Super Junior has occupied the champion position of Taiwanese music charts for 60 consecutive weeks, proving their position as the unbeatable group in Asia.

Even until this week (17th July - 23rd July), Super Junior's title song "Miinah" for their official 4th album comeback which was released last year, continued to dominate Taiwan's largest online music site KKBOX's Top 100 Korean Music charts. This is the 60th consecutive week of them being on top after obtaining the first position for the first time in June last year. They are also the first artist to have maintained in the champion position for the longest period of time in history, showing Super Junior's red hot popularity in Taiwan.

Aside from that, Super Junior has been sequentially releasing the photos of the members' new transformations through their official website (http://superjunior.smtown.com). They will also be making an impactful comeback with their all-new 5th full-length album on August 3rd, which is released by the group after a year and 2 months' gap. They will be presenting new music to the masses, and accordingly, Super Junior's fans all over the world are looking forward to the release of the new album.

After performing at the Yokohama Arena as part of their Super Show 3 Asia tour, popular Korean pop group Super Junior officially kicks off their Japanese activities with their third Japanese single release Bonamana.

As Super Junior will release their Japanese version CD of "Bonamana" tomorrow, their official Japanese website has been updated with new promotional pictures of them. Here you can see the boys looking good, as usual!

The CD "Bijin" will be released tomorrow, 8th June 2011. "Bijin" will be released as 2 versions; the normal version (CD only) and the CD+DVD version. Both versions will have different extra goodies, but with the same CD tracks:

Summary: South Korean popular idol group Super Junior will release their first Japanese single "Miinah(BONAMANA)" on June 8 in Japan.


Global web reporter Zhang Zhe reports that according to Korean Associated Press’ news on 26 April, popular Korean group Super Junior is slated to release a Japanese single, Bonamana on June 8.
According to reports, SM Entertainment revealed on April 26 that Super Junior’s《Beauty(BONAMANA)》is the Japanese version of the Asia-wide hit, Bonamana. Super Junior will also begin their endorsement of Japanese convenience store chain, Circle K, on May 16 before the single is released to meet with the audience. This will be closely followed by offering ringtone downloads from Japanese mobile phone site, “Recochoku” on 18 May.

The report also stated that, even though Super Junior has not officially debuted in Japan they still managed to attract 36,000 fans to the three concerts held in the Yokohama Arena in February.

After sweeping the charts with "Bonamana", Super Junior is in for a second round with their fourth album repackage. The Repackage Edition contains all 11 songs from the first release, plus 4 new tracks! Their hot new title song "No Other" is a lighthearted synth-pop dance number with hip-hop beats. The album also includes a remix version of "Shake It Up" arranged by One Way's Chance and the new songs "All My Heart" composed by Lee Teuk and Henry and "A Short Journey" written and composed by Eun Hyuk and Dong Hae.

For his final Super Junior activity before entering the military, Kang In participated in the recording for "A Short Journey" and also appears in the booklet photos.

Popular Korean idol group Super Junior’s new album took 5th place on July 20 in the Japanese Oricon Charts.



In Taiwan, Super Junior had released their signature song <> in 2009 and created a record of being first for 30 weeks in a row for the Korean/Japanese Charts. Not only did they shoot commercials for famous brands in China and Thailand, but they also drove fans crazy at the Shanghai World Expo. In 2006, Super Junior visited Japan for the first time, and the Japan Budoukan was filled to the brim. Although Super Junior’s popularity in Asia is huge, they have never officially ventured into the Japanese market. However, their album <> which was released on the 21st of July reaped huge rewards, and was honoured with the fifth place on the Japanese Charts.



The new album <> is the Japanese language version of the Korean album that was released in May 2010, and it also includes the Behind the Scenes footage of the music video filming which is not available in the original version.



Despite not having officially ventured into the Japanese music industry, they have achieved such excellent results; the popularity level of Super Junior and KPop in the present and the future will be very much anticipated.



A concert will be held in Tokyo International Forum Hall A on the 1st of August, where the amazing singers of Super Junior K.R.Y (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung) will be performing 《SUPER JUNIOR K.R.Y. SPECIAL CONCERT in JAPAN》. For Super Junior that usually focuses on dancing and choreography, the concert this time will be centered on vocals instead, bringing a fresh feel to us. Even though the number of concerts was changed from one session to two, the concert tickets were still completely sold out.

'Bonamana' or rather ' Miinah' is definitely the right song to play or to be performed for the Miss Korea event. 'Miinah' means beautiful women which definitely matches the candidates of Miss Korea as they must be absolutely pretty and beautiful.

Super Junior performed at the event and receive loud cheers from the huge crowd and it seems that they have made the event more lively with their title song.

Despite the very sad news of this being their last performance on Music Core for No Other, the boys of Super Junior gave us a very special performance. Along with 'No Other', they performed their previous popular track 'Bonamana'.

Even though Super Junior’s latest album BONAMANA was released around two months ago, the craze has yet to die down.

Asian pop superstar group Super Junior’s 4th album BONAMANA is now certified gold in the Philippines after just 10 days of release in the market. Super Junior holds the distinction of being the first, and only, K-POP artist with two gold record albums in the Philippines – first time was for theSorry Sorry album last December 2009, and now the BONAMANA album this July.

BONAMANA albums are enjoying brisk sales in record stores nationwide. In fact, it charted number one in three of the country’s biggest record retail chains simultaneously – Astroplus/Astrovision,Music One & Odyssey (album charts dated June 28 to July 4, 2010).

The album launch event entitled Finding Miina was able to reach the 1 million PHP mark (around $21,612.28 USD) in a span of hours. That’s pretty amazing, isn’t it?

Other than that, Super Junior is also the first, and only, K-Pop artist with five albums that reached number one in the country – Sorry Sorry in September 2009, Super Girl in November 2009, Super Show 2 Live Album in February 2010, Don’t Don in May 2010 and now, BONAMANA this July 2010.

The power of the ELFs in terms of supporting their favorite idol group is really admirable.

Super Junior albums are released in the Philippines by Universal Records, the first record label to release K-Pop albums in the country.

MYX Hit Chart
It may be to early so say for certain now, but One Way's "Magic" is definitely climbing up the MYX International Hit Chart.

(MYX is the most popular music television channel in the Philippines)

They even overtook the Wonder Girls, which is arguably among the top three most popular all-female Kpop groups among Filipinos (together with SNSD and 2NE1).

As of now Super Junior is still hanging on to the number one spot, though. So this is the question - Does One Way have what it takes to take Suju's crown?

It is a trend for the MYX voters to vote a certain artist's/group's video to the top of the chart, when the artist/group is scheduled to visit the country. Perhaps, it's a welcome gift of sorts.

But will the SuJu fans go with the flow? Or will they stand by their Kpop idols and try to keep them atop the chart for as long as possible?

Months after their live concert in the Philippines, Super Junior continues to top album sales and music television hit charts.

Impressive, considering the fact that there were more recent visits by other Kpop superstars like U-Kiss, Beast and 4 Minute.

Right now, SuJu's "Bonamana" is #1 on the MYX International Top 20 Chart for July 3-9, and #2 on the MYX Top 20 Hit Chart (in the no.1 spot is a local Filipino band).

Other Kpop bands that landed in the charts are:
  • Girl's Generation - "Neon Lights" - #16 on the MYX Hit Chart
*** Just realized that "Neon Lights" is actually a song by an OPM artist named Rico Blanco . So it's either it's Rico Blanco on the chart or it's SNSD, but its a different song. (See second screenshot!)
  • Wonder Girls with - 2 Different Tears" - #15 on the MYX International Chart
  • Big Bang - "Tell Me Goodbye" - #19 on the MYX International Chart
Keep in mind that the rankings move up and down as the voting is still ongoing until the end of today. But Suju seems solid at #1!

Korean rapper MC Mong has climbed to the No. 1 spot on Gaon's singles chart with his latest song "Hurts Like Death" featuring female singer Mellow.

According to data released by Gaon on Thursday, he took the title of best-selling single during the week of June 27 to July 3, pushing three-week winner IU and Seulong down the chart.

The latest collaboration is a track featured in album "Blue Brand; Trauma" which includes various tracks from different recording artists. "Hurts Like Death" has fared well on other web-based music charts as well since its release on June 24.

"Nagging," a duet by songstress IU and 2AM member Seulong dropped one slot to No. 2 and the latest single "The Day I Confessed My Love" by 2AM leader Jo Kwon made its debut in third place.

Meanwhile, boy band Super Junior's repackaged fourth album "BONAMANA" bowed into the top spot on the albums chart, scoring its first win for the first week of July.

"Solar," the first studio release by Big Bang member Taeyang, bowed into second place and reentering the top 3 was veteran singer Lee Seung-chul's special "25th Anniversary" record.
