Ballad singer Jo Jang Hyuk will be joining the cast of MBC’s hit singing show, ‘I Am A Singer 2’.

Jo Jang Hyuk, who left quite a lasting impresson during the preliminary exhibition stage last month with his rendition of Cho Yong Pil’s “Dream”, will finally be joining the show as a regular cast.

The ballad legend is known for his hit songs like “Addicted Love,” “Even If You Left Me,” and “Love.” Jo Jang Hyuk participated in his first recording that took place at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan on October 1st.

Singer Kim Gun Mo has stepped down from singing-survival show “I Am a Singer” due to health reasons.

According to the singer’s agency on August 14, Kim Gun Mo fell ill while performing under the rain at an outdoor concert on the 12th and was unable to attend the recording on the following day. MBC previously decided to move up the filming schedule by one week, however, Kim Gun Mo decided to leave the MBC singing show.

The agency added, “He was in no condition to sing, and due to this reason, we decided that it would be best if he pulled out from the show altogether.”

Kim Gun Mo has competed on “I Am a Singer” from last year, and in October 2011, he celebrated his 20th anniversary in the industry.

Singer Younha recently shared a couple of photo taken from the waiting room of MBC’s ‘I Am a Singer 2’.

The photos were taken during Younha’s first recording that took place at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan on August 6th. In the photos, the singer can be seen wearing white, strapless dress, highlighting her radiant skin and flawless beauty.

Netizens commented, "Her skin is gorgeous”, “Younha is becoming more and more beautiful” and “Looking forward to her performance on the program!”

Solo singer Younha will be joining the singing competition show ‘I Am a Singer 2’!

According to sources from MBC on August 2, the show’s director Kim Young Hee decided to cast Younha on ‘I Am a Singer 2’. The 1988-born singer will be the youngest cast member to perform on the program.

A representative from MBC radio stated, “Not too long ago, Younha resumed her activities after making a comeback with her new album. She made her decision to join the cast of ‘I Am a Singer 2′ in order to show the public her true potential.”

Younha will take part in her first recording for the show on August 6 at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan.
