Actor Kang Dong Won has recently joined Song Hye Kyo’s agency.

On April 22, United Artist Agency (UAA) has announced that they recently signed Kang Dong Won. The agency added, “We expect Kang Dong Won to have a synergy effect together with UAA, which offers integrated service of a new concept.”

UAA is a company co-founded by UP (United Pictures), a movie investment production company, and a law firm The Firm in the first half of 2012. It also signed a joint business agreement Terence Chang’s ATN, and EFFIGIES, a European agency which has its head office in Paris.

Kang Dong Won is preparing to film a movie after being discharged from the army in 2012.

It has been announced that actor Kang Dong Won and actress Shin Min Ah are set to pair up for director Kim Jee Woon’s upcoming short film, tentatively entitled ‘Hide & Seek’.

‘Hide & Seek’ will be director Kim Jee Woon’s first project since his Hollywood debut with ‘Last Stand’. The project is part of a promotion for new theater technology “Screen X” developed by the multiplex franchise CGV.

The short film revolves around a secretive man known as X (Kang Dong Won), carrying a mysterious object in a heart-stopping chase. Shin Min Ah will take up the role of his girlfriend Mi-a.

‘Hide & Seek’ is set to release in theatres sometime in spring.

Actor Kang Dong Won, who just finished his military service over a month ago, was recently spotted attending a fashion show in Paris.

On January 21st, fashion director Shim Woo Chan shared photos of the actor on his Twitter and wrote, “True handsomeness stands up at anywhere. Kang Dong Won was the most handsome one at a fashion show.”

In one photo, Kang Dong Won is sitting in the middle of the crowd and waiting for the collection to start. Shim Woo Chan also wrote, “This photo is amazing! He's in Europe, but he’s still so tall,” and shared a photo of the actor giving a bright smile to the camera.

Actor Kang Dong Won has been officially discharged from the military after two years of active duty. To commemorate the event, the actor released a video as a gift for the fans who waited for him.

On November 12th, a video was released on YouTube with the title, “Kang Dong Won in a day.” The video, which was recorded prior to Kang Dong Won’s enlistment, showed the actor visiting several places in Seoul.

Kang Dong Won joined the army in October, 2010 and has been doing alternative service for about two years.

miss A’s Suzy has stated that she would like to have dinner with her ideal type, actor Kang Dong Won.

On the recent episode of SBS Power FM’s ‘Jung Sun Hee’s A Night Like Tonight’ that aired on October 23, miss A appeared as guests. The group talked about their latest album and well being.

When asked about their ideal types from celebrities, Suzy answered right away with Kang Dong Won while Fei and Min picked Won Bin.

Suzy explained, “I like Kang Dong Won’s double eyelid. I watched the movie ‘Jeon Woochi : The Taoist Wizard’ seven times just to look at him.”

She added, “If I get a chance to have a date with Kang Dong Won for a week, I want to go and have a nice dinner with him.”

Meanwhile, miss A released their latest song “I Don’t Need A Man” and came back for the first time in 8 months.

SISTAR’s Hyorin expressed her unconditional love for actor Kang Dong Won!

On May 27th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Section TV – Star Ranking’, Hyorin made her appearance as one of the female celebrities who picked actor Kang Dong Won as their ideal type.

During the broadcast, Hyorin could not contain her excitement upon receiving the life-size panel of Kang Dong Won’s photo to which she immediately hugged.

Hyorin left a video message to her rivals, saying, “I don’t know how long you guys have liked Kang Dong Won, but I really liked him since I was born.”

Meanwhile, Hyorin’s rivals included KARA’s Seungyeon and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon.

Kang Dong Won confessed about his experience of having a one-sided love before.

During a media interview Kang Dong Won was asked, “Have you ever been stressed because of love?”  He answered, “I’ve had a crush before.” He continued “It’s been a while, and I’ve already said this on a show once. Well, there weren’t many, but I’ve had some. Did you think I wouldn’t?”

Other then that, Kang’s upcoming movie, Psychic, will hit Korean cinemas on November 10. Kang will be portraying a man who possesses supernatural powers, yet desires to live a normal life.
