Teen Top and 100% collaborated for a special performance on June 22nd Park NamJung's episode of Immortal Song 2.

As representatives of their respective groups, Niel of Teen Top, Rokhyun, Hyukjin and Jonghwan of 100% gathered their energy and showcased their unique and powerful vocals and performed Park Nam Jung's "Missing You" and grabbed the victory.

Immortal Song 2's official twitter uploaded a group photo and wrote, "21st century's idols with overflowing energy and abilities! Congratulations for winning the Park Namjung episode, Teen Top and 100%~! Clap clap clap!!!".

Teen Top Niel will be joining 100%'s  Rokhyun, Hyukjin and Jonghwan on Immortal Song 2 stage. They prepared an entertaining stage and will showcase their vocals and perfect harmonies.

On the March 16th episode of Immortal Song 2, MBLAQ's Mir and Seungho do a joint performance with Sistar's Soyu. The three performed 'You Like Me, I Like You".

The idols worked on together to present a wonderful stage. Seungho plays the piano, Mir does a rap and Soyu compliments MBLAQ with her amazing vocals.

Idol group B1A4 tasted the sweetness of victory on "Immortal Song" with "The way to live like a man". It was the result of beating the members of the original talented idol group, Shin Hyesung (Shinhwa) and Son Hoyoung (g.o.d).

During Kim Bumryong Special of KBS2 "Immortal Song -Singing the Legend" which aired on the 8th, B1A4 gained 405 points after passionately singing "The way to live like a man", which was composed by Kim Bumryong.

On this episode, despite of his young age Sandeul perfectly expressed the sensitivity of the man expressed in this song and attracted attention. Stunning the audience with his stable yet explosive vocal. In addition to this, Baro's rap performance completed the enthusiastic atmosphere.

As a result, B1A4 defeated Jung Dongha by only one vote who ascended after beating Sweet Sorrow and became the winner of the Kim Bumryong Special. When their names were called out as the winners, Sandeul and Baro appeared on stage with surprised expressions as if they could not believe the result.

After listening to B1A4's song, the legend Kim Bumryong complimented, "It was really cute. However the song was very mature.".  Senior singers who also competed on the program, Shin Hyesung, Son Hoyoung, JeA and others raised their thumbs and highly approved B1A4's talent.

Brown Eyed Girls’ JeA will be joining the lineup for KBS2 ‘Immortal Song 2’.

According to the show’s production on November 19, “Brown Eyed Girls’ JeA will be joining ‘Immortal Song 2’ as a permanent member. She will be the replacement of Hwayobi who is exiting the show.”

Having already showcased her talents as a singer and songwriter, JeA will rearrange her songs herself for her performances.

JeA will record her first episode on November 19 for the ‘Kim Bum Ryong special’ of the show. The episode will be aired sometime in December.

Idol group B1A4 (Jinyoung, Baro, Sandeul, CNU, Gongchan) and singer Hwayobi will be making their debut as fixed  members on KBS 2TV "Immortal Song - Singing the Legend".

On 25th morning, a staff of KBS revealed to Star News that, "Sandeul, Baro and CNU of B1A4 and Hwayobi will be joining as fixed members of "Immortal Song", starting from their recording on the 29th."

He continued, "Even Hwayobi showed surpassing performance on 22nd of last month" and said "During her recording on the 22nd, she was not a fixed member but she will be joining as fixed member on the coming 29th recording."

The staff said,"Besides B1A4 and Hwayobi the current fixed members of "Immortal Song" are Jung Dongha and Sweet Sorrow." He also added, "Other singers are scheduled to appear as guests. I don't think there would be any changes other than the selected fixed members of the show. To present stages with completeness, we make careful decision when casting fixed members".

The staff revealed, "During the recording of B1A4 and Hwayobi's debute stage on "Immortal Song" as fixed members, Ha Chun Hwa will be appearing as the legend." "Ha Chun Ha is an artist who encompass all generation. Since she is an artist who flawlessly performs traditional, folk songs and many other genres, we are anticipating to see spectacle and splendid stage of other singers."

Meanwhile, during the recording of "Immortal Song" on 29th,  B1A4, Hwayobi, Jung Donghwa (Boohwal) and Sweet Sorrow will appear as fixed members.

Idol group B1A4 is set to perform on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Song 2’.

On September 19th, the production crew told Star News, “Sandeul will appear on several episodes of the program though he is not a fixed member. He will record his first episode with fellow members CNU and Baro for the Song Dae Kwan special on September 24.”

A representative stated, “This is the first time B1A4 will be joining ‘Immortal Song 2’. Only Sandeul, Baro and CNU will participate and they will certainly appeal with another new charm as a singer.”

“B1A4 is not a fixed member of the ‘Immortal Song 2’ cast. Hopefully, there will be a good outcome after their first performance,” the rep explained.

The episode with Sandeul, Baro and CNU will broadcast on October 13.

Just shortly after joining the show, f(x)’s Luna will soon make her exit from KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Song 2’. 

SM Entertainment reported on September 19th that Luna will record her final performance for the Song Dae Kwan special of ‘Immortal Song 2’ on September 24. The singer will be covering one of his past hit songs and rearrange it to show her own charms.

KBS confirmed the reports and stated that Luna will be leaving the show due to a combination of her busy individual schedule along with f(x)’s schedule.

Vocal group Noel has now become fixed cast members of KBS2’s ‘Immortal Song 2’.

According to a recent announcement, vocal group Noel will join the survival competition show as fixed cast members. The group had featured as a guest on a previous episode, the Yang Hee Eun episode to be exact, where they sang her song “Sae No Sae No”.

They commented, “This is the first time that we appeared on the show since the Yang Hee Eun episode. We are very happy to become fixed cast members and we will work hard to put on great performances for everyone.”

The members already participated in the Yoon Si Nae episode which was recorded on August 27th, and set to air mid September. The rest of the lineup for that broadcast include Toxic, Cha Jiyeon, Sweet Sorrow, MBLAQ’s G.O., Shin Yong Jae, and f(x)’s Luna.

After being away for a year, MBLAQ’s G.O has decided to return to ‘Immortal Song 2’.

A representative from KBS revealed that G.O will be returning to the show as a permanent member and has recorded his first episode on August 20th. The singer promised to show his mature and an improved self as an artist.

G.O first joined the show in June of last year before exiting the show in September. He later made a special guest appearance on the show’s ‘Song Chang Shik Special‘ in February 2012.

The MBLAQ member will also be joined by 4men’s Shin Yongjae on his first day back on the show, alongside the departure of Ulala Session, who will be making their final performance for the program.

It has been announced that Super Junior’s Ryeowook and solo singer Ailee will be leaving KBS’ ‘Immortal Song 2’ to focus on their respective activities.

On August 13th, a representative from SM Entertainment revealed, “Due to Super Junior’s new round of promotions, Ryeowook will inevitably be leaving ‘Immortal Song 2’. He has recorded his final performance on July 16th, and will be aired on August 25th.”

A representative of Ailee also confirmed the singer’s temporary departure from the show to focus on her upcoming new album, set to release in October. “Her departure wasn’t a permanent one. There’s a high possibility that she will be returning later on.”

f(x)’s Luna will be joining KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Song 2’.

On July 26th, a spokesperson from KBS announced, “Luna will be joining ‘Immortal Song 2’ as a permanent member.”

He added, “Luna has already shown her talented vocals as a singer and as a musical actress so anticipation is high on her casting. Just as in f(x), we feel like she will bring the same great talent to the show.”

Back on August of last year, Luna has been reported to join ‘Immortal Song 2’, but unfortunately, she was unable to. She will make her first appearance on the August 6th recording of the show.

INFINITE’s Sunggyu will be leaving ‘Immortal Song 2’ due to overseas promotions. The July 16th filming of the KBS program was Sunggyu’s last recording for the show.

Lead vocalist Sunggyu became a fixed member of ‘Immortal Song 2’ since May, along with Super Junior’s Ryeowook. He is the second INFINITE member, after Woohyun, to appear on the show.

The last broadcast of ‘Immortal Song 2’ with Sunggyu as a contestant will be a summer music special, featuring Lee Saung Eun and Lee Sang Woo, which will be aired on the 21st.

Meanwhile, INFINITE is currently preparing for their “INFINITE Concert That Summer” in Seoul on August 8 before kicking off their Japanese tour.

2PM’s Junsu has become the latest idol group member to belt it out on the singing-survival show “Immortal Song 2” on KBS 2TV.

The boy band member will join Ryeowook from Super Junior and Sungkyu from Infinite on two episodes of the show set to begin airing on July 21 for two weeks.

The appearance will mark Junsu’s first in more than a year since he last appeared on the singing contest where entertainers take on retro songs, hits from before their time.
The two-week special episodes featuring the three boys from the three token Hallyu boy bands will be dedicated to popular summer hits from 1981 until 1999.

In addition to the boy band vocalists, other singers to sing on the show will include Hong Kyung-min, Sonya, Ailee and Ulala Session among others.

Super Junior's Ryeowook proved his merits on the Immortal Song stage.





Ryeowook who could not hide his nervousness said on the stage, "I personally like this song and I dedicate this song to Yang Hee Eun sunbaenim."  Then he started singing the song. 



Ryeowook showed off his singing talents more than during his time as Super Junior, making his fellow singers as well as the audience surprised. 



The MCs and fellow singers could not hide their looks of surprise and gave him favorable comments such as, "he has a beautiful voice," "the performance was focused," and "there are linger emotions."  The show was aired on June 16.

Solo singer Younha is confirmed to make an appearance in KBS "Immortal song 2" according to officials on the 31st of May. However, Younha will only be a temporary guest and not fixed as she will be appearing in only 2 episodes, She is scheduled to appear on the 16th and 23rd of June episode of the show.

Younha will be singing alongside new singers on the show which are Ryeowook of Super Junior and Sung Kyu of Infinite. This is a unique combination of voices for the show as the famous singer and songwriter will be singing her favorite songs on the show. Meanwhile, Younha is currently a DJ on MBC radio show "Starry Night".

Super Junior’s Ryeowook and INFINITE’s Sunggyu will be joining other talented singers in KBS2’s ‘Immortal Song 2’!

On May 28, KBS announced that Ryeowook and Sunggyu recently decided to appear on ‘Immortal Song 2’ as fixed members. The two singers will participate in the filming on June 4 for the Yang Hee Eun special of the show.

Known as the lead vocalists in their respective groups, many are thrilled to know that they are able to showcase their vocal skills on ‘Immortal Song 2’. Ryeowook is known for having a sweet and distinctive vocal who has experience in musicals and DJ-ing.

On the other hand, Sunggyu is the leader and main vocalist of INFINITE. He’s one of the most talented singers of all idol group members. He will be added to the ‘Immortal Song 2’ performers as the youngest, following after Ailee who is also born in 1989.

Ryeowook and Sunggyu’s first performances can be watched on June 16 and 23.

Group Teen Top C.A.P, Niel and Changjo captured the hearts of not only the noonas but all female fans.
On the afternoon of the 12th, the first part of KBS 2 ‘Saturday Freedom – Immortal Song 2: The legend sings’ aired which featured JYP Park Jinyoung as the 31st legend.
That day, Teen Top who had made their first appearance on ‘Immortal Song 2’ expressed ‘We’re really nervous but on the other hand we really like this; because we’re enjoying the stage even though it’s not our song. We will show you an impressive performance so we hope you’ll look forward to it’ This made the level of anticipation even higher.
Following which Teen Top gave a perfect rendition of Park Jinyoung’s 4th album title track ‘Honey’ with their grand choreography and steady vocals. In particular, Teen Top did not seem nervous at all and with their vocals, performance and choreography, they gave a perfect performance which captured everyone’s attention.
After watching Teen Top’s performance Park Jinyoung gave high praises “ ‘Honey is in the blues genre which is hard to find in the music industry these days. Because of your young age I was worried if you guys were able to bring out the blues vibe. It was good that instead of giving off the blues vibe you made it your own. I’m surprised at your amazing talent that is unlike of idols.”
On the other hand, Ulala Session, Teen Top, Lee Haeri(Davichi), Shin Yongjae(4MEN), Huk Gak, Ali, Sonya, Sunghoon (Brown Eye Soul), No Brain, Ailee, Lyn and Hong Kyungmin performed on ‘Immortal Song 2’ that day.

Yesterday afternoon, SHINee‘s Taemin amazed the ‘Immortal Song 2‘ audience with another powerful performance.

On the April 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Immortal Song 2′, Taemin, Im Taekyung, LYn, Ailee, ALi, No Brain, and Sung Hoon performed past hits of legendary vocalist Yoon Soo Il.

Taemin performed Yoon Soo Il’s “Wonderful Confession“, and came through with a fierce dance performance while coolly sporting a Yoon-Soo-Il-reminiscent studded leather jacket. Taemin took the stage by storm, showing off a charismatic and masculine side of himself. He broke into a complicated dance number in the middle of his set, delighting viewers.

“Your dance was impressive,” Yoon Soo Il remarked after watching him perform. “It was superb,” Singers backstage were also blown away by Taemin’s performance, and commented that they had goosebumps while watching his stage. “It was a stage that showcased everything that Taemin is good at,” they complimented while applauding.

MC Shin Dong Yup then asked Taemin to sing a little bit of trot for everyone, and Taemin willfully agreed. Taemin blazed through three rounds in a winning streak with a core of 375, but lost to Im Taekyung in the fourth round.

This will, regretfully, be Taemin's last episode of Immortal Song 2. SHINee arrived in Japan yesterday to prepare for their Japan Arena tour, which is set to begin on April 25th.
