Recently, beauty magazine BEAUTY+ has just released new pictorials featuring KARA’s Han Seungyeon, showing off her wild beauty.

In the pictorials, Seungyeon is dressed in colorful flower patterned dress, pulling off her cute and feminine looks. Though Seungyeon only poses with 'green apples' and blue background, she still brings to the pictorials fresh and lively feelings.

During the interview with Beauty+, Seungyeon also revealed her beauty secrets to her baby face as well as her favorite beauty items like perfume, lip balm, and hand cream.

KARA Seungyeon's head is really small.

SBS's "Animal Farm" which was broadcast on April 14th, MC Kim Saeng Min said,"Use a 5 squared long toilet paper and if it can fully circle around the head then it can be said as a small head".

Upon hearing this, MC Shin Dong Yeop asked Seung Yeon to use this method and measure her head. And the result, it took only 4 and a half of the toilet paper to fully circle around her head, surprised everyone on the filming set.

Netizen commented,"Seung Yeon's head is so small","Because she has a small head so it makes her looks cute"

KARA member Han Seungyeon clarified herself being a a Gundam mania.

Han Seungyeon is known as a Japanese animation mania but seems there it is being misunderstood by many. Seungyeon tweeted "Is it an inaccuracy? I am not a Gundam mania, I dont event watch a lot and also, I dont know Japanese voice actors well as what you guys think. It is simply not me, I guess someone translated it to please everyone and became an issue." she explained. 

It seems everyone is exaggerating her hobby of watching anime, and Seungyeon is not please to know that.

KARA's Han Seungyeon shared her feelings about being cast in 'Jang OK Jung, Live for Love", her first historical drama.

On March 11th, press conference for SBS new drama 'Jang OK Jung, Live for Love" was held at Gyeonggido, Ilsan, Tanhyeon, SBS Production Center. During the press conference, Seungyeon talked about her experiences and thoughts. "I will make a short appearance on the first episode and will be making full appearance on the latter half of the drama. I've been waiting for this shooting but I never thought it would be hard as this." Seungyeon said. 

'I was hesitating whether to take 'Jang Ok Jung' or not. I wasn't even able to sleep because of that but I will do my best to become a good actress. I will follow my seniors' advises to improve." she continued, showing her desire to learn from her seniors. 

The drama is expected to be aired in April 2013, every Monday and Tuesday at 21:55.

KARA’s Han Seungyeon has been cast for her first acting role in the upcoming SBS TV’s drama, ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’.

On February 1, Story TV, the production company of the series announced that Seungyeon was cast as the lead role in new drama series, ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’, alongside actor Yoo Ah In and actress Kim Tae Hee.

The singer will play the role of royal concubine Choi, a woman who was born as a person of humble condition and in the end managed to make her son King Yeongjo. She will be vying for Yoo Ah In’s love against Kim Tae Hee.

Her label DSP Media said, “Seungyeon has decided to appear in ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’ after careful consideration. She has made cameos before and starred in Japanese dramas before, but this is her first time acting in a historical genre drama. She’s practicing a lot for the series now.”

KARA’s Han Seungyeon talked about the stress she gets from diet.

On December 18th, Seungyeon tweeted, I want to get back. “There were times when I could still stay slim even after eating peanut butter with spoons, eat ramyun in late night, and eat four to five times a day.”

She continued, “How come I didn’t know the joy of eating back then?”, expressing her burden about keeping her body fit with a diet.

Netizens commented, “Even Seungyeon is stressed about diet”, “You should gain more weight”, “You can never forget joy that eating brings” and more.

Following the announcement of Jiyoung’s solo debut on SBS TV’s ‘Inkigayo’, fellow KARA members Han Seungyeon and Park Gyuri have announced the dates for their respective solo stage performances.

Both Seungyeon and Gyuri will stand on music show stages to perform their respective solo songs from KARA’s Solo Collection album. Seungyeon will be the first member to have her solo stage where she will perform on MBC’s ‘Music Core’ on December 15th and Gyuri will follow on the 23rd on ‘Inkigayo’.

Seungyeon will transform into a rocker for her “Guilty”, while Gyuri will stand on her solo stage with her tango inspired song “Daydream”.

KARA’s Han Seungyeon commented about releasing a solo track.

On November 30th, KARA members released solo tracks through official YouTube channel and various music websites. During an interview with the media, Seungyeon talked about participating in writing the lyrics for her solo track.

Seungyeon shared, “I’ve been really happy for the last six years as a member of KARA, but I’ve also gone through many hard times. But, I wanted to get through them, and become a stronger person.”

She continued, “I tried to express my wish to become a stronger person in my solo track, ‘Guilty’.”

“Guilty” is a hard rock number, characterized by a strong guitar sound and a shouting voice. Seungyeon is attracting a lot of attention as a rocker in this song, getting away from a lovely image.

Girl group KARA members Seungyeon and Jiyoung once again teamed up with actor Lee Min Ki for a new photoshoot for fashion brand ‘Unionbay’.

Under the concept of ‘Camping in Alaska’, the new photoshoot showed the three stars bundled up in sporty winter apparel to complete their winter looks. Seungyeon and Jiyoung also showed off their adorable charms as they hug giant polar bear dolls.

Meanwhile, KARA is currently busy in Japan promoting their seventh single album, ‘Electric Boy’.

KARA’s beauty ranking by professionals was revealed.

MBC Music’s ‘All the K-pop’ performed a survey with 100 plastic surgery surgeons and other personnels from Chungdamdong, asking to rank the KARA members  in terms of looks.

Park Gyuri, who is well known as a “goddess”, ranked first on the survey. Most of the plastic surgeons said, “Gyuri has golden proportions. She has the most ideal eyes, nose, and lips. Many patients come to us asking for a face like Gyuri.”

Seungyeon ranked second with her cute and innocent appearance. She said, “I actually don’t like my eyes. I often hear that I look scary and mean when I open my eyes wide. But I’m happy that I ranked second.”

Jiyoung placed 3rd, Goo Hara placed 4th and Nicole placed 5th. Many fans were surprised at Goo Hara ranking as fourth. Professionals explained, “Goo Hara has good proportions and is pretty. But maybe that is why she seems a little less natural.”

Girl group KARA recently revealed the secrets behind their flawless skins.

On September 11th, KARA, who just returned to the music scene with “Pandora”, held an online live chatting event through me2day. Each member chatted in relay for 10 minutes each with few selected fans.

During the event, the members gave the most honest answers to every fans’ questions. When asked about the secrets behind their flawless skin, Nicole responded, “I put some honey over skin trouble” while Goo Hara gave some laugh by saying, “I put half the bottle of moisturizer.”

However, Seungyeon gave the most surprising answer saying that her secret is eating pork skin. She also revealed that pork helped her in singing, explaining, “When I was having trouble during recording, I ate samgyeopsal(pork belly) and then successfully recorded my high tone.”

During the live chat, KARA revealed different behind stories that took place while preparing for their new album.

KARA’s Han Seungyeon, who is known for her petite physique, is looking like a baby while standing next to Olympic volleyball player Kim Yeon Kyung.

On September 4th, Han Seungyeon and Kim Yeon Kyung appeared on SBS ‘Strong Heart’, and MC Shin Dong Yup encouraged the two to greet each other. Despite appearing in very high heels, there was a significant height different between the two. Seungyeon looked like a baby sister to Kim Yeon Kyung even though she was of the same age as the volleyball player.

Kim Yeon Kyung joked that she was born earlier than Seungyeon and promised to call her unnie the next time they meet. He shared, “I was actually born in February, 1988. I went to school early, so all of my friends were born in 1987.”

On this day, Seungyeon also revealed that she injured her ankles because of wearing high heels too much.

After releasing solo music videos for Gyuri and Goo Hara, along with Nicole and Jiyoung’s full PV, KARA has now released the music video for Seungyeon’s solo track, “Guilty”.

“Guilty” is included on KARA’s collection album ‘KARA COLLECTION’ which will be released in Japan on September 5th. The compilation album lists the members’ solo songs as well as their hit single “GO GO SUMMER!” from their second full-length Japanese album ‘Super Girl’.

KARA's Han Seungyeon shows off her cute and adorable side in a lovely selca.

On the 3rd of September, she updated her twitter account and shared, "Aw..." and included a selca. She is sporting her new pigtails hairstyle in the selca shown above

Despite having youthful looks she is doing really well with KARA's recent sexy and matured Pandora concept.

Netizens commented, "She looks so cute! like a junior high student", "Her face is really small", "Her eyes are so pretty". Can't believe she's already 24 years old right?

KARA’s Seungyeon and Jiyoung along with actor Lee Min Ki, who were selected as the new endorsement models of ‘Unionbay’, became close siblings in a new pictorial for Fall 2012 edition of the clothing brand.

On August 28th, Unionbay revealed photos of Seungyeon, Jiyoung with Lee Min Ki which was taken during an advertisement shooting. The shooting took place at a studio near Seoul on July 27th, and the three showed great partnership and friendship.

A representative stated, “They were seen showing their support for each other as the photo shoot progressed which brightened up the atmosphere on set. The day of the shooting was Seungyeon’s birthday, and Lee Min Ki’s surprise gift touched Seungyeon and all of other staffs’ hearts as well.”

KARA members made honest comments about their “god given gifts”.

At the press conference held before KARA’s 5th Mini-album “Pandora” showcase at the Walkerhill hotel in Seoul on August 22, the five members gave witty and honest answers to a question asking about their own unique charms.

Park Gyuri stated, “I think god gave me positiveness and confidence.” Goo Hara, who confessed that people told her she had the body of a child, replied, “I’m thankful for being not gaining much weight, no matter what I eat.”

The singer added, “However, it was not easy for me to have a glamorous figure and that has inspired me to work out harder. Now I’m happy that many people are recognizing some changes in my figure.”

Seungyeon also chose small head as a gift that god gave to her, Nicole chose her health while JiYoung was grateful for her height.

Countdown to the release of the KARA’s long-awaited comeback has begun. After releasing teasers for Jiyoung, Hara, Gyuri and Nicole, teaser of the final member, Seungyeon, has been revealed!

The latest member teaser for KARA’s upcoming “Pandora” was released on August 17 through Naver Music. Seungyeon is donning an elegant white dress accessorized with belt and necklace and is kneeling on top of a couch, while giving a mysterious gaze.

The group’s new mini album “Pandora” is set for release next week on August 22. Their comeback showcase at the W Seoul Walkerhill Hotel will also be streamed live on YouTube on the release date.

KARA members Han Seungyeon and Goo Hara were seen shopping in Japan.

The photo above was recently posted on an online community board, capturing the attention of fans and netizens. The photo was taken by a fan showing the two stars enjoying some shopping at a shoe store in Japan.

In the photo, Seungyeon and Goo Hara are seen dressed in their casual outfits and barely wearing any makeups, but fully recognizable with their beauty.

Netizens commented, “They get found no matter where they’re, even in Japan”, “They are so beautiful”, “They look like Hollywood celebrities” and more.

Meanwhile, KARA is set to release their 5th mini-album “Pandora” on August 22nd and will kick off promotions with a special showcase.
