Actress Lee Yeon Hee has been spotted filming for the upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’.

Teaser stills of Lee Yeon Hee and Choi Jin Hyuk in character were revealed online. The two filmed a scene at Jeju Island from February 5th to the 8th. Lee Yeon Hee takes on the role of Yoon Seo Ha who shares destined love with the guardian spirit Goo Wol Ryeong (Choi Jin Hyuk).

She said, “I’m nervous about the new side of me you get to see and know a fantastic love story will spread before you.”

Lee Yeon Hee’s appearance in the series is going to be a supportive and positive contribution. She will appear for only a short time, but her character will play an important role in the development of the story in the drama.

‘Book of the House of Gu’ is a historical drama about Choi Kang Chi, a half man and half beast who struggles to make a full transformation into a human. Lee Seung Gi and miss A’s Suzy will be the male and female leads in the drama.

The actors and actresses of the upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’ including the two leads, Lee Seung Gi and Suzy, gathered together for the first script reading session at MBC’s Dream Center in Ilsan on February 1.

‘Book of the House of Gu’ will be directed by Shin Woo Chul, who also worked on ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity,’ ‘Secret Garden,’ ‘Lovers of Prague’ and ‘Lovers of Paris’ and written by Kang Eun Kyung of ‘Baker King Kim Tak Gu’.

Cast members including Lee Seung Gi, miss A’s Suzy, Lee Sung Jae, Lee Yeon Hee, Choi Jin Hyuk, Jung Hye Young and more attended the first script reading. This is Lee Seung Gi and Suzy’s first historical drama series, and at the session, they transformed into their characters as a half-man half-beast Choi Kang Chi and martial arts instructor Dam Yeo Wool.

Lee Yeon Hee, who plays the role of Yoon Seo Hwa, a lady from a noble family, and Choi Jin Hyuk, who plays the role of Goo Wol Ryung, also read their parts.

‘Book of the House of Gu’ has started shooting in February and will air in April.

It has been revealed that ‘My Daughter the Flower’ co-stars, Choi Jin Hyuk and Son Eun Seo have split after dating for half a year.

Both of their respective managements representatives confirmed the news saying, “Because they were both so busy with work they were unable to meet up frequently and decided to end their relationship.”

Choi Jin Hyuk and Son Eun Seo met on set of SBS drama ‘My Daughter the Flower’ in June 2011 and admitted they were dating via their social networking sites.

‘Flower boy’ actor Choi Jin Hyuk held his first fan meeting in Tokyo’s Laforet Museum Roppongi on December 16.

Choi jin Hyuk appeared singing before cheering fans and introduced himself using Japanese buzzwords. He said, “I have never had a fan meeting before neither in Japan nor in Korea, so I’ve been very nervous all week. I am very encouraged to see so many fans here.”

In the talk show, he talked about the drama “I Need A Romance” in which he performed, saying “I am honored that you are enjoying the drama. I could not sleep well for several nights due to the kiss scene, but Cho Yeo Jeong encouraged me a lot.”

He continued, “As an actor, I am doing my best to perform every line with sincerity. I hope to play a villain role as well to diversify my acting skills.”

Choi Jin Hyuk wrote his mottoes “Sincerity” and “Love” in Korean and taught the fans how to pronounce them. He also released video images showing his daily life for fans.

He re-acted major scenes in the drama “I Need A Romance” and sang “Run In The Sky”, sung by Lee Juk.

During a press interview held before the fan meeting, Choi Jin Hyuk said, “I wanted to be a singer since O was a child. I hope to engage in musical activities in Japan. I will increase my activities in Japan next year.”

Actor Choi Jin Hyuk and Urban Zakapa’s Kwon Soonil both lent their voices for the soundtrack of Channel A’s drama series, ‘Miss Panda and Hedgehog’.

On September 24th, Choi Jin Hyuk, who also stars in the drama, released his ballad titled, “Inverted Love”. Kwon Soonil, on the hand, released the track “Promise”, a theme song for Super Junior’s Donghae’s character, Ko Seungji.

Channel A’s upcoming weekend drama ‘Miss Panda and Porcupine’ has released a teaser video featuring the lead cast members Super Junior’s Donghae, Yoon Seung Ah, Yoo So Young and Choi Jin Hyuk.

‘Miss Panda and Porcupine’ is a romantic comedy between a genius patisserie named Ko Seungji (played by Donghae) who seems bad tempered on the outside but is tender on the inside and the cake house owner Panda (Yoon Seung Ah) who is always losing out on sales but is never let down.

The drama will be aired for the first time on the 18th of August at 7:30PM. In the meantime, check out the teaser below!

Actor Choi Jin Hyuk (27) confirmed rumors that he was dating actress Son Eun Seo (25).

On the evening of June 21 Choi gave his official position on his Twitter, saying, “I was so busy filming that I didn’t have the time to write until now.”

Commenting on the scandal reported the day before, Choi showed his affection for his girlfriend saying, “We are dating, as many of you have already heard in the reports. It somehow became that the scandal came first and our explanation second, but Son and I truly care for one another, and I’m happy every single day I spend with her.”

He also said, “I was so thankful for all the congratulatory messages that I got from many.” “I’m really sorry that I couldn’t tell my fans earlier,” he apologized to his fans.

Apparently, Choi and Son first met in “My Daughter the Flower,” an SBS drama that aired until May, and continued dating even after the drama. Recently, they were spotted on Garosugil, a glitzy strip of shops and restaurants in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul, while on a date.

Choi made his debut in 2006 and became popular for his performance in dramas “Pasta” (2010) and “I Need Romance” (2011), and Son was made famous by her acting roles in dramas “The Princess Returns” (2009), “Flames of Ambition” (2010) and “Spy Myung-wol” (2011) and movies “Humming” (2007) and “Girl’s High School Horror 2” (1999).

Following the celebrity couples, Ji Hyun Woo—Yoo In Na and Seo Woo—In Gyo Jin, actress Son Eun Seo and actor Choi Jin Hyuk have revealed that they are currently in a romantic relationship.

On June 20, a representative in the entertainment industry stated, “Choi Jin Hyuk and Son Eun Seo, who have worked together on the SBS drama, ‘My Daughter the Flower’ are in a relationship. The two started to become interested in each other while filming for the drama, and their relationship naturally progressed into a romantic one.”

Some local media outlets also reported that they started dating some time ago back in April, which they often spotted while enjoying their date at the street. Many netizens wondered if they were really couples back then.
