Oh Won Bin, a former member of FT Island, held his first solo album launching event entitled “Wherever” on Saturday at the Shinjuku Blaze in Tokyo.

At the promotional event scheduled to mark the release of his debut Japanese album “Time To” launched on May 21, the singer sang some of past hits from “Descended From the Sky” to tracks on his new album such as “Don’t Cry.”

“I’ve been busy the past year, especially with the musical ‘The Three Musketeers,’” said the boy band singer.
“Despite being away from Japan, I’ve been thinking about you all and have missed you so much.”

In regards to his new album, Oh said that it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of his Japanese fans.

“There were times of uncertainty when we were on break and were inactive. But because of your love and support, I believe that I was able to make it as a solo artist,” said Oh.

On the May 2nd episode of MBC TV program ‘Radio Star’, actor Kim Hee Won spoke about the time he questioned co-actor Won Bin about his relationships.

Kim Hee Won spoke about Won Bin, whom he starred in “A Man From Nowhere” with, “He is very quiet. Even when we film, he sits in the corner all alone. He takes his work very seriously.”

“He asked me for some coffee one day and brought two canned coffees. He had a lot of passion for acting. We started off at about 1 or 2 in the morning and that’s all he spoke about until 10 in the morning.”

When the MC’s asked if that was all they really talked about, he said, “We really only spoke about acting. When we got closer I asked him if he dated, and he said that he didn’t.”

“I asked if he had been intimate with anyone lately and he said no so I gave up.”

FT Island which recently released their new mini album "Grown Up" were guests for the 10th of February episode of KBS 2TV's "Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook", aside from performing songs from their album such as "I Hope" and "Severely", FT Island members sat down and shared some stories to the show.

On the talk segment, MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked the members if they have ever been in a fight with each other, and Minhwan answered this question and said, "Lee Hongki got into a big fight with former member Oh Wonbin before".

After this, Hongki confessed and explained what happened, "There was a time before that all us were cooking ramens to eat together but Wonbin wouldn't help prepare the food, but when it was time to eat he came with his chopsticks ready to eat. So after that we had a fight then I even suggested we settle it outside so that the other members would not watch us fight".

Hongki kept a short pause and built up suspense which caused the audience to laugh, and then he continued, "So we did settle it outside however we just stared at each other standing. We were still trainees back then and we agreed not to punch each other because our face might get damaged before our debut on tv".

Translation: Was traveling on the expressway today and saw a cat that collapsed on the ground. Being a cat owner myself, it feels really painful.

Translation: What happened to the cat that collapsed~???

Translation: It was crushed by a car.. I can’t do anything for it since I’m on an expressway..

skullhong : 해줘야지!!!!!!!!!!

Translation: You’ve got to do something!!!!!!!!!!

Translation: Ah, that’s really pitiful.. Thought of peach suddenly..

Translation: I will die too if I stop the car there and run along the expressway.. Save me, Hongki ah..
