News viewers were in for a surprise on February 20 when actress Lee Na Young appeared as a guest on the KBS current affairs program “New Line.”

On the show, the 33-year-old actress talked about her new movie “Howling,” which was released on February 16, as well as her marriage and how it feels to grow older.

“I like the role of a female detective leading the case,” Lee said about what attracted her to act in the movie alongside Song Kang Ho in “Howling.”

The actress also said that Song helped her analyze the plot and get into character. “He’s an absolute genius,” gushed Lee.

When asked about the difference between playing a serious role as she did in “Howling” and being a model in a TV commercial, Lee said she strived to be her best in both settings.

“I want to look great in both commercials and movies, but obviously the difference is that in a movie I need to focus on my acting to appear beautiful. A commercial is a 15-second piece that strives for high impact, so it may be that I look better in a commercial than in a movie,” Lee said.

The show’s hosts also asked her about her age – often a touchy subject – but Lee wasn’t fazed, asserting that she wasn’t threatened by the prospect of turning 34. She treated questions about marriage in a similar fashion, saying that tying the knot is something she looks forward to, but that it’s not high on her agenda right now.

Year 2008 when the first rumor of Bae Yong Joon getting married or some rumors even say already married arises but it was completely denied by the agency. Another one was last year and this time Bae Yong Joon already was the one who firmly denied the rumor and even stated that the issue is groundless.

The unending rumor of marriage haven't yet ended.

According to the Japanese weekly Asahi, they said that both are going to tie the knot this April and as a an evidence, Bae Yong Joon bought a house in Seoul's exclusive Seongbuk-dong. Suspicions arise as they said this will be the house of Lee Nayoung and Bae Yong Joon after they get married.

But to make it clear to everybody and to cut this rumor to end, THE MARRIAGE THIS APRIL IS NOT TRUE.

KeyEast, Bae Young Joon's company, declared that the rumor is completely false and the report is equally unfounded. And also for the Asahi report who started the fire, the Japanese agency will deal with the report and to pour water to the issue.

Runaway Plan B is wrapped and off the air, but lead actress Lee Na-young has yet to see a single cent from it, and is taking legal steps to claim her salary.

To that end, she has filed suit against producers with the Seoul Central District Court demanding the unpaid wages, according to her management company Keyeast. This comes after the drama that boasted a 10 billion won budget had trouble securing funding mid-shoot, troubled by ever-dropping ratings. Lee isn’t the only one who hasn’t been paid; other supporting cast members and crew are also waiting. According to management reps, other stars in the main cast like Rain, Daniel Henney, and Yoon Jin-seo have received some pay, though the rest is still outstanding.

A source with the production company promised to negotiate the matter, but it remains to be seen how long that might take if the problem is that there are no funds to be paid.

A goodnight kiss, to be exact. Daniel Henney plays the gentle protector to Lee Na Young in the upcoming action drama Runaway, which is a character type I’ve nicknamed “The Bae Soo-bin” in my mind. Then again, it’s a familiar role for Henney as well, so maybe I should just call it The Henney.

In the drama, his character is a wealthy shipping magnate named Kai who loves Jin Yi (Lee). She in turn deliberately approaches Ji Woo (Rain) for her own goals, which remain a mystery to us.

In this scene, Kai gives Jin Yi a “loving kiss” on the forehead, although reportedly the two actors stood back and traded embarrassed laughs as as soon as the “cut” notice was given by the director.

This is Lee Na-young’s first drama in six years, ever since Ireland in 2004. Daniel Henney’s last K-drama was 2006′s Spring Waltz. Both have done movies in the interim, such as Sad Dream and Dad Likes Women in her case, and My Father and X-Men Origins: Wolverine in his.

Runaway is a romantic-comedy action series created by the PD and writer of Chuno, and will air on KBS in September.

Actress Yoon Son Ha, who has been acting in Japan, will make a comeback to Korean TV dramas after three years away with the KBS drama “Runaway,” in which Rain (real name Jung Ji Hoon) will appear as a main protagonist.

According to a spokesperson for the production company of “Runaway” on July 7, Yoon Son Ha will play a femme fatale character named Hwang Mi Jin, who will approach detective Ji Woo (Jung Ji Hoon) to kill him.

Yoon Son Ha debuted as an actress through a KBS open recruitment in 1994 and went into the Japanese entertainment industry in 2000. By appearing on various programs, she established a solid foothold in Japan and successfully established her name as an actress when she appeared in the drama “Good Luck” with star Japanese actor Kimura Takuya. She has come back to Korean dramas for the first time in three years since she appeared in the SBS drama “Lover” in 2007.

Her agency quoted what Yoon Son Ha had said about appearing in the drama, stating, “I am very glad to be cast in a good drama which will be produced with the best producers. I will transform into a femme fatale character in the drama, so I want you to watch my transformation in the drama.”

The drama “Runaway,” which will begin airing from the end of September, is about people who are chasing an astronomical amount of money, and it is notable that writer Chun Sung Il and producing director Kwak Jung Hwan, who worked together in the KBS drama “The Slave Hunters,” have formed a production team again.

Rain, Lee Na Young, Daniel Henney, and Lee Jung Jin have been cast as the main actors, and Japanese character actor Naoto Takenaka and a member of the Japanese group “Speed,” Uehara Takako, will also appear in the drama.
