Brown Eyed Girls’ sexpot, Narsha, is always happy to help out her bandmates. She introduced Ga-In to the joys of girl-on-girl kissing, joined Miryo on Music Bank when the rapper’s hit, “Dirty,” was deemed unsuitable for broadcast, and just this weekend, she helped JeA with a duet performance on Immortal Song 2. In case you didn’t know, Immortal Song is like American Idol or The Voice, but for established K-pop stars instead of hopeful wannabes. JeA is a contestant on the current season, and called up Narsha to try and help her win with a special mash-up performance of Uhm Jung-hwa’s classic, “On the Count of 3,” and BEG’s own smash, “Abracadabra.”

As expected, JeA and Narsha’s vocals were no joke. The two K-divas absolutely powered through the song without fault, living up to their title as one of Korea’s premiere vocal groups. The male contestants backstage cheered excitedly when Narsha stepped out to start performing the “Abracadabra” hip dance choreography, while Uhm Jung-hwa herself watched the entire performance from the front row, smiling and swaying to the music.

We know that the Brown Eyed Girls are currently in the midst of solo promotions, but seeing this really makes us want a group comeback from the foursome this year.

JeA’s long-awaited solo album, Just JeA, finally dropped a few days ago, making her the last Brown Eyed Girl to go solo. The album’s lead single, “While You Were Asleep,” is a beautiful power ballad bursting with dramatic production changes and heart-wrenching lyrics about unrequited love. It’s definitely a more unique approach to your standard K-pop ballad, which really comes as no surprise since BEG is known for always stepping outside the box.

So far, Just JeA is off to a smashing start. Buzz single, “Let’s Hug,” topped digital charts shortly after its release and is still in the top 10 of the instiz iChart, while “While You Were Asleep” is currently performing solidly, sitting comfortably in the top fifteen.

Check out JeA’s latest, below.

Narsha "I was actually afraid if there will be criticism on my amateur acting.. so this feels just like a dream"

From just a cameo appearance to being part of the fixed cast, and continuing on with the extension of the drama..an interview with Narsha of

From a radiant star on stage and variety, she transformed into a Drama Queen, and never dreamt that she could do so well. She is Narsha from MBC's (Screenplay: Choi Wan-Kyu, Directors: Lee Joo-Hwan, Lee Sang-yeob)

Her latest work in , where the limelight placed on the drama is still as much as before, Narsha plays the role of a charismatic Lee Hye Bin, a Lead Singer in Ahn Jae-Wook's 'Shine Troupe'. She is the only cameo role on the drama that became a fixed cast, and will be continuing on with the extension of the drama, until the broadcast comes to an end.

Needless to say, with a powerful vocal easily acknowledged by just listening, and breaking the trend of casting only older actors in such a heavy ambience drama plot setting dominated by guys, she totally stands out. From developing a cute and romantic love line with the man among the boys, Cho Tae Su (played by Kim Rae Ha), to sharing a shocking relationship with fellow singer Ji-ae (played by Hong Jin-young) and others, the relationships with the colleagues on the drama are especially interesting and harmonious. Just four months back, without harbouring the thought of being involved as an actress, Narsha thought to herself " If I don't do this, I will regret", and happily accepted the offer.

- How was the first acting attempt? There were alot of NGs.

It has been very interesting. Frankly speaking, there were tough moments, but things get easier as I get myself more engrossed into my role. Although it might be tough now, I find it interesting. I would like to try out other stuffs, to the pitiful extent of having scenes being cut. We cannot afford NGs at the scenes. Especially when the Sunbaes are acting, I don't dare to get NGs. They should not be getting NGs because of me. Hence, instead of waiting to be picked on, I rather digest as much as I could and give it my best shot.

- Had originally dreamed of becoming an actress.

I dreamed of going into acting. But it was nothing like the situation now. I never dare to dream about being casted in a mainstream drama. I wanted to be an actress, and I love movies, hence I do pay more interest in this area. In my impression, movies has got more freedom and is more relaxed. I have the thinking that if we say TV drama creates beautiful people, then movie opens the doorway to bring out people with strong personalities. However, one day the offer of a role in the heavily invested drama just came.

- Worried at the beginning

Upon hearing the news for the first time, I was worried for the one month thereafter. As compared to being starred as a singer, I was more afraid of being assessed on my acting. How much criticism am I going to receive for my amateur acting. And feeling uncomfortable with how people around are going to look at me. This path is different from that of a singer, where comments are cool and straightforward. In such circumstance, I tell myself that I should view all these as rooms for improvement for myself.

- No overlap between roles as singer and actor

The common point between a singer and an actor is that both are performers. When on stage, you have no choice but to give your best and put up a fierce performance. No matter how nervous you may be, you have to maintain a poker face. You have to stay calm even with three cameras on you at once. Three cameras on stage is nothing as compared to even more cameras in front of you when performing (fan cams). I'm not blaming the cameras for my nervousness.

- From a cameo appearance to being a fixed cast, and continuing on with the extension of the drama. Response was good.

I never expected such a response. Initially, there were only scenes of me singing. Even until now, I still feeling nervous when the camera starts rolling. Once there was this scene where I was supposed to be drinking water, but because I was too nervous, my hands couldn't stop shaking and I had to hold the glass with both hands before I could drink the water. That was how nervous I am.

- What has been most challenging?

Singers and actors have different cycles. The waiting time between shoots can be really long. We have to be ready at all times. Even the skin needs to be on standby mode (Laughs). Of course, the daily schedule varies between being supporting actor for the whole drama and otherwise. However, I would always want to be well prepared mentally.

- Sweet loveline with boss Tae Su (played by Kim Rae Ha) has been interesting

My character's loveline was just developed based on what's written on the script. That was actually quite interesting. In fact, if you understand Hye Bin well, the character is just like a [calculative 4D] fox (*shrewd). Even in face of guys with strong fists, there was no stopping to the boss to say whatever is on his mind, and that was so charismatic! I totally sank in, and cannot escape anymore! (Laughs) There was this bobo (*kiss) scene with Tae Su, where originally I was suppose to plant a kiss on his cheek, but we ended up with a kiss on the lips. While watching the broadcast together with my mum at home, my mum who did not know about this scene beforehand, went 'omo omo' at the TV screen while watching it!

- Playing the role of a deceitful and bad-tempered girl, and given that my variety image is somewhat similar, everyone seems to have developed misconception about me.

The truth is, my character is not like this. I have hidden my real personality. This image seems to match me well. Don't mind if I say this, but it feels good to hear that. Even kids who are really like that might not be able to portray such an image like me.(laughs) Even though I'm portraying such an image to everyone, I'm [really not] like this, I'm not a deceitful and detested person, I hope that everyone do not hate me for this.

- Never thought of trying out roles of Lady-like characters

As compared to a delicate and gentle image, I think I am just more suited for a character with strong personality. I am not a delicate lady. Even if I'm given a chance to start over again, besides pretty and more boyish roles, I don't think I am suited for other roles. Just like the character I'm playing now, it fits my image well.

- Fellow Brown Eyed Girls member Ga-In was the first to try out acting. Do you exchange advices among the members?

Ga-In had hoped to continue acting. Actually in our team, we don't really touch on (*uses term 'no-touch') what each other do (solo activities). We've built up trust after being together for such a long period of time. We have been together for eight years counting from the dorm life days. After all, seeing that we're the longest-running girl group, we've came to trust each other that much.

- Feeling the change after being casted in . Received a lot of support from the middle-aged viewers.

Nowadays when I go to the market, the adults recognised me. It has been pretty cute. Had felt the power from the aunties and uncles. These days, there is also a greater sense of responsibility. As compared to just trying to act well at the initial stage, nowadays I am feeling pressured over [having to act well]. Even Lee Se-Chang sunbae is like this during the break time. Both of us played important roles to break the tension in the drama for the viewers. As we hope the viewers will find our stories interesting, we know that we have to make our characters as detestable as possible.

- It has already been 4 months of acting.

In these 4 months, it has really been worrying and non-stop worrying. Now thinking back, what could have happened if I had rejected this drama offer? With the mindset of [this is interesting, really interesting], I had decided to give acting a shot. Although I don't know how much I was looking forward to the script, but these 4 months had felt like a dream. I've never had any practical experience of acting with actors, so where am I going to learn and pick up the skill? Acting in feels just like going out to earn money, there was no opportunity for me to attend a proper acting class. I'm unsure of where I got my confidence from, but I tell myself that I should just learn and pick up naturally from my co-actors, and the result from this self-learning process has been significant.

- The team atmosphere has been harmonious.

Ahn Jae-Wook is really cool. Our team is really cool too. Everyone has been really nice, and are awesome at drinking, and everyone would stay till the end at gatherings. (laughs) Being my first attempt at acting, I always thought that all drama series scenes are the same, but this is actually not the case. I am not making a hypocritical statement here, but this is just the type of team I think I would want to work with.

- After acting, is there any actor you hope to meet?

Won Bin. Just thinking about it makes me excited. I'm a fan. Will such a day ever come? Even if i only get to see him once, I will be dead happy.

A couple months ago, I wrote an article in which I explored a handful of idols who I consider to be breaking the mainstream K-pop idol stereotype. To sum it up, I had inadvertently narrowed it down to a list of male idols who had been or are involved in the writing or production of their own music (a trend in K-pop we know all too well for being un-mainstream). Somehow, at the time, I had failed to incorporate female idols into the discussion, and I think it is high time these ladies got their moment of well deserved recognition.

To begin, it is worth noting that though K-pop idols are referred to as artists or musicians, they are not necessarily so by definition. An idol’s life will more often than not center around promotional activities, including variety stunts and radio shows, as well as vocal training and long hours of intense choreography–not studying musical nuances and what factors are key for a killer song; companies hire people to do those things. And considering the average idol schedule, idols have little to no time for themselves, so it comes as no surprise that they have little to no time in the writing, composing, or producing of their music.

Which is why seeing idols take an active part in being more than just, well, an idol is really rather flattering as a listener. In an industry where pop songs are practically formulaic and concepts are almost entirely predictable, the distinctive styles idols bring to the drawing table makes all the difference in the grand scheme of music. It truly is a compliment to fans when an idol carves out time in their endless schedules to personalize music.

Another important point to make: first of all, I believe my failure to initially recognize such unique female talents is not entirely my fault. K-pop has a knack of harboring plenty of beautiful women, but never really letting any of those women weigh in on the production of their own music. For some reason, only male idols from established groups seem to be given the chance to explore the writing and production of their music, or perhaps they are more prevalent and therefore more apparent. Either way, while our ladies of K-pop may be every man’s dream, they certainly are not every man’s musician. But despite the dismal status quo and the never ending gender war that exists in K-pop, there are some fierce females who have not only stood up to the mic but also risen to the occasion with lyrics in hand and compositions at the ready.

To start, let’s consider Brown Eyed Girls‘ rapper Miryo. This past February, Miryo released her first solo album self-titledMiryo aka JOHONEY. For this production, Miryo took on a major role of co-producing the entire album, as well as penning the lyrics and, of course, her own raps. Nega Network‘s main producer Lance opened up about Miryo’s involvement during the early stages of the album’s creation

"Miryo has taken part in producing, and writing the lyrics on the album. Through writing rap she also told her own story…You will be able to see her true colors through this record."

And indeed she did. Miryo AKA JOHONEY was a little bundle of surprises from start to finish. Though all the BEG members are extremely talented compared to a majority of mainstream muses, Miryo has a special place on the grand stage of idoldom. From her role as a rapper to her position in music development, Miryo stands tall in the shallow sea of K-pop. There has long been debate that the Brown Eyed Girls as an entire unit has long been above the idol standard; calling the members and Miryo ‘idols’ almost borders on the offensive from time to time.

Another female idol who is more involved in the creation of her music is none other than IU. From her shy, indie beginnings to her high strung pop fame, IU and her trusty guitar have always stepped up the plate to fulfill her dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter. IU sometimes seems like one of a kind, for she has been able to be both successful pursuing music and pursuing idol life. Her upcoming comeback single “Peach” is a self-written and self-composed song. It will be released prior to her album Spring at the Age of Twenty drops.

Now while a 30 year old veteran idol like Miryo may certainly be considered for a more hands approach to music, a 20 year old young idol princess doesn’t exactly seem the prime candidate for exploring and propelling the inner workings of her own musical productions. Though relatively young to be driving force behind her own sound, IU, however, has long since proved her musical sensibility, and has established her niche in the development of her music early on. Certainly not many other 20 year old idols can claim the same glory.

Finally, a honorable mention must go out to Ivy. Though Ivy has faced considerable struggle in her career as an entertainer, she has recently admitted to pursuing music even in her darker hours. On a recent episode of Strong Heart, it was revealed that Ivy wrote the lyrics to SNSD’s “Dear Mom” and SHINee’s “Last Gift,” two songs that, though not title or promotional tracks, were considerably popular during their respective releases. It’s not all that often we hear of idols, especially those on hiatus, who have taken on the covert role of lyricist.Miryo, IU, and Ivy are among the few female idols that thrive on the idol scene by their own musical creativity and song development. But the reason for their recognition goes much farther than just being above par on idol standards. These women of the mainstream idol society have successfully taken on roles that define them more along the lines of musicians and have enabled them to enter the predominantly male domain of music creation to spear-head much of their own creative development. In doing so, these ladies are breaking our traditional understanding of the female idol stereotype, and are encouraging aspiring young idols to do the same; to tackle musical creativity head on and truly explore what it means to be a real musician. Though the future still remains unclear, women like Miryo, IU, and Ivy challenge how we interpret K-pop as a music industry, and pave the way for a sturdier and more diverse ground for the rest of female idoldom to grow and flourish.

Son Ga In
The Reversal Life of The Goddess

The chic Ga In is actually an independant lady who has long been living alone. Surprisingly different from being the not so active girl in the program "We Got Married", it's a completely different situation in her own home!

The Loneliness of Living Alone

Always appearing so chic, Ga In gives off the impression that she would be a really indepedant woman. Maybe we can see her as the modern woman of this generation. Ga In has started living alone since about 2 years ago. But she will probably deny it if we were to say that she is a person who is really suitable for living alone. "Living alone is good for girls with boyfriends or those girls who love to go out and have fun. But for me, it's just giving me even more time to feel lonely" (*laughs).

"Even though I'm rather used to playing alone since young and having fun entertaining myself, but still living alone is really different from playing alone. But if you were to tell me not to live alone now, I'll probably won't do it either, haha."

Surprisingly Good Living Alone

Fans would probably be interested to know the things Ga In would do in her house when living alone. But each time celebrities were asked this question, they seem to think that they are the same just like everyone else. And of course, Ga In feels this way too.

"I'll just do whatever I can alone, like cleaning chores. Normal people clean their homes once every few days right, but that don't work for me. I won't allow my home to be messy. I'll clean it up the moment I see places which are dirty. My house has never been dirty ever since I started living alone, it's really the truth! And I've picked all the furniture in my house myself and some were even assembled by me, so I couldn't bare to see them
being dirtied. And because I did art when I was young, my house is actually pretty not bad!

The Mature Kind of Female Celebrity

Because of the effects of her strong eye makeup and stage outfits, Ga In gives off the feeling that she would be under the category of the mature, sexy celebrities. But it is unexpected that Ga In has actually been troubled over her more mature looks since young.

"It's true, I used to be really troubled over my more mature looks! I used to wrote about this problem everyday in my diary and I'm still keeping the diary I started when I was in elementary school. I even took it out and read it frequently when I was in high school, but not now. I've probably grown tired of it already." (*laughs) "Of course I wrote all sorts of other problems in the diary too, seems like I really did think too much when I was young, haha. But each time I look back to when I was young, I'll still feel that my younger self is really adorable."

Ga In’s Real Variety Fashion

Singer Ga In has kicked off her second round (activities) as a fashion PR CEO in cable TV reality program and with her second solo album. Standing in front of the viewfinder wearing patterned matching looks of striking colors, let's take a look at the real variety scene of this lady.

"Through my second solo album, I want to show my feminine side rather than the strong image of the similar performances of 'Abracadabra' and 'Irreversible'. And because many others are having a lot of pretty concepts, I'll be trying to bring out my most feminine side from deep within myself."

"I think I’m really suitable for reality programs. As you know, nothing is fixed and I get to do things my own way. I'm gaining a different experience being the CEO of the PR company 'Mental Breakdown' in the show these days."

"I stay away from 'Bottom-less' fashion in my daily life. Although I wear the shortest bottoms possible when I go on shows because of my petite frame, it's surprisingly that I actually really like men clothes. There are tons of men shirts, jackets and items like these in my wardrobe. I really hate stuffy or troublesome dressing. It's even to the shocking extent that even my mum question me about why there are men clothes in the house after seeing my wardrobe (*laughs)."

"I'm going to try dating like in a real love relationship before I turn 30. They say that people look for a comfortable relationship that is stable as we age, but that kind of relationship is not suitable for me. Wouldn't we be able to keep a relationship from going boring by really fighting when we fight and having 'push-pull' games too?"

"If we were to express this in a flower analogy, I think I'm now at the stage just before full bloom. There are still endless sides of me which I've yet been able to show. "

Ga In is now preparing for her second round, which is many times more nerve-wrecking than her first. In reality and in name, the lady who have received much love for their hit song 'Abracadabra' which elevated Brown Eyed Girls to their top status, her solo album , reality program and who is now taking on the role as CEO of fashion PR agency 'Mental Breakdown' on cable TV reality program . We're expecting her to show her different charms once again. And she even gave hints on the image she had beforehand in her mind of herself in her thirties.

"The Brown Eyed Girls unnie members made their debut when they were at my current age. And I've came to the age of my unnies then. This is how fast time has gone by. I used to hate looking young, but now I even have this small worry about what I’m going to do if I'm turning 30 so soon. But it'll probably be the same for me as now even when I turn 30."

The lady who is spending her days busy both physically and mentally is preparing for her second solo album during in her spare moments.

"I'm most mindful about working on my solo album.

I plan to show my feminine side which I've kept hidden so far. I've had a lot more girl fans due to the 'fierce lady' image of the sexy concept with heavy smokey makeup. It’s not just about being merely pretty, I wanted to come back with a feminine side which only I can show. That's the reason why I've been making a lot of discussion with the staff regarding the songs or about the performance these days. And of course, the composer, lyricist and MV director knows my style so well by now that all of us know what each other wants just by exchanging looks. So I’m not worried.”

Speaking carefully in a calm tone about her work and her thoughts about her thirties, the lady chose dating as the one thing she hopes to do now.

"I really want to try being in love now. So I'll definitely date before I turn thirty. And it is also really important to receive love as a woman. Even though I've kept asking myself questions like, 'How painful would it be when lovers separate? What would I do if it's me?' all the while to immerse myself in the lyrics, but I think I'll be able to express different emotions if I have more experiences in dating. And before I turn 30, I'll do something big and talk about it. It will be a big thing, something that will be shocking for everyone to the extent of appearing on one side of the newspaper. Of course it'll be even better if it is something about my music, but it's okay even if it is about love scandals (*laughs).

"Actually I practically don't wear clothes in orange normally. But I came to see its charms in this styling which makes use of its point. Try mixing in orange color with bags, jewelries or inner wear just like the outfits worn today."

INTERVIEW PART 1
the days of innocence

Brown Eyed Girls's Miryo stood infront of the camera with an innocent face.
The powerful female warrior image disappears and stands in front of us with an atmosphere of a woman who easily gets hurt. It could be so that with this album, a woman that has all she wishes called Miryo is shown  Love, Hatred, Passion and innocent days are yearned for.

Q: You really suit the image of innocence?
A: I'm like that. Haha.

Q: From the past you showed us a lot of powerful images.
A: Yes but that i couldnt deny because I am a rapper. Because there cannot be an innocent rapper existing. Anyhow thank you for saying that i suit being innocent. Please write it on the newsletter. That I fit the image well. Haha.
Q: No need to ask cause i think I will. Haha.
How is your album promotion going?
A: It was good up to last week. This week a lot of new songs came out and I think I was pushed down a little. How did you like it?
Q: To tell you the truth I dont listen to a lot of Brown Eyed Girls songs.
I had to listen to the music for this interview and it wasn't boring at all.
A: To tell you the truth this album isn't really a hip hop genre. It's a album full of songs in which i wanted to do, it could even show no relation at all. I wanted to mix the pop-rock and electronic feeling together. There are no hip hop songs. So those who expected hip hop genre songs were disappointed. But for me I wanted to make songs which I listened to a lot recently, and the songs which I got ideas from so an album like this was born.
Q:The song isn't easy to sing a lomg with, but it keeps making me listen to it.
A:I tried to mix the foreign style and music into the songs slightly. If I try to do all the styles i want the audience might not like it so I even went easy with the rap. If you had listened to my songs there are a lot of melodic lines. For those parts you can easily hear them.
Q:What were your member's reactions.
A:They said it was good. That the song is good and work hard. And also for my musical styles to be shown worldwide.
Q: Were you satisfied with your results? When you think about it?
A: My album satisfaction? I liked it a lot. Even i liked it so much I kept listening to my songs for a period of time. But not everyone have the same ears.
Q: It's your first as a solo?
A: Yes. It's my first in my 13 year career.
Q: 13 years? already?
A: I did it since i was young.
Q: Was it you who chose your album concept and overall style?
A:First I thought of the concept myself.I ended up working with those people who agreed with my ideas.
Q: For the featurings there were a lot of different people who did it, each song showed a different colour.
The featuring voices all suited with Miryo's raps. Did you ask them yourself?
A:In Sunny's case I already knew her since through Invisible Youth. It may be because of Narsha's friendship with SNSD I keep my eye on them Also I thought that Sunny's voice would suit this song. I was finding a singer whos voice tone suited the song through a list and I thought it would be unexpected and good.
Q:You sang "Leggo" with Narsha. The voice was clear and sweet?
A:Of course. High note. When Narsha sings with a whispering voice it is attractive, and with her real voice she is really powerful.
Q:You were the same member with Gary in "honey Family", did you already know Koxx or Rude Paper?
A:Not at all. When I was finding people to make good songs for me, I had a feeling I had to find them myself. Because I cant write the tracks well. I try to write it and do it but it doesn't end up well like i had thought. And during that time I saw Rude Paper's live concert. huh I was really shocked to  see that there were good musicians in our country. That day I went to their waiting room and told them I liked their song and wanted to work together and we exchanged numbers and became friends since then For Koxx's case I heard a lot about them. But I really wasnt interested, and thought ‘ah Who is this Koxx that is making everyone say koxx this koxx that’. And then I watched the trouble maker music video one day. After i watched it, it felt like i was punched. They were really good.  Up till then I didnt have any intersts in rock but after listening to that song it felt like my chest was cleared up. Even though it was rock it totally caught my attention. I saw them at the rock festival and they really had talent. I found out that Koxx was related to a "master plan". I knew someone in Master Plan and talked to him about it and he said even Koxx was happy to work with me and so we worked together. Anyhow I found work from here and there.

Q:Koxx's voice colour in "party Rock", when you compare it to Gary's,
you could say it was somewhat feels like a young teenager?
A: Really? His real voice isn't like thay, but i think it is heard like that in this song. On the recording day, Gary must have been tired. His voice was really tired. So i was a bit worried. I thought ‘Would my voice suit his? His voice became a bit more husky...’ but I'm happy it did suit in the end.
Q: Did you make the lyrics first? I curious how songs are made.
A: When I was young I studied to create lyrics and rap making at the same time. Truthfully it was good then. I could write it in one go. But when that doesn't happen I make a concept and try to match it with the concept in both 1st and 2nd verse. Here i'll write this and here I'll write that. And then I make the flow. If you compare to a song its composing. You make the melody and create the rap making to suit that. Thinking of rhymes..
Q: How did this song progress?
A: For this song there are 2 things that are mixed. The good ones are made easily. And the ones that are hard to finish I try to find a way to finish it. Haha.

Q: You composed by yourself? There are story parts of like dating and others were in your song ,
Are these the stories you wanted to sing?
A:It's an Extended Play so I didnt want to go with anything heavy, So I made slightly light song as a title. Truthfully "Dirty" is a song about managing surroundings.  The lyrics are about my recent experiences. The songs i like are dance-able. I like those songs which you can turn on and dance to them.

Q: Still you would have a rap part which you put into a song about a story you wanted to tell,
do you have any expressions you are fond of?
A:From my 5th track "Leggo", ‘까만 밤 이 도신 어둠을 내려 숨겨온 진실함이 고개를 들게 해요. TV 화면 속에선 나 웃고 있는 듯해도 내 가슴속에선 구멍이 뚫린 듯 해요.’ parts like these.
Q:A feeling of your current status?
A: Yes. When people see me I am a member of BEG to them. "You made a lot of money, What kind of worries do you have" and think like this, but I really do have a quenched feeling which cannot be satisfied.

WAIT FOR PART 2..

Gain participated in composer Yoon Il Sang's 21st anniversary album.
Composer Yoon Il Sang's 21st anniversary album 'I'm 21' fourth digital single album will be released on the 21st of March. Brown Eyed Girls' Gain who finished their 4th album activities and is currently resting, along with Korea's best pink rock band No Brain were selected to sing in his 4th part of the single.
Gain hardly have any official regular activities after BEG's album activity. Narsha, Miryo, Jea each have their individual activities, in Gain's individual activity case, there is no plan announced. Her participation in this album is raising the fans' interest and expectation.
Gain sang '너만은 모르길' from As One's 2nd album. Yoon Il Sang expanded the starting with english lyrics in '너만을 모르길' and focuses from a dance song to a ballad. No Brain sang Kim Gun Mo's hit song '뻐꾸기 둥지위로 날아간 새'. Kim Gun Mo lightened up the topic by saying he recorded the song naked (?) in 1997 his 5th album title track '뻐꾸기 둥지위로 날아간 새'.
The album representative said, "Currently until the songs in the 3rd part, the arrangements were good but this 4th part single album, Gain and No Brain's music style surely will be a lively(?) song. From now on, please also await for the arrangements in 4th, 5th album."
'I'm 21' 4th digital single will be released on the 21st.

Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo honestly revealed that he is not good at singing though she is a singer.

Miryo was asked about her musical skills and she honestly and bravely answered "Of course I want to be a good singer, so I had tried to focus on my vocal training but it never got better. It's been 2~3 years since I admitted to myself that I'm not good at singing (laughs)."

She was asked once again about singing, she was asked if it is ok for a singer to be not good at singing and she cleverly said "I'm good at rap instead. Isn't it better to train what I'm good at than pretending to be good at something I'm not?"
