After a long break, Ulala Session will be making a comeback with new mini album titled, ‘Memory’.

On June 13, Ulala Company confirmed that Ulala Session will release their new mini album ‘Memory’. This will be their first album since the passing of their leader Lim Yoon Taek in early February due to stomach cancer.

The agency added that the new mini album will be a tribute for Lim Yoon Taek. As the title suggests, the group will sing about their own stories and past memories with ballad songs.

Currently busy in his schedules abroad, Psy will make a pit stop in Korea to bid his friend Lim Yoon Taek goodbye.

According to YG Entertainment, Psy landed in South Korea on February 12 and headed straight to Seoul’s Yonsei University Hospital to personally send his condolence to Ulala Session’s Lim Yoon Taek and his family.

Psy and Lim Yoon Taek became friends through Mnet’s Superstar K3. The “Gangnam Style” singer was in Malaysia on February 11 when he heard the news of his friend’s passing and immediately returned to Korea to attend his funeral.

Meanwhile, Lim Yoon Taek, who has been suffering from stomach cancer for several years, has passed away on the evening of February 11th KST.

Following the tragic news of Ulala Session leader Lim Youn Taek’s death, several celebrities expressed their sorrows through their SNS accounts.

Yoon Jong Shin, who was a judge for ‘Superstar K3’ posted on his Twitter, “Yoon Taek… I never gave you anything, but I just learned so many things from you. I could not keep in touch recently… Goodbye, and thank you.”

‘Superstar K2’ winner, Huh Gak posted, “Lim Yoon Taek hyung, God will protect you in a place where there is no pain. My condolences to you” while Tiger JK wrote, “Rest In Peace.” Simon D also tweeted, “Rest in peace, Mr. Lim. I hope you will sing and dance as much as you want in heaven.”

2AM members also offered their condolences with Jo Kwon posting, “I won’t forget your passion on stage. Rest in peace. My condolences to Lim Yoon Taek, who was a beautiful performer.” Seulong tweeted, “I’ve never met you and I don’t really know you but after hearing this news, my heart aches so much. My condolences to you.” and lastly Jinwoon tweeted, “I will never forget… You really gifted everyone with beauty… My condolences to you.”

Other celebrities and netizens are also pouring out their condolences to the singer.

Talented member of Ulala Session, Lim Yoon Taek, has passed away.

It has been revealed that Lim Yoon Taek, who has been suffering from stomach cancer for several years, has passed away on the evening of February 11th KST.

The 32-year old singer rose to fame through the group Ulala Session, who won Mnet’s ‘Superstar K3’ back in 2011. He tied the knot with hair designer Lee Hyerim on August of last year and became the father of a baby girl.

His funeral will be held at the Yonsei Severance Hospital on February 13.

Ulala Session’s Lim Yoon Taek tied the knot with his girlfried - now wife - hair designer named Lee Hyerim on August 7th in Gangnam of Seoul. With the wedding over, K Studio released pictures revealing the blessed event and the club-like festivities.

Yoon Taek vowed to entertain his wedding guests and treat them to a club-like experience just before tying the knot. “Wedding ceremonies are generally held in a respectful manner, but mine today will be quite different”, he said. “I hope everyone can enjoy my wedding as if they were in a club.”

Carrying on the upbeat spirit of Ulala Session, Yoon Taek as well as his members put on various performances throughout the night, making the event enjoyable for everyone involved.

Lim Yoon Taek and Lee Hyerim met last year in May through a mutual friend. Yoon Taek, who was going through a difficult time dealing with cancer, was touched and moved by his three-year junior Lee Hyerim’s warmth and support.

Lim Yoon Taek of the K-pop band Ulala Session spoke out against rumors about his sickness, and about his soon-to-be-born baby.

On the July 2 episode of SBS’ “Good Morning,” Lim, who is currently battling stomach cancer, was spotted lecturing at a hospital in Seoul.

On the malicious gossip that Lim’s cancer was a lie, Lim said, “I usually don’t pay attention to those comments. I’m still receiving chemotherapy, unlike the rumors.”

At the interview, Lim thanked his family and fellow Ulala Session members for their support. Lim also addressed his excitement for the upcoming wedding and his wife’s pregnancy, referring to his baby as “the proof that he lived.”

That's right! Ulala Session's Lim Yoon Taek has announced his engagement to his girlfriend Lee Hye Rim and they will be getting married this summer. The two have known each other since May and shared a close relationship with each other. Also, his fiance Lee Hye Rim is also six month's pregnant and she is due to give birth this coming September.

The couple has gone through a lot in their relationship especially when Lim Yoon Taek was diagnosed with stomach cancer, but the hardships only made their relationship stronger. After falling in love with each other despite such a hard circumstance the two were able to build a strong relationship due to it and are now getting married and have a happy family. Lee Hye Rim shared that she will do her best to be beside her fiance and help him restore his health.

Congratulations to the happy couple and their family!

Lim Yoon Taek, singer from Ulala Session has revealed that he has a girlfriend on tvN’s “ E News” on Friday.

During his interview with comedian Byeon Gi-su, Lim mentioned that he was seeing someone. The singer had previously garnered much attention for his battle with stomach cancer.

“Previously, all my girlfriends knew that music came first and that at most, we’d see each other once a week. Due to that reason, a lot of them broke-up with me,” said Lim.
When Byeon asked if his current girlfriend was more sympathetic, Lim answered, “Actually she finds it difficult too. My mum actually calls her up and begs her to not leave me,” Lim bantered.

During the chat, Lim also took some time to send a special message to his girlfriend, saying, “I will become a better boyfriend. People matter more than music and you matter a lot to me.”

On May 10, Lim’s band released its debut album, “Ulala Sensation Part 1.” The album is doing well on online charts.

Lim Yoon Taek of the K-pop band Ulala Session confessed on Friday that he was a bully in his high school days.

In his new role as Suseo Police Station’s honorary ambassador for school violence prevention, Lim gave a lecture at Dankook Technical High School in Seoul in which he revealed his dark past as a bully. He expressed remorse for his behavior and said he regretted being a bully when he was young.

“I was suspended for two years during my high school days and frequently changed schools,” Lim said to an audience of 400 students.

“I’m really ashamed of myself.”

Lim said students should take care of each other and urged them not to make same mistakes he did.

“When you become a root of evil in a small society like school, you can never go back,” Lim said.

Lim, who is still receiving treatment for stomach cancer, became popular with his band last November after winning season three of the popular reality show “Superstar K.”

On February 14th, the singer updated his Twitter, "Thank you so much for every single one of your gifts!!! The picture frame is amazing! The families’ faces make a picture of my face~ Thank you!", and uploaded the photo above.

In the photo, Lim Yoon Taek proudly shows off the huge and unique photo frame. He is seen smiling brightly while holding the big photo mosaic from his thoughtful fan.
