Yang Yoseob ranked 4Minute in order of looks.

On the January 30th broadcast of MBC Every1′s “Weekly Idol,” Sohyun, Gayoon and Jiyoon tried to guess Yoseob’s ranking of 4Minute’s members.

Gayoon said, “I believe that Yoseob oppa ranked Hyun Ah first, and ranked me last.  Because he is the most awkward around Hyun Ah, and closer to me [so I think he choose accordingly.]“

Jiyoon commented, “Since Yoseob oppa doesn’t like hurting people he is not very close to, we think he would rank us that way.”

The girls tried to guess and chose the following ranking:

1. Hyun Ah (Most awkward around her)
2. Jihyun (Awkward around her)
3. Sohyun (Just awkward)
4. Jiyoon (Friendly)
5. Gayoon (Very close to her)

MC Jung Hyung Don replied, “You had first and last place right but the rest is wrong.”

Yoseob’s ranking based on looks:

1. Hyun Ah!! Reason: “Because she is pretty!!”
2. Sohyun!! Reason: “Because she is cute!!”
3. Jihyun!! Reason: “Because she is tall (taller than me)”
4. Jiyoon!! Reason: She’s prettier than Gayoon.
5. Gayoon!! Reason: Because she has very small hands, like an elementary school student!!

On that episode, the members also called Hyun Ah whose reaction upon hearing the ranking was “Woohoo.”

The comments from the other judges on the show teaches me as well.

BEAST member Yang Yoseob (in the picture), Yoon Sang, and Seo Inyoung have come together to be come the new set of judge coaches. As much as audition programs have been loved in the past, the judges have received the love of the viewers as well. From these many judges, Yang Yoseob is the first idol singer that is currently active to become a judge for an audition program. The reason he became a coach was because of his exceptional vocals even though he is an idol singer and also because of his high popularity among kids and grade level students. The staff agreed that he will be able to give them feedback that matches their eye level. In reality, most, if not all, kids and grade level students at the preliminary auditions wanted coach Yang Yoseob to be their teacher.

- You are receiving a "love call" from the contestants. What might be the reason for that?
“It is probably because from the judges, I am the one who achieved my goals most recently. Because of that, I end up looking at the contestants as if I had traveled back in time to my own trainee days."

- You must be really pressured too...
“To be honest, I'm really worried. Until now, the judges were people with a lot of experience and professionalism in their field. I am worried that my lacking experiences and professionalism will hinder the dreams of one kid. As a coach, I believe that my role is to help bring out the positive side of the kid by making him/her feel comfortable at heart."

- You gain a lot by teaching others as well. 
“Comparing myself when I was the age of the contestants to the contestants, my abilities and skills are much lacking. Looking at the passion of the kids makes me return to my initial mindset as well. In addition, comments from Yoon Sang and Seo Inyoung sunbaenims are very important teachings for me as well."

- It seems like there are lot of students and kids wanting to be singers.
“I think it's a shame to see people wanting to be singer for the fame and extravagance. Studying is hard, but becoming a singer is much more difficult than that. There are things you earn from it, but I want to tell the little kids that there are much more you need to give up too."

Jonghyun and Taemin will be taking part in KBS Gayo Daejun's special rock band stage titled "Idol Super Band". B2ST's Yoseob, Infinite's L, 2AM's Changmin and Jinwoon, CN Blue's Minhyuk, and B1A4's Jinyoung will also be taking part.

Idols involved in Idol Super Band will be singing a medley of songs by their sunbaes from the 90's.

KBS Gayo Daejun will air on December 28th at 8:50 PM KST.

Beast member Yang Yoseob’s fan club is working on a heartwarming donation project.
 
They gathered together to celebrate the release of Yoseob’s first solo album and his upcoming birthday (2013 Jan 05). They did a funding project through the website Incujector.
 
On December 20th, Yoseob's fan club including 48 members donated over 1.06 million won. All of the funds are currently planned to go to Cafe Moa which works on behalf of the visually impaired.
 
The fan club donated to a non-profit three years ago and also donated 100 kg of rice to celebrate Yoseob’s album just released in November and received so much appreciation for their warm hearts.

Not long after being announced as winners, Yang Yoseob has encouraged viewers to vote in the upcoming election on the 19th December.

BEAST has won one of the three Daesangs, ‘Artists of the Year’ award on MMA on the 14th of December.

BEAST who were two consecutive winners of ‘Artist of the Year’, were also awarded TOP 10 of the Melon Music Awards, and Netizens Popularity Award, totaling up to 3 awards for that day.


While expressing their thoughts, after Yang Yoseob expressed his gratitude to everyone, he lifted the trophy and shouted, “Let’s vote!”, reminding everyone on their seats to vote for the 18th General Election, hence, has gained attention.

Yang Yoseob has revealed his way of rejecting those of the opposite sex.

BEAST Yang Yoseob said, “I’m really a good guy”, causing laughter among MC Yoo HeeYeol and the audience.
With this, Yoo HeeYeol made up a situation to try to observe Yang Yoseob’s response. Yoo HeeYeol asked, “One day you went out to meet a girl. She isn’t your type but she likes you very much. What will you do?”

Yang Yoseob then followed by, “I don’t beat around the bush. I will say nicely, “I’m sorry but I think you’re not my style”.

Yoo HeeYeol who wanted to trick Yang Yoseob  said, “So do you dislike healthy women? (as in well-build women)”, once again leading to laughter.

Yang Yoseob has opened up the fact about BEAST’s earnings distribution.

On ‘Yoo HeeYeol’s Sketchbook’, MC Yoo HeeYeol mentioned about the advantage of having a group activity, and he said, “While you’re having your solo promotions, you don’t have to distribute your earnings in 1/n”, causing laughter.

Towards this, Yang Yoseob explained, “All the members themselves agreed to this method of  distributing income” and, ” We were misunderstood about ‘Why Lee Kikwang and Yoon Doojoon having lots of schedule, and you guys who are resting gets to earn income’. But actually, we were earning money from places that can’t be seen.” (ie, from elsewhere)

With Yang Yoseob’s serious explanation, Yoo HeeYeol jokingly said, “Your eyes are getting wet”

On the December 14th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘, B2ST‘s Yoseob had viewers laughing as he commented that he likes a woman who can protect him, rather than the other way around!

MC Yoo Hee Yeol presented Yoseob with the hypothetical situation, “Let’s say you met a woman but didn’t really like her. But that woman says that she’s crazy in love with you. How will you reject her?” To which Yoseob answered, “I won’t beat around the bush. I won’t say it like a bad buy, and would just tell her straightforwardly. I will politely tell her I’m sorry but you’re not my style and leave there”, impressing the audience with his frank nature.

However, the ooh’s and ahh’s of the audience soon turned into laughs as Yoo Hee Yeol further asked,“What if the girl asks ‘is it because I work out a lot?’ Are you scared of women who are really into [building up their muscles]?”

Yoseob then commented, “I like women who like working out. I like women who are into health, who can protect me,” having the audience burst out in laughs.

Yang Yoseob has made his comeback.

Yang Yoseob has shot off his promotions with his first comeback stage on KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’ on the 30th.

On this day, Yang Yoseob satisfied fans who have waited long enough with ‘Even though, I’ and ‘Caffeine’.

With the first stage, ‘Even Though, I’, Yang Yoseob put on a stage with his sweet voice. As he sings, Yang Yoseob let out a slight smile and together with his singing capabilities, he managed to capture female’s hearts

On the second stage ‘Caffeine’, Yoseob has showcased his never before seen singing abilities as a BEAST member. Wearing a black and red suit, the stage was intense the moment Yang Yoseob appeared on stage. Although he did not utilize any wires in the wire dance shown in his MV, Yang Yoseob’s dancing skills have actually overshadowed the fact that there weren’t any wire dance. Yoseob showed a solid live with the addictive melody of ‘Caffeine’.

The members of BEAST have wished Yang Yoseob a great debut with ‘Caffeine’, gathering hot responses.

On the 26th of November, Yang Yoseob released his first ever solo album with title track, ‘Caffeine’. Not long after ‘Caffeine’ was released, it has charted the top spots of various real charts on music sites, proving its popularity.

After Yang Yoseob’s ‘Caffeine’ has been released, BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon wrote a witty support message on twitter, “Let Yang Yoseob be great. I’m addicted to Americano so you will do well. Hwaiting”. Yoon Doojoon is currently abroad for his schedule, yet he did not forget to support Yang Yoseob.


Son DongWoon too, “Yoseobie-Hyung first solo album has released. I love it love it. Claps to JunHyungie-hyung and Yoseobie-hyung who had worked hard”. Yong JunHyung who was in charge of producing the album left a message as well, “I hope the song will make your day a little better”.

Meanwhile, not long after Yang Yoseob’s ballad ‘Caffeine’ was released, it has garnered praises as a ballad that is filled with emotions. Through ‘Caffeine’, maturer and thicker emotions was expressed, and has gathered anticipation.

Yang Yoseob will be making his live solo debut on music programs this week.
