SNSD's Taeyeon uploaded a photo that reveals nothing but a mystery.

At first look, the photo is like a simple butterfly. But if you'll just pay attention to its details, you'll notice that the body of the butterfly is a microphone, the wings looks like number three, and the wind has music notes.

SNSD's Taeyeon was successful in making her fans wondering. Her caption made it more mysterious, "#3 #9 #butterfly #TY #Taenggu #soon".

Does  #3 represent SNSD's subunit,TaeTiSeo?
Does  #9 symbolize SNSD?
Does  #soon mean a come back?

We'll know sooner or later.

Since its inaugural event in 1986, the Golden Disk Awards has been recognized for its legitimacy over the past 26 years, thus earning its nickname as the “the Korean Grammy Awards” and becoming the most sought-after prize by musicians.

As you all might have already heard, the next Golden Disk Awards aka GDA will be happening in none other than sunny ol’ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On the 15 and 16th January 2013, Sepang International Circuit will face a K-Pop invasion by not one, not two, but over 20 K-Pop idols/idol groups.

It’s set to be the biggest K-Pop event that Malaysia has ever had. So big that the pre-recorded telecast of the awards will be broadcasted in South Korea. Wow. Lucky, lucky us!

The GDA is divided into live concert performances and awards show over two days (15th and 16th January 2013). 15th January 2013 will be the Disk Album night (awards based on the total combined sales volume of albums and judges’ votes) whereas 16th January 2013 will be the Disk Song night (awards based on total combined sales volume of songs and judges’ votes).

So without further ado, here are the complete lists of award categories and nominees for Samsung GALAXY The 27th Golden Disk Awards in Kuala Lumpur:

For more information on the list of nominees, CLICK HERE! To cast your vote for the Popularity Awards, CLICK HERE!

As for the question of which of these nominees will be attending and performing at the Samsung GALAXY The 27th Golden Disk Awards in Kuala Lumpur, the only names that we currently have, as confirmed by Ilgan Sports of Joongang Tongyang Broadcasting Company (JTBC) are:

f(x), CN Blue, Super Junior aka SuJu, BEAST aka B2ST, SHINee, EXO-K, T-ara, Infinite, G-Dragon, K.Will, SISTAR, Secret, F.T. Island, HyunA (from 4Minute), Ailee, B.A.P, B1A4, KARA, Juniel, TeenTop, Epik High, Lee Ha Yi aka Lee Hi

The above is also subject to change as the GDA nominees/attendees are based on total combined sales volumes of the albums and songs. The committee behind the GDA will have to take updated sales numbers (from this point onwards until January 2013) into consideration.

The confirmed artistes that will definitely be making their way to GDA in Kuala Lumpur will be announced periodically, as time progresses. We’ll keep updating the list of confirmed artistes as we go along as soon as the organizers release ‘em.

If you ask us, they certainly don’t call this the most prestigious Korean awards aka “Korean Grammy Awards” for nothing. So hang in there! More news to come soon. We promise we’ll update this as soon as we know, with all that we know.

The world's largest video site, Youtube, has released a list of the top 10 K-Pop music videos for the first half of 2012 counting international and domestic (in Korea only) views.

In the first half of this year for international views, the most popular K-Pop music videos came from Big Bang. They recorded the highest number of hits for Fantastic Baby, Blue (2nd) and Bad Boy (4th). Girls' Generation's subunit debut single, Twinkle, followed in at third.

In June, Big Bang's special edition album "STILL ALIVE" was released and their title song Monster also ranked sixth on the global ranking. Big Bang has set a record for having 4 music videos in the top 10 global list. Included also in the rankings is f(X)'s Electric Shock which was released in early June, and only a month later, ranked fifth on the chart. Next are SHINee's Sherlock, the Wonder Girls' Like This, and 4Minute's Volume Up.

For the domestic views, the list is slightly different. Most domestic users during the first half of this year watched Sistar's Alone. Their sensual images and choreography received attention helping their domestic hit. Taetiseo's (Girls' Generation subunit) Twinkle, was second on the list, followed by the Wonder Girls Like This. Big Bang'sBlue and Fantastic Baby ranked 4th and 5th respectively on the national chart, and f(x)'s Electric Shock followed in 6th. T-ara's Lovey Dovey was also included in the ranking, while rising group Busker Busker's Cherry Ending ranked ninth.

Google Korea's managing director Seo Hwang Guk said, "K-Pop has already established itself as a genre worldwide that people enjoy. A variety of K-pop and other genres are being  introduced on Youtube, and this allows for more domestic and foreign users to exchange content and spread the influence of K-pop. This steady wave is expected to be sustained."

Times have indeed change, and with technology so are the celebrities themselves. With behind the scenes photo's of celebrities on their pictorials, editing and photoshopping them to look better on the finished product is getting over-rated already. Recently, there's been a lot of unedited behind the scenes photo's being revealed on online communities.

With these unedited photo's of celebrities, it shows the genuine and real figure of the celebrities and shows that editing to make them look slimmer or sexier is not needed anymore as they look hot as they are without those technology enhancements. Among these celebrities includes SISTAR, Kang Min Kyung of Davichi, Nana of After School and TaeTiSeo. What do you think?
