After School's Kahi made a confession on Heroes.

Kahi honestly confessed that she grew up in the hands of her grandfather and grandmother. She said “I grew up in the hands of my grandfather and grandmother. When I worked as a back dancer for BoA, my grandfather was in the hospital. Since we were preparing for a big event, I couldn’t visit him at the hospital, but then I got a call that he suddenly passed away,” and began to shed tears.

She continued, “At the time, I had doubts as to why I was doing this job. I wasn’t even a singer, but I was living as a back dancer and I couldn’t even be with my grandfather during his last moments. I hated myself so much, and I wanted to quit right away.”

Kahi concluded, “After my grandfather passed, I thought that even my grandfather wouldn’t be happy if I quit just like that,”and made the whole class silent in admiration.

Kahi seems to be okay and fine all the time but who would know that she had this bitter memories at the back of her mind.

SBS’s Heroes’ director hinted at the possibility of “Heroes” Season 2.”

PD Park Sung Hoon talked with Newsen through the phone and said “There is no reason to completely rule out season 2 of Heroes. There may be new faces and the current members are very sad about the ending.”

When asked if the current members will stay on the show, PD Park said “we haven’t started discussing any specifics. When things become clear, we will talk with our current members.”

Heroes filmed their last episode at the abandoned school where they filmed their first episode.

The show’s cast included most of the famous girl group and female solo artists as well as actresses such as Narsha, IU, Nicole, Yoo In Na, Hong Su Ah.

But since the news of the show’s cancellation was spread to the public, fans have posted various comments on the show’s website saying “I refuse this cancellation” “What will I watch now” “This sucks.” Some fans are going as far as protesting this cancellation.

Representatives of SBS’s “Heroes” confirmed on March 16th that the show would indeed be coming to an end.

The producers of the show spoke with SPN and revealed, “‘After completing the scheduled recordings, ‘Heroes’ will be coming to an end within the month. The final recordings will be held on March 28th and 29th.”

The program first began in July of 2010, and was introduced as a unique variety program which focuses entirely on the female perspective; it boasted a cast of 12 celebrities, including Narsha, Yoo In Na, Kahi, IU, Jiyeon and many others.

Unfortunately, the drama’s low viewer ratings were reported to have been the cause for the show’s conclusion.

Still, some fans remain hopeful that the show’s cancellation will remain just a rumor. When the reporters contacted SBS’s variety team, they stated, “We are in discussion for ending ‘Heroes,’ but there’s nothing absolute yet.”

Overwhelming opposition to the abolishment of Heroes!!!

Posted Image

The topic of SBS's variety program "Sunday is Good 2" (the 'Heroes' corner) has received overwhelming attention in regards to it's abolishment.

Recently, it was released that Heroes would finish at the end of April. It was notified to the crew that this would be the last recording session. Viewers of the show revealed an overwhelming opposition to the abolishment of the Heroes

Heroes has been debated furiously by show guests over the internet, some in favor of its abolishment and some apposed.

Those in favor of the abolishment of Heroes seem to be over 50%. While it is natural to abolish a show that gathers no ratings, some say that this must be looked upon in a business perspective.

However, most netizens seem to be against the abolishment of Heroes.

Netizens commented "They say Heroes is being canceled ㅠ.ㅠ then... Where can I see my female stars..ㅠㅠ They've taken away the hope of 600,000 people", "Why are they canceling Heroes? Do they know how much fun I have with that show?", "There seem to be flaws with the audience rating survey method"

We reported earlier that the cast members of SBS’s variety show Heroes would have a dance battle, or what they called a “b-girl” battle. Although some of the older cast had no trouble (e.g. Kahi of After School), IU seemed to have a more difficult time than the rest. That’s not to say she didn’t try – and in the clip below, you can see her struggling (albeit adorably) to do a handstand.

Enjoy the clip below!

Singer IU chose Taeyang as the cutest member of Big Bang and showed off a unique comic sense.

On the episode of SBS entertainment program ‘Heroes’ that aired on the afternoon of the 15th, IU was on the bus headed to an amusement park when she showed off her unique sense of humor as she answered MC No Hong Chul’s question about what high schoolers these days say.

IU replied, “A dragon flying to the sky in four words is, going on up dragon,” and, “The opposite of ‘this is small’ is ‘it’s big,’” and added, “High schoolers these days blow up at humor like this.” (Korean play on words.)

On this day, IU’s highlight was her answer to the question, “The cutest member of Big Bang?” Shin Bong Sun guessed her answer correctly by saying ‘Taeyang,’ and when asked the reason, IU replied, “Even though sometimes you can’t reach me,” singing a verse from ‘Only Look at Me.’ (Another play on words - the line from Taeyang’s song sounds a lot like the phrase, Sometimes I’m really cute.)

But the atmosphere on the bus got cold with this corny humor, and IU seemed to get discouraged.

Regarding this, Shin Bong Sun said, “IU fans, don’t misunderstand,” and after comforting IU, showed response to IU’s gags with forced laughter and over-action.
