Star 3′ will have its first broadcast on the 25th January at 10PM.

Cube Entertainment’s artists B2ST, 4minute, G.Na, BTOB and Roh Ji Hoon have come together to send a special shout out for the upcoming United Cube concert.

Titled ‘2013 United Cube in Seoul’, the concert will be taking place at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on February 2nd. All Cube Entertainment artists expressed their excitement and promised to put on a grand show and amazing performances for the fans.

Mnet’s “M! Countdown” is back this week full of amazing performances!

The Christmas special of the show aired on December 20th, featured a handful of special performances from INFINITE H (Dongwoo and Hoya), f(x) and Starship Planet (K.Will, SISTAR’s Soyou, Boyfriend’s Jeongmin). In addition, Sunny Hill made its comeback with new title track, “Goodbye To Romance. ”

Other performers tonight included Shin HyeSung , Nell, Yang YoSeob, Kim Sunggyu, Dal★shabet, Roh JiHoon, SPICA, Ailee, Hello Venus, Hi.ni, EXCITE and The SEEYA.

Singer Roh JiHoon has prepared for a special Christmas present.

On the 14th, agency, Cube Entertainment has revealed a Christmas special event on  their official twitter, titled ‘Oh! Carol with Roh JiHoon’.

At 4PM on this day, Roh JiHoon has performed a live stage in front of Cube Cafe for fans who came.
According to a representative of Cube Entertainment, Roh JiHoon has stripped off his image as a strong dance singer, and sang an acoustic version of carols, winter love songs and more, grabbing fans’ hearts.

Meanwhile, Roh JiHoon has debuted with ‘Being Punished’ last month, and has been grabbing attention as the next male soloist in the music industry.

4minute, BEAST and many more singers signed under Cube Entertainment will be organizing their 2nd  ’United Cube Concert’ in Korea, China and Japan next year.

On the 3rd, according to Cube Entertainment, ‘United Cube Concert’ will be putting on an even more glamorous stage which includes 4minute, BEAST, G.NA, as well as BTOB and Roh JiHoon who debuted this year. Following requests from different countries, Cube Entertainment will be pushing forward the expected plan for the concert.

United Cube Concert will be held firstly in China on the 26th January 2013, followed by Seoul on February 2nd, and in Japan on the 21st February.


Previously, ‘United Cube Concert’ was kicked start in August last year in Seoul, and had even attracted 10,000 fans in Japan concert. Cube Entertainment artists then invaded England and Brazil, becoming a leader in spreading the K-POP wave.

Top Korean artists from major talent agency Cube Entertainment will take their joint concert overseas early next year!

Cube Entertainment announced that they will hold the ‘UNITED CUBE CONCERT’ in Nanjing, China on January 26, 2013 following their shows in Seoul on August 14 on February 2nd, and Yokohama, Japan on February 21.

Featuring 4minute, BEAST, G.NA, BTOB and rookie Roh Ji Hoon, the ‘UNITED CUBE CONCERT’ first kicked off in 2011 which toured from South Korea to Japan and England. The Cube Family will once again join their hands to bring an upgraded and exciting performance for the fans.

To Roh JiHoon, MBC ‘Birth Star’ was his last chance. When he gave up the path to be a soccer player just to be a singer, he cleaned up the band practice room and even continued to practice despite being burnt by coffee. He even went to universities around, works on stages to gain more experience as a singer.

Roh JiHoon “I started these life around 2 years ago. I was 21 years old, which was considered old then (to be debuted as a singer). When I felt that ‘my (opportunity) has ended’ I saw ‘Birth of a Great Star’. With a thought of ‘if this can’t do it, then there won’t be any (chance)’, and tried my last challenge. On ‘Birth Star’, I didn’t think of not being able to make it. I desperately needed it”, as he recalled his memories.


So he went to Birth Star just like that and was lucky enough to be Bang ShiHyuk’s mentee. Soon enough, he went on live broadcast stages, and received recognition for his singing talents, and was even the TOP8 as he carries all elements (Singing, Performance, and Visual) altogether, and was eyed most by the public.

After ‘Birth Star’, he signed on with Cube Entertainment that houses BEAST, 4minute, G.NA, and BTOB. Many are sure of his solid talents, but Roh JiHoon unexpectedly went hidden for a year and 6 months. ‘Birth Star’ is now in the midst of broadcasting its 3rd season. After a year and six months, Roh JiHoon finally went public with the release of his debut album.

“That was because I was tied up in the company. They gave me guidance for this one year and six months. They really grown me harshly. Now that I think of it, I’m so grateful to them. That time, I wasn’t able to speak. I even thought that I won’t be debuting like now too”, he revealed.

He then followed by, “But our representative-nim trained me strictly,” and laughed. He revealed, “When I first enter the company and went for a meeting, he said ‘let’s (debut) within this year. Or by latest, January next year’. He emphasized a lot on the word ‘by latest’. He said to me then, ‘I will let you be 100% completed. After 60% has been done, I will let you stand on the stage and gain experience, so that you’ll be 100% complete’, he said.”

Roh JiHoon continued, “He said like that, and even said that the latest would be on January. ‘Till then, do to your best’, then he said  ’It’s still a little lacking, work more on it. You’ll debut in May’. So I took the criticism and practiced. When it was May, he asked me to try harder again. He kept pushing the date back,” he explained.

“Representative-nim is a bad guy. He kept me training. When I felt that I was complete, there were times he would say ‘are you sure?’, and on some days, he would smile at me and speak in a soft tone, ‘JiHoon-ah, I love you’. (But) the delaying isn’t a joke,” he said, while laughing.

After a long wait, Roh JiHoon debuted with title song ‘Being Punished’. The soft and gentle image during ‘Birth Star’ was stripped away and Roh JiHoon transformed into a bad guy, where he even showcased his belt dance, putting on a daring performance.

“Although I went on my first stage trembling a lot, I’m calmer now. There were lots of people and cameras looking at me. After this period of a year and 6 months, I’m worried about standing on such a big stage. But I think I’ve overcome it well. The stage is fun,” expressing his thoughts.

‘Magnet Man’ is not called for nothing.

When he stands on the glamorous stage, he has managed to put a curse on females’ heart with his deathly homme fatale charms. But when he’s offstage, Roh JiHoon (23) goes back to his simple and innocent side of his.

Through MBC ‘Birth Star’, Roh JiHoon who has received remarks about the possibility to stardom, is to return fully now. Recently, he has released debut album “The Next Big Thing’, and has started promotions for his title song ‘Being Punished’.

After his previous audition, Roh JiHoon has signed with Cube Entertainment that houses BEAST, 4minute and many other more artists, and had undergone a year and 6 months of systematic training.  Not only he has trained his singing and dancing capabilities, he has also become a specialist(?) for his own visuals.

★Solo Singer★ 
Recently idol groups have been the center of attention, and there aren’t many comparable male dance soloist. Roh JiHoon has therefore received attention for emerging from the dry male dance soloist market.

“To be able to be compared with Rain senior-nim, it’s my glory. As we compare, I felt that it’s not only a target, but to become an exposed as a singer like him, so that one day I could exceed him.”

‘Natural born dancers’, ‘Overwhelming stage charms’, ‘Sexy charisma that capture hearts’ and more. Representatives of male dance soloists, Yoo SeungJun, Rain, and Seven has shown similar image on stage.

Towards the ‘difference’ that the public wants, Roh JiHoon said, “Whatever they want, I will do so, whatever it is, I will suit to it well, so that I can show my unlimited potential. With a different charm every time, I will show a better self on stage,” expressing his aspiration as a rookie singer.


★Dance★ 
On the 7th, where Roh JiHoon held his showcase, he revealed that he “practiced for 7 hours a day, just for dance practices”, and has shown those sweat and effort on stage then.

“I’m not a born dancer. I think it’s the effort through my practices. Probably because I’m more confident on my singing than dancing, so I focused more on dance practices. Other than my sleeping time, it’s like I’m always dancing.”

★Singing★ 
Last week, on various music programs, Roh JiHoon who brought out his debut stage, ‘Being Punished’, has shown a maturer vocal and stabler skills as compared to his ‘Birth Star’ days, which allows him to gain attention.

“When I first entered the company, I’ve taken some videos. As I compared them now, it’s like a difference of sky and land. It seems like (singing capibilities) has really grown. I only sing songs that are soft then. Now, it seems like I can do different type of expressions to express my feelings.”

“As the nature of a dance soloist, I couldn’t show my singing capabilities to the maximum, and I regret over it. I’m still carrying it with me, someday I will blow you away with a different type of weapon.”

★Visual★ 
When he appeared on “Birth Star’, he was noticed for his height, schoolboy image that attracted older female fans. Now, with his ‘sexiness’, ‘Homme Fatale’, he has become a more manly man.

“That’s thanks to staffs around me. Haha. Actually, I will show you my charms other than my face, or my height.

Roh JiHoon has called ‘Magnet Man’. With his consistent workouts and proportionate body, manly visuals together with his eyesmiles, it does attract female fans for sure.

“At first, I wasn’t familiar with this ‘Magnet Man’ name, but I liked it now. “


★Bad Guy★ 
The concept to Noh JiHoon is to be a ‘bad guy’.

After betraying his beloved girlfriend, he felt the pain and therefore, is ‘Being Punished’ like in his title track. Through his mockumentary, Roh JiHoon has been recognized as the ‘bad guy’ by the public.

“Firstly when I  heard about the ‘Bad Guy’ concept, my heart went ‘…’ . I was worried if I could present this concept well.”

“In reality, I think I have both bad guy and good guy traits in me. I have a slightly cold side, which I always heard about myself. As contrast, I become a good guy when I appear comfortably while smiling. Haha”

★Dreams★ 
Towards question ‘Heart-moving songs?’, most artists would reply ballads, soul type of songs. But Roh JiHoon has a slightly different perception.

“Are dance songs not able to move people? I don’t think so. Dance or ballad, I think I can move hearts and I want to do that type of music. Those who see my stage, I want them to hear them saying like, ‘Roh JiHoon sings the song passionately’ “

“Honestly, I have ‘I will be great’ greed, but that’s slightly not the fact. I’ve thought about #1 on music programs, music sites. I want people to listen to my song, and be happy with it, and to be a singer that moves hearts”

Good looking participant of MBC ‘Birth Star’, Roh JiHoon has made his debut. Roh JiHoon had received good remarks on his visual, singing and performance capability during his Birth Star times.

Roh JiHoon who managed to reached to the TOP8 spot was unfortunately eliminated due to his bad condition as he sang out of tune. During that stage, Roh JiHoon chose Se7en’s ‘Come Please’ and even performed it on a pair of wheeled shoes.


It has been one and a half year since then, but Roh JiHoon’s memories of that day remains fresh. Roh JiHoon laughed, “Those shoes are still in my house and is handled carefully”. During his last stage, Roh JiHoon made a mistake of singing at the wrong tune. He expressed, “Manager-hyung too gave me that video. I watched it and I heard the swiping of a stroke from the nation. I thought I was going to die then.”

“After that solo stage, there was another group stage following after. It seems like everyone were looking at me. As I thought like so, I felt dizzy. Portal sites had ‘Roh JiHoon out of tune” was on real time search,” he recalled.

“You might have trauma”, following after the reporter’s words, Roh JiHoon continued, “It was the truth. The stage this time round too. I’m really burdened by it. Not other aspect, but thinking that if I were to sing out of tune again, this will be the end.” It was my first broadcast, but I do it again… that really stresses me out,” he confessed.

He then revealed that, “People will also think that I’m the joke for the day, so I would have thoughts saying ‘Don’t sing out of tune today’. That’s really a burden to me too. I tried to smile, but in within, I was really nervous. “

But Roh JiHoon continued, “But it’s okay. I don’t want to hide it. It can only look bad if I hide it. The future is more important”, he smiled.

Roh JiHoon who has been hiding for a year and 6 months after Birth Star, has felt a significant change. Not only a rookie singer’s aspiration was felt, but also that amateur feel during the auditions was completely stripped off. He carries his confidence, but dropped the greed.

“I have thoughts of if I make it well, and if I don’t. In fact, I really thought that ‘I will for sure be great. I will get #1′ before.  But I’m still stuck at this level, it seems like I can’t be higher than this yet. ‘Do it comfortably and have fun. Just perform like you used to practice. Perform more amazingly and not to have greed’, I’m thinking like this now.”

Roh JiHoon has talked about him being the bad guy in his title track, ‘Being Punished’. To be exact, there were contents where he talks about girls that are worse than bad guys. To Roh JiHoon, what’s a ‘Bad Guy’.

Bad Guy, Amazing Man At First

There isn’t a bad guy from the start. Because of this, in reality, the possibility of a good guy at first is high. They become bad only when frustration and betrayal are felt. So, he could be a good man now, and might be a bad guy someday.

“Bad guys understand the girls well. He understands the mentality of girls. He knows everything about what she likes and what she dislikes. In particular, he’s a guy who understands well which side of his to show to girls. When he sees a girl, he will show a side different from his life. Those are the warnings.”

Till here, they are still the good guys. Especially, when they love that girl, then he  is a good guy.

“Bad guys are good at presentation.They constantly use lovely words and say sweet things to her. He would tell the girl that he loves only her.”


Love Myself More Than You

 The real colors of a bad guy starts to show. Understanding himself more than anyone else, he will start showing a personality where he loves only himself.

“To bad guys, love isn’t the first priority. If there’s anything that needed to be focused on, then he’ll push love away. I think I’m that type of bad guys myself. As I started my ‘Birth Star’ period, I did not contact my friend that I was meeting often. In the end, we broke up, of course. As I enter the entertainment agency, and preparing for my debut, I’ve changed my number. I’ve deleted the contact of that person who used to call me. This is because work is even more important that anyone else.”

Bad Guy’s prioritize themselves first, whether for work or another similar reasons. In this part, the bad guy has shown his coldness. There won’t be any calls (to her) at a later date.


Excuse of a Bad Guy 

Bad guys are not born bad guys. It’s just that they place themselves over love, and they clearly have their own reasons or background to it.

“When I was in my third year of middle school, I dated a girlfriend for the first time. We were both young back then, and innocent as well, so it seems like we loved it. When we graduated, she frequently tried to find reasons to delay our  promises. I didn’t suspect anything then, but later found out by mistake that she was deciding between me and another guy. I went to meet my girlfriend, he went as well. I asked for a break up coolly  and I cried for one whole month. In the end, she dated him.”

When he couldn’t trust anyone 100%, he learns how to hide his true and sincere feelings. It may be just a lie, but for a bad guy, that one is enough to turn him into a bad guy.


But even then, he couldn’t live without love

Despite that, bad guys are still attracted to girls. Because the previous mentioned man wants to be an amazing man too.

“Actually, I’m still lacking in this type of experience, and it seems like I couldn’t be a bad guy yet. Even then, as I’m preparing for this song, I did many image training. I thought of showing charms of a bad guy. That charms will be something that I want to show through this song. What I can say by myself, I don’t easily meet people.”

Roh JiHoon’s looks or the person himself is a person who is filled with manner, and his obvious self-confidence will definitely attract the opposite sex. About this man, it would be either that ‘his works above love’ or ‘I don’t meet people easily’. He would either want to be seen as a bad guy, or is really a bad guy. Well, when you realize which category he falls into, you have already fallen in love with him.

Warm look and pleasant personality, together with his eloquence, Roh JiHoon who debuted on an audition program has met up with us at a cafe.

After MBC ‘Birth Star Season 1′, Roh JiHoon debuted with album, ‘The Next Big Thing’ after undergoing a year and 6 months of training. As he shines while standing on various stages, Roh JiHoon spent these busy days without sleep.

“Reality has yet to hit me. My feelings were like the previous comfortable feels. Not long ago, in the first broadcast after my showcase, I’ve came to the waiting room, and met lots of seniors, I stood there, and thought, ‘So I’m really in this industry already’ “

” I never thought of dancing the belt dance in ‘Being Punished’. It was a dance by my clever dance teacher that it is to be the point of the choreograph, but the original name wasn’t belt dance, but ‘meeting friends dance’. I heard that if you’re in a club, you’ll see lots of people holding their belts and dancing” (laughs)


“When I was young, I was into sports, so I’m quite observant, it seems easier to get into the society. Since then, I always think about the worst case scenarios and have a habit of mind controlling myself. I’ve thought about the worst debut it can turn out. I knew I was going to bear the burden of being a new rookie.”

“I will work hard for a different type of stage. I will show my very own style.”

I’m a Casanova? (X)
I’m not. Just in the mockumentary.

I’ve seen a girl cried before? (O)
I did….did..

I went out from the dorm before? (O)
Isn’t it something that everyone want to do? Before the debut decision was made, I practiced repeatedly. I was tired, so I went out once. After that, I rarely did it again. I will return after a few hours (laughs). So, I was almost thrown out by the company. In fact, I was prepared to leave. At that time, my only time was for practicing. More than one year of practice, I’ve became worried of me just practicing… It seems harder in every way.

I’m a Bad Guy? (O)
If I were to say it now, then it’s an ‘O’. Prior to the release of my album, then it would be ‘X’. I will be a ‘Bad Guy’ as long as I’m promoting my ‘Bad Guy’ (concept). Actually, I think about my act when I’m on stage. I’ve watched Rain-senior, Se7en-senior’s videos and research about it. Practicing my expressions on the mirror is my secret.

I have thought about ‘Being Punished’ in a relationship? (O) 
It happens before. Who wouldn’t? But I’m a better bad guy when I’m in a relationship.

I broke up with girls more than receiving break ups from them? (O) 
The difference between guys is that they see it as an etiquette to girls. (And then) Wait (laughs) But that isn’t me.

I attract elder females? (O)
Age is just a number. It doesn’t matter if her age is much more than me. Especially if she’s pretty? (laughs). That’s a joke. I don’t look at looks. I look at her heart. I like a sweet and innocent person. I like it when she manages herself well, and does well in her job. I’m attracted to people whom I can learn from.

I like shorter girls? (△) 
It doesn’t matter with height.

I like long-haired girls? (△) 
This is a triangle too (laughs). I like those whose hairstyle suits herself.

I look at blood types when I date? (O)
Personally, I like AB blood types. I like all though (laughs) but AB-blood typed are the best suit for me. I’m an AB too, so I can understand it. Not because AB types are special.

I’m Special? (O) 
I’m different from everyone else. It seems like my thoughts are different too. Since young, as I wanted to know how hot it is, I touched the boiling stew with my fingers. I’ve even tried to open the doors in a moving car.

I have many fans in their 10s? (X) 
I have more 30-40 fans. They really treat me like their sons, and gave good care of me, so I’m grateful to them. Lately when I see fans in their 10s coming to meet me at my events, I really felt happy.

Never. I’m a good guy when I’m in a relationship. Caring, nice and remembers every anniversary dates (laughs). Previously, when I date, I had candle event and even held 100 roses waiting in front of the school. If I were to date in the future, I would hold a bear, sing and dance for her.

When I was young, as I exercise, I had to be observant. I’ve learnt my observant skills from sports. The life of a group of men….

I said I hope to exceed him. I love Rain-senior (laughs).

I feel burdensome with my sexy charms? (X) 
I don’t feel burdensome. I don’t have other charms that I can show. It seems that my sexiness is my main charm.

I look alike like K.Will? (O)
It was asked previously, only then I knew about it. Especially when I meet K.Will senior on broadcast programs, then we were laughing with each other. Although I do think that we looked the same last time too, but I didn’t know it would to this extent. I was shocked looking at the real person.

I have my secret weapon? (O) 
My confidence. And I think my superior genes my parents gave to me too. Personality, and height? (laughs). I don’t give up easily. I’m like weeds, the more you step, the more I grow. I love to challenge.

‘Bad Guy’ Roh JiHoon has launched his attack in the entertainment industry.

“Of course I’m excited that I made my debut. But it seems shameless to call it excited, (because) in fact, it is the same (laughs). Predebut life was exactly the same too. It’s (actually) easier than going on stage. As I’ve debut, I am able to show my music, that’s the thing I like about it.”


Speaking calmly about his thoughts of ‘exactly the same’ debut, Roh JiHoon confessed that he actually trembled a lot before performing on his very first stage. “If I said I wasn’t nervous at all, that would be a lie”, shyly letting out a smile. He continued, “I wasn’t nervous on my first showcase stage, but I really trembled on my first broadcast the next day”, and “My legs were trembling very bad.”

In fact, ‘Bad Guy’ was a concept that he wanted to try out as a male soloist. Perhaps to some, it may seem to be unsurprising, but it was a concept that brings out Roh JiHoon’s very own charms as a Homme Fatale character.

“Usually, I would listen to words saying that I have a poker face. I want to show a calm yet strong, another different type of bad guy. I don’t know either, but to me, it seems like it’s within me. Please do look forward to my bad guy’s look that I have never realized either.”

When he smiles modestly, as compared to his bad guy look, his half-moon eye smile shows an good guy instead. However, towards the question, “when was the last relationship?”, Eoh JiHoon replied, “When was I in a relationship?”, he hesitate, “It’s fine if I give a shameless answer too? What is a (love) relationship?”, Roh JiHoon who asked instead, showing his pride as a ‘Bad Guy’.


Although he is a bad guy, Roh JiHoon has expectations to show a sweet transformation.

“When I first received a concept as a bad guy, I thought to myself hopelessly, ‘Ah, What to do…’ (laughs). I only know how to be a sweet guy. As I look at my image now… I am thankful to my company. But until now, I still want to show a lovable look (laughs). When I do a ‘Hug’ on stage, wasn’t the reaction great?”

During the showcase, Roh JiHoon who commented in hopes to ‘exceed Rain-senior regardless how many years it will take’, has received attention for showing such ‘confidence’. It seems taht his overflowing confidence will allow him to overcome difficulties in the future.

“Roh JiHoon is a person who has high confidence level, passion, ambition as well as an optimistic person. Although having good looks, if you look deeper, my charms are there too (laughs), the more you see it, the more charms will show. Also, my tall height, thanks to my parents for, and shamelessness? (laughs). I manage myself well too. I’m maintaning my body fat percentage within 10% too. Since I love sports, I worked out and played badminton everyday too.”

Ever since Rain and Se7en, the entertainment industry which is lacking of male dance soloist, will have to pay attention to a new wave, Roh JiHoon.

“I want to be an artist who can be recognized for his performance and singing skills. On the other hand, anticipation towards myself brings burden. What more should I say? I will show you through my stages.”

I went out from the dorm before? (O)

Isn’t it something that everyone want to do? Before the debut decision was made, I practiced repeatedly. I was tired, so I went out once. After that, I rarely did it again. I will return after a few hours (laughs). So, I was almost thrown out by the company. In fact, I was prepared to leave. At that time, my only time was for practicing. More than one year of practice, I’ve became worried of me just practicing… It seems harder in every way.

I’m a Bad Guy? (O)

If I were to say it now, then it’s an ‘O’. Prior to the release of my album, then it would be ‘X’. I will be a ‘Bad Guy’ as long as I’m promoting my ‘Bad Guy’ (concept). Actually, I think about my act when I’m on stage. I’ve watched Rain-senior, Se7en-senior’s videos and research about it. Practicing my expressions on the mirror is my secret.
I have thought about ‘Being Punished’ in a relationship? (O)

It happens before. Who wouldn’t? But I’m a better bad guy when I’m in a relationship.

I broke up with girls more than receiving break ups from them? (O)

The difference between guys is that they see it as an etiquette to girls. (And then) Wait (laughs) But that isn’t me.

I attract elder females? (O)

Age is just a number. It doesn’t matter if her age is much more than me. Especially if she’s pretty? (laughs). That’s a joke. I don’t look at looks. I look at her heart. I like a sweet and innocent person. I like it when she manages herself well, and does well in her job. I’m attracted to people whom I can learn from.

I like shorter girls? (△)

It doesn’t matter with height.

I like long-haired girls? (△)

This is a triangle too (laughs). I like those whose hairstyle suits herself.



I look at blood types when I date? (O)

Personally, I like AB blood types. I like all though (laughs) but AB-blood typed are the best suit for me. I’m an AB too, so I can understand it. Not because AB types are special.

I’m Special? (O)

I’m different from everyone else. It seems like my thoughts are different too. Since young, as I wanted to know how hot it is, I touched the boiling stew with my fingers. I’ve even tried to open the doors in a moving car.
I have many fans in their 10s? (X)

I have more 30-40 fans. They really treat me like their sons, and gave good care of me, so I’m grateful to them. Lately when I see fans in their 10s coming to meet me at my events, I really felt happy.

I’m a bad guy when I’m in a relationship? (X)

Never. I’m a good guy when I’m in a relationship. Caring, nice and remembers every anniversary dates (laughs). Previously, when I date, I had candle event and even held 100 roses waiting in front of the school. If I were to date in the future, I would hold a bear, sing and dance for her.

When I was young, as I exercise, I had to be observant. I’ve learnt my observant skills from sports. The life of a group of men….

I don’t feel burdensome. I don’t have other charms that I can show. It seems that my sexiness is my main charm.

It was asked previously, only then I knew about it. Especially when I meet K.Will senior on broadcast programs, then we were laughing with each other. Although I do think that we looked the same last time too, but I didn’t know it would to this extent. I was shocked looking at the real person.

It has been 10 years since Rain and Seven’s emergence into the entertainment industry. However, ever since then, it seems that male dance soloist no longer appear. A significant number of those talented are promoting as members of boy groups, and the existence of male soloist seems to dies down.

Standing at a height of 186cm, Roh JiHoon, along with his handsomeness, is set to enter into the ‘dead’ male soloist market. Previous year, Roh JiHoon has received remarks as the contestant with the most star quality in MBC ‘Birth Star’. He even gained the attention of Cube Entertainment’s Representative Hong SeungSong, who coincidentally discovered Rain, and has now become an ambitious rookie singer.

His title song, “Being Punished” talks about a bad boy’s regrets after he broke up with his girlfriend. During ‘Birth Of The Great Star’, Roh JiHoon who was introduced as a former soccer player tried his luck to be a singer, has finally appeared as a bad boy with a smirk after a year and 6 months, realizing his dreams as a singer.


“During my first stage, I was so nervous, and even became nauseous. But I felt better starting on the second part. I just performed as I did in the practice room. Since I’m a goal keeper since young, I have a stronger (calmer) heart. My expressions on stage though, are still lacking. While I’m on stage, I should smile more, so I regretted it.”

After ending the auditions, Roh JiHoon has signed on a contract with Cube Entertainment, and had received vocal lessons, dance and basic training all over again. To start at basic, a training period of a year and six months seems to be 10 years to  him.

“It’s like I’ve been completely formatted. But I do like learning about languages and acting skills. I love things that are challenging. I’ve even learned ways on how to manage myself. Also, I’ve learned that it’s not easy to stand on the stage, (therefore) the stage is precious.”

Most of his singer friends have debuted as a group, he, however, has captured the opportunity to go solo. Other than his visuals, Roh JiHoon could do everything from dancing to singing, carrying along high ambitions with him.

“I like working hard alone like a Spartian. With a goal to be a world star within 10 years, I will try my best to be the best. My ambitions are big right? (laughs)”

His adaptation capability to wherever he goes is good. His socializing skills looks good, and his gaze goes well with it. Of course, he is highly popular among girls.

“As I listen to “Being Punished”, I have that same feeling too. I broke up with a girl who was nice with me before. My popularity? Lots, of course. (Laughs) “


As he was a sportsman, female students would search to his front door. During elementary school, two female students even fought for him.

“I like females that look good in jeans and heels. Although I would like a girl with beautiful skin and good body, her heart matters the most. (laughs) My ideal type… is Kim Yuna. (laughs)”

Working or dating, which would he choose? Roh JiHoon said that he’s in the state of ‘crazy’ working right now. It was heard that he works at least 5 hours a day in Cube Entertainment.

“When I was young, I was crazy about football. In order to pursue my singing career, after giving up on sports, I’ve practiced for more than 10 hours a day in dancing and singing. Lately I’m monitoring myself closely. When I receive good comments from everyone, it made me feel better? Haha”

Mnet’s “M! Countdown” is back this week full of amazing performances!

The November 15th episode of the show features a handful of debuts and comebacks. Thai singer Natthew and The SEEYA kicked off their debuts while Park Jung Min, Son Dambi, Dal★Shabet, B1A4, A-JAX and C-CLOWN made their respective comebacks

Roh JiHoon who made his debut through Mnet MCountdown has revealed his happy thoughts.

Roh JiHoon has spoken through a teleconversation with Osen , “I felt it is starting now” and, “I feel that I’m a blessed person. Reality hasn’t hit me yet, (and) it seems like I will realize it after watching my broadcast.”

As to commemorate the release of his debut song ‘Being Punished’, Roh JiHoon had held a showcase. He added, “Today’s stage will be different than yesterday’s” and, “It seems like I’m showing myself for the first time, and therefore I can do it well and be more focused on the stage.”
