Singer IU and gagwoman Shin Bong Sun participated as guests in the recording of SBS 'Running Man'.

On May 2nd, according to sources from 'Running Man', IU and Shin Bong Sun were involved in the filming session at Daegu Stadium since morning.

The filming concept follows a format which is that members on the show have to search for hidden guests amidst the crowds, while members of the production crew are careful to hide the identity of the guests.

However, the residents who witnessed the filming tweeted, "Today's 'Running Man' guests are IU and Shin Bong Sun'", resulting in the identities of the guests being exposed.

In the show 'Heroes', which ended on May 1st, IU and Shin Bong Sun showed great teamwork and drew much attention for their similarity in physical attributes, thus their appearance on 'Running Man' is highly anticipated. Hopefully, being able to watch them on this show after 'Heroes' will appease frustrated fans.

On a recent recording of KBS Happy Together 3, they discussed a topic which has been brought up a lot. It's the public opinion of IU is Shin Bongsun's lookalike.

To this, IU agreed that she resembles Shin Bongsun. She said, "My fans are all calling me Shin Bongsun 2 now. Even I think I that we look alike!"

Shin Bongsun replied, "When my mother saw IU on television programmes, she said that IU looks exactly like my aunt when she was young."

Another MC of Happy Together, "Yoo Jaesuk" was apparently struck speechless by Shin Bongsun's remark and said, "I absolutely cannot acknowledge that."

He was very shocked and agitated that it is said that filming was even suspended midway.

Comedian Kim Junho, who was also invited on the show, denied the claim vehemently, "Shin Bongsun is known amongst comedians for resembling animals like frogs and gorillas. There is no way she looks like IU."

The singer appeared on MBC FM4U’s ‘Pond and Dreaming Radio‘ and answered the following question from one of the listeners: “What do you think when you hear that you look like Shin Bong Sun?“. She laughed it off and answered, “My mom says I look like her too“.

She continued, “Sometimes I even think I look like her. I think our eyes and mouth area look similar. When I first saw her, I was surprised because she looked much prettier than I expected. If you keep looking at her, she is very pretty and also has a lot of charms”.

The MCs, Yoo Se Yoon and Yoo Sang Moo, said “Shin Bong Sun is our junior; she surprisingly cries easily and has a lot of charms“.

MC Jang Dong Min joked, “Shin Bong Sun, you can’t send in questions like this!“, making the entire cast laugh.

A member of an online celebrity open board created a topic named “IU = Shin Bongsun”, and posted a picture of the two facing the same way while staring at a 45 degree angle. Both are also slightly biting their lips and have fringes that reach their eyebrows.

Several netizens defended IU by saying, “This is an insult to her”, while others said, “If you take a quick glance, it’s hard to tell them apart.” What do you think of the comparison?

Idol group BEAST could not hide their astonishment at Shin Bong Sun's cooking skills.

On the July 28th episode of MBC Every1's 'Idol Maid', Shin Bong Sun made food for BEAST, who had starved since breakfast. Taking in the members' suggestions, she made kimchi jjigae, and the anticipation for the dish grew larger and larger as it neared completion.

However, the BEAST members' expectations fell short. Even Shin Bong Sun, who was the cook, took one sip and confessed, "This cannot be eaten". She continued to the members, "Don't drink the soup and just eat the kimchi. It's salty", warning them beforehand.

With the exclusion of Jang Hyun Seung, who has a strange taste, the rest of the members expressed the taste of the kimchi jjigae with their entire body. Yang YoSeob, who said that "it smells good", convulsed after eating the kimchi jjigae and made everyone laugh. Finally, the magnae Son Dong Woon put water in his rice, and the members followed suit. Yoon DooJoon, while putting water in his rice, complained, "This is the first time I've had to put water in my rice since middle school".

On this episode, the BEAST members laundered their bedsheets with Shin BongSun, revealing the shocking fact that their blankets had not been washed for 9 months.

Shin Bongsun showed her cooking skills for idol group BEAST.

Shin Bongsun showed her kimchi jjigae (*T/N: Kimchi Jjigae is like kimchi soup) for BEAST who missed home-made food on the variety program ‘Idol Maid’ which airs on MBC every1.

Recently during recording of ‘Idol Maid,’ BEAST said, “It’s been almost a year since we’ve had home-made food from our moms” and “I want to have home-made food” as they shared to Shin Bongsun. As a maid, Shin Bongsun showed her cooking skills in making home-made food for BEAST.

But different from their expectations, BEAST was shocked in tasting the kimchi jjigae but didn’t leave a single bit left as they ate all of the food Shin Bongsun made as she was touched.

BEAST cooked with shin Bongsun saying, “This is the first time you could smell something cooking in our dorm” and showed their gratitude to their maid Shin Bongsun.

Meanwhile, ‘Idol Maid’ is when a fake helper is put into an idol group’s dorm as they care for them and does household chores.

BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon showed his variety skills which brought much attention.

Yoon Doojoon showed his variety skills through MBC every1’s real program ‘Idol Maid’ in which they show the daily life of BEAST.

While filming for ‘Idol Maid’ and when Shin Bongsun, whom is playing the role of the helper, asked Yoon Doojoon to buy the ingredients for the kimchi jjigae she would be making, he said, “I trust Bongsun nuna’s cooking skills but it could not taste that great. Since we’re unsure, we have to be prepared” as he bought an instant kimchi jjigae, showing his meticulous side as well as being the new generation’s entertainer.

Not only that but the members of BEAST played a game of ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ in which the loser had to go to the laundry mat in the hot weather with their blankets that they haven’t washed for over a year. Yoon Doojoon and Yang Yoseob gave each other a sign as they purposely got Lee Kikwang, whom is currently in ‘Hot Bros,’ to do it.

This episode will air July 28th at 6PM as you can see for yourself.

Shin Bongsun hosted a ‘Beast Ideal World Cup’ on the recording for MBC Every1’s ‘Idol Maid.’ On this day, for the final round, Shin Bongsun was stuck in between Lee Kikwang and Yoon Doojoon but chose Yoon Doojoon as BEAST’s best face.

Although Shin Bongsun was alone with Lee Kikwang, she showed her affections in still choosing Yoon Doojoon.

Also, the word is that BEAST’s magnae Son Dongwoon didn’t make it into the top three for good looks amongst BEAST although it was revealed that he was a part of Shin Bongsun’s line in the first episode of ‘Idol Maid.’
