Have the twins been mistaken for each other before? Youngmin reveals that he once received a gift meant for Kwangmin, and then secretly passed the gift to Kwangmin. “I differentiate them by looking at their jawlines. Youngmin’s jawline is more softer-looking whereas Kwangmin’s jawline is sharper”, Jeongmin said. Kwangmin laugh awkwardly, saying that he gained weight.

The twins also have different ideal types of girls.

Kwangmin prefers girls who are more carefree and does not bother too much about little details. He also added that he will confess his love for her in public. Youngmin prefers girls who have a clear gaze and does aegyo. He will confess by only saying the phrase “I love you!”.When asked whether they have confessed before, they laughed and denied it.

Okay, we're calling it, right here, right now. Kpop is going to be 2012's hottest trend. Straight out of Seoul, these acts are already bringing their edgy, high-end style and infectious tunes all over the world. Asia knows what we're talking about. Europe is already obsessed. South America goes gaga for these multi-talented superstars. And North America? The craze has already started with the hottest Korean acts selling out Madison Square Garden in NYC, the Staples Center in LA, and the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas — just to name a few places. For those of you who haven't yet become ingrained, we're here to present to you a little primer to get in on the action. We're giving you the rundown on four of the hottest Kpop artists that are headed for world domination, the songs you need to hear, and, of course, the styles you're going to want to copy. Memorize these names, people. Let the obsession begin.

The Lowdown — Forget any thoughts of sugary tunes, frilly dresses, and cutesy looks — the girls behind 2NE1 are badasses and are proud of it. Consisting of CL, Sandara, Park Bom, and Minzy, these girls have already taken the world by storm with their hip-hop infused songs. They've even going so far as to declare "I Am The Best" in their latest hit (which has already racked up numerous awards this year). You might think they're being boastful, but it's kind of hard to disagree — their thumping beats, unique and versatile voices, ability to drop rhymes like the best of them, and their flawless style have already earned them the attention of Will.i.Am, who has produced several of their tracks. The group just won MTV Iggy's Best Band in the World contest, which has earned them their first concert in NYC. But then again, their awards shelf is not exactly empty — they've earned no less than 40 other awards and 74 nominations in the past two years since they made their debut. If any group is poised to take over the world, it's this one.

Their Style — 2NE1's style isn't for the faint of heart. These girls prove that, no, you can't have too many layers of color, texture, and pattern in any given outfit. 2NE1 are usually decked out in leather, patterned leggings, graphic tees, and piles of jewelry — and some sky-high heels to top it all off. They're also not afraid to rock a hairstyle that's a little less than normal — whether it's bright blue, red, or sticking out at an angle we can't compute without a protractor. Designer Jeremy Scott numbers among the group's devoted followers, and has even collaborated with them to create a line of his iconic winged kicks. But while their image may be loud and in-your-face, these girls certainly aren't afraid of their feminine side. Every now and then, you'll see them in a sleek little LBD, but rest assured — they might just accessorize with a pointy-shouldered blazer, or a nail-studded bra.

Jeremy Scott Skeleton Big Sweater, $1,035, available at Opening Ceremony; Topshop Black Aztec Print Leggings, $40, available at Topshop; Dries Van Noten Cacey Contrast Print Blouse, $569, available at My Theresa; Dr. Martens Izzue Stud Boots, $240, available at Dr. Martins; Style Stalker Viper Room Bustier, $125, available at Glassworks Studios.

Their Songs

I Am The Best — With a title like "I Am The Best," the subject of this song needs little introduction — let's just say the lyrics contain Kanye-level boasting. Not that we mind — 2NE1 is kind of the best, and we're totally smitten with how they manage to be both eclectic and totally glam at the same time.

Ugly — "Ugly" showcases 2NE1's refusal to sugar-coat anything. While the lyrics are downright depressing (the chorus, sung in English, pretty much says it all), we appreciate that 2NE1 uses this anthem-like song to dive head first into those feelings of hopelessness and self-loathing that we all feel at one point or another in our lives.

Follow Me — This hypnotic, techno-heavy song features some of the most fantastic fashion 2NE1 has ever done, plus their moves are pretty sweet. Even though we've already bedazzled a pumpkin for Halloween, we're thinking of following CL's lead and bedazzling our faces next year.

Luna (f(x)) This lead vocal from the girl group with the unique concept f(x) also has amazing dance skills, and these things will never fail to make you fall for her. Luna is the first member out of the five who started to star in musicals and did her job naturally. Her debut musical was "Legally Blonde", and a senior from the same agency, Girls' Generation's Jessica has starred in this musical before her. When the musical was decided to be reenacted, it was decided that Luna would star in the musical. Luna's musical debut did not become a hot topic but fellow actors as well as the companies were informed that Luna had a sincere personality as well as other qualities, allowing Luna to be evaluated admirably. Not long after that, Luna was chosen to be a strong, full-of-energy, and aspiring character in the musical "Coyote Ugly". She fit the role very well, and was similar to the original actress for the musical, and this resulted in a satisfying result despite the result the crew had to take. Luna's crisp vocals and powerful dance happen to be her specialties. Out of the 10 idol stars [that were covered in the full article], Luna seems to be a rare case because truthfully, she has a really healthy image and a positive energy which appeal to people. This was proven during her appearance through her improvisations, and she would need to broaden her musical involvements.

2NE1 Attends the Daegu Athletics Championship Event!

On September 1st, people who went to the Daegu Athletics Championships, were able to see Korea’s hottest and best stars, 2NE1, as they visited the Adidas booth at Daegu Stadium.

Fun Activities While Waiting For 2NE1!

When it was announced that 2NE1 would be visiting at 5:00PM, many people from different ages, including a lot of high school students and even an old grandpa, went to the Adidas booth early to catch them. While waiting for 2NE1, a lot of pre-event activities were held to entertain everybody, including a photo session and games, where the winners would get their prizes directly from 2NE1.

I Am The Best! Clad in Adidas Products, Best Sense of Style, 2NE1!

Even though they were late for 30 minutes, the people still waited for 2NE1 excitedly, not minding the heat of the day.

As they are known in the entertainment industries as fashionistas, 2NE1 did not disappoint when they appeared in their Adidas ensemble, with a distinct color coordinated outfit for each member; with her pink jersey matched with black undershirt and shorts, Park Bom showed her sporty side, while Gong Minji donned a purple jersey with matching pants; with her funky hairstyle and all black jersey, CL emitted charisma, while with her bright yellow jersey, Sandara Park looked even more cute and fresh! Right after they made their appearance, a lot of camera flashes and cheers went up for these trendy fashion icons as they stayed in the Adidas booth.

Sandara Park gave a cute message and cheer for the World Athletics Championship, as Gong Minji tried her hand at the shot put, followed by a media photo time. After the photo time ended, 2NE1 members sent tweets to Adidas Twitter Followers directly, asking for their comments and feedback, while Gong Minji directly tweeted using her own fan account.

Sandara Park Is A Game Genius? At Once Made A World Record!

The Adidas booth was located at the ground floor, where AdiZero Feather was exhibited, 2NE1 went their directly, followed by people who ran after them. With its light, 190g weight and dazzling color, “Bomtori“ Park Bom couldn’t stop looking and exploring the AdiZero Feather. Also on the ground floor, near the back, was an exhibit which showed the history of Adidasl the girls and other people, also showed a lot of history into how the brand was made.

Various games were on the second floor booth, where people could experience different athletic games, and 2NE1 was first challenged to do the discus throwing game. Sandara Park was the first to step up to the challenge, and when she achieved a “world record” on her first attempt at the discus throwing game, she surprised the booth staff, the press, and the audience; charismatic leader, CL, also tried out the challenge.

Sandara Park continued to play amazingly. The second challenge was dart games, and she hit the dartboard’s center when she tried, making Minji’s eyes widen in surprise and causing Bom to jump and cheer excitedly as she made the hit. Doesn’t Dara look really cute holding up the dart pins in her hands?

Lastly was the awarding of the pre-event winners, where leader CL handed out the awards, with the 2NE1 members backing her up on stage. The winners were also given the chance to take pictures with 2NE1 in the Adidas booth, making good memories. Unfortunately, the adventure was too short.

Until the next time, I hope you enjoyed the report!

JYJ became honorary ambassadors for Jeju Island as part of its bid to become one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. JYJ started activities to promote the island and encouraged us, the fans, to vote for Jeju.

As we love JYJ so much, and we also like Korea from the bottom of our hearts, we started voting for Jeju Island in order to help Korea and make JYJ happy. We did this believing and trusting in JYJ because we know that the boys are always more than happy to help others. Spreading the love for Jeju Island was something that they did from their hearts.

We are a group of fans from Spain that truly love and follow all JYJ’s activities. Because of them we have learnt to love Korea and its wonderful people. We don’t understand how it is possible that, just four days before their appearance on the KBS special program, they have received a notification of cancellation.

We can’t just sit and wait anymore. This situation needs to stop. JYJ have been messed around once again. They have given their all, and this is what they get in return. They are not puppets, they are human beings, they are artists. And we, the fans, are also human beings, we have been teased as well.

There are two girls from Spain that were supposed to travel to Jeju Island to see JYJ performing live and give them support. Now they have just lost their dream. There were also lots of fans travelling from Japan as well. Does anybody from KBS care about this? We feel very disappointed. JYJ doesn’t deserve this kind of disrespectful treatment, neither do we the fans. We are complaining about being used this way, we feel cheated. It’s not right to use JYJ, or any other artist, to get what you need from them, and then just cast them aside.

Please, show to the world that South Korea is a great nation and let JYJ appear on TV. Stop blocking them! This shouldn’t even happen.

Tower Records Summer Sale event from 20 June to 31 July is being held in collaboration with SHINee. A contemporary band with unlimited potential and enormous popularity all over Asia, what are they like? Here’s a close-up report of the poster making behind story!

SHINee came to Japan to participate in a live music event held in May. The photoshoot was done in the event make-up room. They greeted the staff who visited the waiting room, “Thanks for your work!,” “Nice to meet you!” in Japanese they are studying.

We took a solo photo of each member. Beginning with Key-goon. The Summer Sale’s concept is “Let’s Listen to Music Now.” When the staff explained the visual concept, “With a happy expression you make listening to music,” Key-goon changed his facial expression for himself even before the camera man made requests.

The letters “Let’s Listen to Music Now” used on the poster and the fan were written by Key-goon. A very polite and beautiful handwriting. True to his nickname, Almighty Key.

Next is Leader Onew-goon. He showed a wonderful smile at the moment the shooting started. Good service with his playful face and humorous expressions!

Then, the youngest member Taemin-goon. He engaged himself in the shooting seriously checking the monitor. The camera man muttered to himself, “A pretty face…”

At the next Jonghyun’s turn, other members all gathered to watch his shooting. Monitoring the computer screen, Minho-goon made orders like “Smile more!,” “Hyung! make your face like this!” to Jonghyun-goon.

Key-goon joined the lively circle to watch Jonghyun-goon.

While receiving all attention, Jonghyun remained undisturbed and showed a cool look.

The last was Minho-goon’s solo shot. He played with Taemin-goon or talked with the staff or other members as a mood maker until right before the shooting started, but he changed into a different person when he sat before the camera. The camera man praised, “You have pretty eyes!”

Only the solo photos are posted, but they observed seriously other members’ shooting. It was impressive they get along well and stimulate each other. They were very lively checking dance moves or humming while talking in between the solo photoshoots. Their topics were endless. Brilliantly shining 5 members of SHINee!

Androgynous. Fierce. Bad*ss. 2NE1 definitely made a scorching hot comeback on Inkigayo with their latest single, 'I Am The Best'. With the MV delayed, Blackjacks were eagerly anticipating the first live performance of the song. Among the excited pack, YGL had more than 900 Blackjacks online to cheer for 2NE1's comeback stage, making it the highest number of simultaneous online user we ever had. With a plethora of groups making a comeback, 2NE1 surely made a statement with this intensified, show-stopping performance.

2NE1 picked a quite an opportune time to have their comeback, as last night's episode of SBS Inkigayo was filled with great stages. SBS' yearly Summer Special is designed to celebrate the return of summer and boasts great collaboration stages and tributes. This isn't 2NE1's first Summer Special, the girls introduced the Baek Kyoung Remix of I Don't Care during Inkigayo's 2009 Summer Special.

This may arguably be 2NE1's best music show interview segment. The girls’ interview with IU and f(x)’ Sulli was not only lit up by their clothes blazing with awesome, but also with their unique high-energy personalities soaring through the roof. Highlights of the talk wereDara’s promise to have more frequent Inkigayo stages and Bom’s doll-like figure. Dara professed how they missed everyone so much and assured hungry Blackjacks that they will be present in another Inki session next week while Bom revealed the new secret to her appealing figure: watermelons.

Shortly after Inki aired, netizens took to their keyboards to comment on Minzy and Dara's hair, and Bom's new "watermelon diet." Funny and informative, this interview was everything it was supposed to be.

It was long until the moment we have all been waiting for began. When Teddy talked about ‘I Am the Best’ being reminiscent of ‘Fire’, he was not kidding. The similarities did not end with catchy dance tunes because with their most recent release, 2NE1 really went back to their roots and embraced their original swag, style-wise.

Who's excited?

SHINee and all SM Ent idols went to the city of fashion, Paris, yesterday. Airport Fashion always so important to bring our idols a special image. It goes for SHINee too. Like always, our SHINee wear different style for each member.
Key wears Cheap Monday Moon Necklace in Rhodium. This is a bib necklace with moon shaped pendant and logo engraving by Cheap Monday.
Onew wore it too in Replay Japanese version MV.

You can find the necklace here

Idols always want to look bold and shining. But the leader, Onew, had his own style.Netizens called it as 'Haksaeng style' .With polo shirt, short pants and shoes. Apparently Onew wears gucci soad loafers. The price is affordable because it's an old design. He might buy it for a long time ago.

On Asian Place Japan Maagazine interview, each member of SHINee told their feeling toward their Japan debut. Compared with their Korean Debut in 2008, this Japanese Debut is another step to be more shining and bigger stars. They are already grew up, and have a very masculine body too. Read the translation below! I bold the interesting words from SHINee :)

- To begin with, congratulations on your debut in Japan! First, tell us about each member’s role or character.

Key: I’m SHINee’s energizer?

Minho: I think my nickname “flaming charisma” fits me very well for my character who dislikes giving up.

Taemin: I’m team’s maknae who is always adored by everyone? (laugh) I’ll show my aegyo a lot in Japan too.

Jonghyun: I’m in charge of being joyful, a character helpng smooth, adjusting things to go well

Onew: And I’m in charge of SHINee’s leader

- That’s very concise. How did you feel when you heard about your debut in Japan, and what did you do to prepare for it?

Minho: All our members were very happy. Frankly speaking, we got nervous but felt we’d love to show our music and performances to Japanese fans. While recording the debut song in Japanese we studied Japanese watching Japanese movies or dramas. I think it is part of the process of learning more about Japan.

Jonghyun: I’m glad we can study Japanese culture and contribute to cultural exchange between both countries

- We saw Key’s tears when you announced your Japan debut during your live in the Yoyogi stadium last year. Did you have lots of thoughts?

Key: First off, it was our fist time to perform on such a big stage. I couldn’t see the audience well when we started our live, but when I was able to see fans at the ending I was touched very much. And at the happy news about our debut in Japan, I was moved into tears.

Minho: It was meaningful because it was our first solo live.

Jonghyun: The ending song was “One.” When I glanced at Minho standing next to me, he was singing very sincerely. I got teary with lots of memories with members coming to my mind.

- Do you have such moments of feeling with members during your live?

Onew: Yes, we do so when we have eye contacts with each other on stage. We try to adjust through talk while practicing, but at the end, we can feel what other members are thinking through our eyes.

- While you spend time together, do you get influenced by each other, for instance, training or singing skills, or food taste?

Key: Yes! As for food, thanks to Taemin, I got to like meat, which I didn’t like that much before.

Taemin: (Looking at Key) my way of thinking has changed a little. I thought I would change naturally inside when I turn 20, but now I think someone doesn’t change like that simply because he gets older (laugh).

Jonghyun: Taemin now likes exercising at a gym thanks to Minho and me? (laugh)

Taemin: Right, we get to learn from each other. I learn about singing from Onew hyung and Jonghyun hyung, Minho hyung gives me advice. Key hyung gives me tips related to fashion.

- You mention fashion. What is your fashion point as fashion leaders?

Key: I think our concept is ‘contemporary boys’ that is what SHINee are, natural, cool, and friendly.

- What music and dance styles do you like?

Key: I listen to almost all the new songs I like. I like urban (modern dance music with rap) and pops.

Minho: I like R&B or ballad, and like tough dance performance.

Taemin: I think music and dance are the same in the end in delivering music. I like songs with strong beat I can show dance performance to.

Jonghyun: I listen to punky music like Maroon5 or T.O.P. Recently I’m learning guitar.

Onew: I like and listen to old pop a lot.

- You like different styles. What ritual do you have before recording?

Taemin: I do vocal exercises, pull my voice together, and drink lots of water

Minho: Before recording, I practice listening to the song several times. It makes me feel less nervous and feel like I can sing better.

Onew: It’s important to practice listening to the song again and again.

Jonghyun: I try to understand the lyrics completely, and then to sing to express the feelings

- Then, what do you do before your performance on stage?

Minho: We stand in a circle and shout “Fighting~”

Taemin: Shouting “Fighting!” helps clear our throat (laugh). So we can’t skip “Fighting!”

- Your debut song Replay is the Japanese version of your song released in Korea in 2008. How did you feel singing it again in Japanese?

Onew: I think we find its charm again and again every time we listen to it. The charm doesn’t change even when we sing it in Japanese.

Jonghyun: That’s why the song is titled Replay (laugh).

Onew: Right! Once you listen to it, you can’t get out of it.

- The song conveys this feeling of being sorry because she doesn’t know your heart, feeling tender toward her, and feeling true affection. What did you pay attention to when your recorded it?

Jonghyun: First, I paid attention to Japanese pronunciations. I was very worried if I couldn’t deliver the lyrics well, so I checked with our Japanese teacher and Japanese staff while recording. It was our first time recording in Japanese, so frankly I didn’t know how Japanese emotion is different from Korean, but I tried to express the feelings.

Onew: I tried to express the feeling of fluttering heart.

Key: Because we had to express feelings in a different language, I tried to make it sound as natural as possible. I recorded it checking on my pronunciations with Japanese staff.

Minho: It has a different feel from the Korean version we have sung for 3 years, so it wasn’t easy, but I tried to express the feelings.

Taemin: In the Japanese lyrics, we are more matured, so I sang in a lower and stronger voice to express it.

- I see it is so touching because of such efforts. What part is your favorite?

Onew: I like the part “Replay Replay” as in the title.

Minho: I also like the part and all of it.

Jonghyun: The last bridge part.

Key: The ending part with each member’s adlibs. The rap and Taemin’s dance part.

Taemin: Thanks (laugh). I like the intro part.

- The Replay M/V is on the DVD. Did you have any impressive episodes while filming it?

Jonghyun: A special technique was used for this m/v.

Taemin: Yes, some parts were shot with a matrix camera.

Minho: The matrix was used for my and Taemin’s parts. It was very interesting. It was our first time filming a music video in Japanese, so we had a hard time in close-up scenes showing our lips. The member who made many mistakes is…

Jonghyun: Isn’t it Taemin?

Taemin: Uh, me? But I tried hard (laugh). We filmed in Paju, Korea, the same place we filmed the m/v for our Korean debut single Noona Is So Pretty, so it was more meaningful.

Onew: Right. We were deeply moved because we filmed the m/v for our Japanese debut single in the same place where we filmed our first m/v. I felt we are making a new start.

-What memories do you have of the year 2008 when you released this song in Korea?

Key: I still remember I practiced this song with members until early morning hours.

Jonghyun: we practiced all day. I still remember how hard we practiced.

- Tell me what impression you had when you listened to the couple song Hello, and what you like most.

Jonghyun: It was a calm and warm song. And the first thought that came to my mind when I listened to this song first time was “Ah, this song is really difficult” because we’d have to sing it (laugh).

Minho: I thought the beat was very new and interesting.

Taemin: It has a light feel and matches the lyrics very well.

- Say your goodbye messages to Japanese fans.

Onew: Please, cheer for us as we are debuting in Japan. There are many people who suffered from the earthquake. We will be happy to be of help with our songs and performances. We’ll do our best.

Key: We are all looking forward to our debut in Japan. We are studying Japanese for our debut. We’d like to show our SHINee-like music and performance to Japanese fans as soon as possible. Please, cheer for us.

Taemin: We’re now at the change of seasons, so take care not to catch a cold! See you in Japan!
