Soon-to-be husband and wife, Lee Byung Hyun and Lee Min Jung left on a trip to the America together on June 7th, sparking rumors that they might have an early honeymoon.

A representative of Lee Byung Hun’s agency explained, “It is true that Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung left to America together last week for agency meetings and schedules. It’s too fancy to call it a honeymoon. They’re just gone for business and vacation.”

The rep added, “Lee Min Jung went to America as her private vacation while Lee Byung Hun will have his promotions for his new movie ‘Red 2’. As we know, they are not on an early honeymoon.”

Meanwhile, Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung will tie the knot on August 10th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.


After being swept up in wedding rumors, celebrity couple Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung have been confirmed to be getting married in August!

Both the actors’ agencies on June 5th that Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung would be getting married later this year. The report stated that the two have decided to finally tie the knot on August 10th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung were caught up in numerous rumors after the couple attended a close friend’s wedding earlier on May 29 where Lee Min Jung caught the bouquet, suggesting possibility of the actress as the next one to get married.


In the midst of wedding reports of various celebrities recently, celebrity couple Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung are also tied in a rumor about marriage.

On May 29th, Lee Min Jung’s agency denied the rumors saying, “The rumor that the wedding will soon happen is false. Nothing about Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun’s wedding was decided.”

The rumors arose after the couple attended a close friend’s wedding earlier on May 29 where Lee Min Jung caught the bouquet. Many people started suggesting possibility of their wedding.

The agency explained, “It seems like there was a misunderstanding, because Lee Min Jung received the bouquet.”


More than 150 stars went to watch the concert of Korea’s international star, Psy!

On April 13th, Psy’s solo concert ‘HAPPENING’ was held at World Cup stadium in Sangam-dong, Seoul. In addition to the 50,000 screaming fans, several celebrities also attended the concert to show their support for the world star.

Stars including world star Lee Byung Hun, Kim Soo Hyun, Song Joong Ki, Yoo In Na, Choi Ji Woo, Lee Yo Won, Kim Gang Woo, Kim Seong Soo, Lim Soo Jeong, and more went to the concert hall to watch Psy’s concert. Ga In, who appeared on the music video of new song “Gentleman”, enjoyed the stage as well.

KARA’s Goo Hara and Nicole also attended the concert and they provided a proof-shot through Goo Hara’s Twitter saying, “Everybody became one at Psy's concert~ I don’t know if those who did not come would feel it~”

Meanwhile, Psy revealed his new single “Gentleman” in 119 countries on April 12th and as it was unveiled, it dominated the whole music charts in Korea. The music video of the song was also revealed on April 13th 9 pm, and it is already writing a record in YouTube.

Actor Lee Byung Hun revealed his intense training video from New Orleans in preparation for his mega-hit Hollywood movie ‘G.I. Joe 2’.

The video was recorded by XTM Channel back in October 2011, and it fully features Lee Byung Hun’s training and ordinary life. He showed the most realistic rehearsal with his intense physical training, and surprised many fans with his unbelievable body shape.

Lee Byung Hun said, “I don’t think there is a much better way for improving martial arts other than continuous practice. How much you’ve practiced is clearly visible when the shooting starts.”

Hallyu actor Lee Byung Hun has been turned into a doll.

BH Entertainment announced that Lee Byung Hun has become the first Korean actor to be turned into a figurine by famed character doll producer Hot Toys. The 30-cm toy figure of Storm Shadow from movie ‘G.I.Joe 2’ was created with the help of Korean artist Lee So Young, who sculpted the head.

The figure was made in two different versions and comes with an extra attachable head, hands and weapons. The figure was very sophisticatedly made, and it will bring another huge joy to many of those who enjoyed the movie.

The toy figure is currently in pre-order status and will be released in the second quarter of 2013. Meanwhile, ‘G.I. Joe Retaliation’ will be out in theaters on March 29, 2013.


Hallyu stars will be introduced on a documentary of The Discovery Channel.

On December 10th, B.A.P’s agency, TS Entertainment, revealed that B.A.P along with Super Junior, Psy and actor Lee Byung Hun, will be featured in an upcoming Discovery Channel documentary which will broadcast on December 15th and 16th from all over the world.

Titled “Korea Next”, the documentary is a five-part series which will include 30-minute segments on K-pop, nature, traditional culture, religion and the IT (information technology) industry to further introduce Korea today to the world.

TS Entertainment also stated that along with their success from their debut and high rankings on various music charts, they expect B.A.P’s popularity to become further solidified through their position in this documentary.

Actor Lee Byung Hun has been named the 2012 Star of the Year.

On December 13th, Lee Byung Hun will be awarded ‘Star of the Year’ award at the CineAsia 2012 Award which take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The actor will become the second Korean entertainer to be honored as Star of the Year after Rain in 2007.

Lee Byung Hun has been keeping himself busy by casting Korean film ‘Masquerade’ as well as Hollywood blockbusters ‘G.I.Joe’ and ‘Red 2’ and he will be recognized as the hottest star of Asia.


Lee Byung Hun’s domestic film ‘Masquerade’ (Korean title "Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King") which has been dominating the box office, has dominated the 29th Grand Bell Awards as well.

The awards took place on October 30th, presenting a total of 23 awards in many different categories. Out of the 23, the movie starring Lee Byung Hun took home 15 awards, for the best picture, director, lead male actor, supporting male actor, costume, art, music, sound effects, popularity, lighting, editing, production, scenario, filming, and video effects.

The remaining winners for the night included actress Cho Min Soo for Best Lead Female Actress in the movie ‘Pieta’, Kim Hae Sook for Best Supporting Female Actress in ‘The Thieves’, Kim Sung Gyun for Best Male Rookie Actor in ‘Neighbor’, Kim Go Eun for Best Female Rookie Actress in ‘A Muse’, Choi Jiyeon for Best Short Film for ‘Woman’, Choi Jong Tae for Best New Director for ‘Hand In Hand’, and Kim Ki Deok for Judges’ Special Award for ‘Pieta’.

Actor Lee Byung Hun recently made a pledge regarding his new film,

On the October 7th episode of MBC’s ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay’, Lee Byung Hun and fellow actor Ryu Seung Ryong, who are starring in the movie ‘Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King’, sat down for an interview.

During the show, Lee Byung Hun made a commitment if the movie become successful. He promised, “If the movie reaches more than 10 million moviegoers when I am overseas, I’ll dress up as King Gwanghae, make a video and reveal it in public.”

Park Kyung Lim jokingly replied, “If you do that overseas, you might get kicked out.” Lee Byung Hun replied back, “But I will definitely keep the promise.”


Actor Lee Byung Hun recently received praise from the ‘LA Times’.

Robert Abele, who is a famous movie critique of magazine ‘LA Times’, reported about Lee Byung Hun’s casting on ‘Gwang Hae’, “He was the best main conductor of the movie.” The magazine described the actor as the “South Korea’s Brad Pitt.”

The influential newspaper met with the star actor at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the location of the red carpet premiere for his film, ‘Gwang Hae’. During the interview, Lee Byung Hun also expressed his thanks for the local fans’ great support for him and the movie.

A local official stated, “His interview was something more than a part of movie promotion. Lee Byung Hun made Korea proud by having an interview with ‘LA Times’,” and highly complimented him.

Several media outlets reported that Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung were taking the first steps to get married as they had dinner with both parents. However, both parties denied down all claims of marriage.

According to Lee Byung Hun’s agency, BH Entertainment, on September 28, “Lee Byung Hun’s wedding rumor is not true at all. It is true that the couple met with both of their parents but no marriage talks took place.”

Previously, a press reported that Lee Byung Hun attended the birthday dinner of Lee Min Jung’s mother. Thus, many people suspected they met to discuss about wedding.

Actor Lee Byung Hun’s ‘Masquerade’ will premiere at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) at 7:30 p.m. on September 14th (local time), the first Korean film ever to debut at the venue. It was invited to be screened there by Film Independent, a non-profit arts organization that holds an event of the same title as part of the LACMA Film Series, bringing together its large community of filmmakers and wide spectrum of audiences.

After the news was announced on the LACMA website last week, all 600 tickets soon sold out, reflecting people’s high expectations of the film as well as the popularity of star Lee Byung Hun, who will step on the red carpet for the premier.

Lee Byung Hun made a name for himself in Hollywood with his appearance in the ‘G.I. Joe’ series. He left the country on September 10th to shoot his new film, ‘Red 2’, starring Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren.

Actor Lee Byung Hun, who recently made his relationship public with actress Lee Min Jung, revealed how he and her girlfriend call each other.

On the September 9th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay’, Lee Byung Hun appeared for an interview and opened more details about his relationship.

When asked how he and Lee Min Jung call each other and Lee Byung Hun answered, “I just call her by her name ‘Min Jung’ and she calls me ‘oppa’”, and he shyly smiled.

Lee Byung Hun talked about his dating life, “We thought we could meet outside after officially revealing our relationship, but because of my movie promotions, I had schedules from morning to night. It’s regretful.”

He then made everyone jealous by talking about how Lee Min Jung had sent lunch boxes for him and his staff on set.

The actor also shared about fellow cast member Ryu Seung Ryong, “We are good friends now, but I sometimes think that he’s much older than me.”

Lee Byung Hun, appearing on KBS current affairs program “News Line” on September 5th, had some awkward moments during a 10-minute interview by anchorman Park Sang Bum.

Park asked Lee, “Just how long have you been acting?” And even though Lee’s been actively promoting his movie “Gwanghae” for the past week, Park asked what his latest work was.

Also when Lee said he had recently filmed “Red 2” in Montreal, Park added, “Yes, I’ve heard that you’ve been filming in the United States.”

Lee quickly corrected the anchorman by saying, “Well it is a U.S. film, but I shot it in Montreal, Canada.”

Just when things couldn’t have gotten worse, Park shocked even Lee by asking a question about his love life. Despite the fact that Lee Byung-hun’s new romance with Lee Jung-min has been covered extensively by local media, Park asked, “Do you have a girlfriend?”

When Lee laughed and answered the question in the affirmative, the newscaster went on further to ask her name.

All eyes were on Hallyu actor Lee Byung Hun after confirming his relationship with actress Lee Min Jung.

On September 4th, Lee Byung Hun attended the press conference for his new movie, ‘Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King’ at a pub in Jongno District, central Seoul. Despite the fact that the event was staged to promote the movie, reporters bombarded the actor with questions about his girlfriend.

Lee Byung Hun shared, “I owe so much to her. We can talk for hours, and she is also the only woman who can make me laugh.”

The actor added that their 12-year age gap was not ideal. “I do feel bad for her that she’s dating someone so much older.” But he said that Lee Min Jung was wise beyond her years and had recently impressed not only him but the cast and crew of his movie by sending them homemade lunch.

In regards to making the public announcement just last month, Lee Byung Hun said it has made life easier. “It’s nice to think that we don’t have to hide our relationship.”

Neighbors of Lee Byung Hun recently revealed that Lee Min Jung was spotted visiting the star actor’s house at least once a week since this past April.

On August 27th, SBS TV’s ‘Good Morning’ aired a special report about Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun’s relationship. According to the neighbors’ witnesses, the two stars have been enjoying dates at least once a week since last April.

One neighbor stated, “Lee Min Jung has been visiting the area about once a week since April. She only stayed a while at Lee Byung Hun’s home, and she left again. Lee Byung Hun’s mother said she’s always so quiet.”

But when asked if he thought the couple would get married, he only said, “I think it’s a little too early to talk about that.”

Meanwhile, Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung went public with their relationship on August 19th.
