The happiest birthday celebration is to be able to provide help to others.

That's what exactly Infinite Dongwoo's fans did for his birthday last year. To celebrate his birthday last year, November 22, 2012, Dongwoo's fans collected funds and donated a well for Cambodia.

Thanks to Dongwoo's fansite (즐겨찾기) for conducting this donation. On their update, they revealed the good news. Dongwoo must be really proud of his fans.

"To commemorate Dongwoo’s birthday last year, the installation of a well in Cambodia donated by supporters of 즐겨찾기 in [동갑] has been completed. Due to the construction of the well, residents in that area can now drink clean water. Thank you to all who contributed in this project!"

On April 20, he wrote on his twitter account,

In additional, Dongwoo also uploaded a selca and expressed his gratitude for their fans. He wrote,

INFINITE will soon be taking the spotlight once again! After unveiling Sungjong’s teaser, they have revealed their D-6 teaser featuring member Dongwoo.

The new clip features Dongwoo in the same bright and cute concept as he’s climbing up the stairs with a stack of books. The group’s comeback album is titled, ‘Man In Love’ and it seems to be hinting at an easy music.

Five members of INFINITE will be graduating from Daekyung University on February 15.

Despite busy schedules of promotions, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, L, Sungyeol, Hoya and Dongwoo will be graduating from college. They will be receiving their diploma with Applied Music majors during the graduation ceremony to take place on February 15 at Daekyung University.

A representative stated, “The INFINITE members have gone to classes for their majors whenever they had time in their busy schedules. They took their midterms and finals diligently and very forward about their campus lives. They also gave a lot of tips and advice to their fellow colleagues about vocals, dance and stage performance.”

Professor Kim Gun Pyo from the university said, “They will be receiving the ‘Proud Daekyung University Student’ award for increasing the prestige of the university.”

INFINITE H’s Dongwoo and Hoya recently participated in a photo shoot and interview for new edition of star magazine ‘@star1’ and talked about their ideal “Special Girl”.

Dongwoo shared, “I think my ideal type changes frequently. Recently, I like girls who look good in any hair style. Someone who look good with different hair styles, and also different styles of outfits. I can adjust to her personality.”

Hoya also said, I like people who are fluent in foreign language. When I find that someone is very fluent in a foreign language, I start feeling that the person is very charming. I always wanted to be fluent in foreign language, but unfortunately, I can’t so I’m attracted to people who can speak a foreign language these days.”

INFINITE H released their first unit album ‘Fly High’ and are currently promoting title track “Special Girl”.

Infinite’s hiphop unit Infinite H (Dongwoo, Hoya) showed an uncommon affection toward the fans.

Infinite H met eNEWS right before their latest live broadcast, when we asked them ‘Which stage do you like the most between live broadcasts and prerecordings?’, they replied “We aren’t especially biased toward any of them and we just do our best in the given situation. But since we’re with the fans during the prerecordings, it has more feelings so it’s obviously better”.

Infinite H’s member Hoya said while laughing, “When it hasn’t been long since you did your comeback, prerecordings have a nice side. Because you can work the stage to make it more perfect. But later on, if you promote the same song for 7~8 weeks, there are also times when live broadcasts are better”.

He then added, “Both obviously have their pros and cons but if I put myself in the fans’ shoes, there are more good points about the prerecording”.

Dongwoo said, showing affection for the fans, “Regardless of the stage, I don’t have any anxiety about it. It’s just that for the stage of the prerecording filled with only our fans, even the cheering is different so I can only get strength from it. And I also find the time where you can share even just a few words with the fans next to the stage nice and precious”.

Infinite H is the 7-membered idol group Infinite’s hiphop unit formed by Dongwoo and Hoya. Primary was in charge of the album’s producing and a lot of talented musicians such as Dynamic Duo, Bumkey, Zion.T, Beenzino, etc participated in it so they received comments saying that they showed an exceptional completion as a standard idol unit.

Unit group INFINITE-H chose leader Sunggyu as the person who gave them the biggest help.

On January 10th, Dongwoo and Hoya held a showcase at the Seoul UNIQLO-AX to promote their debut album ‘Fly High’. In a press conference prior to the showcase they said, “Other members showed great supports for us, and gave many good advices.”

Dongwoo and Hoya chose Sunggyu as the person who helped them the most. Dongwoo said, “He welcomed us everyday when we were returning home in total exhaustion. He was the first member to release a solo album, so he gave a lot of advices.”

Hoya added, “It wasn’t just Sunggyu, but all the members also gave big helps. There is a group discussion that we have on our phones, and whenever we were heading for practices, they left messages. They were all small things, but they became a huge support.”

They continued, “It must be because he’s the oldest one in the group, but Sunggyu takes care of his health. He bought us a few nutrition pills.”

INFINITE members Dongwoo and Hoya will promote as sub-unit, INFINITE H, starting in the beginning of next year. Giving fans an early treat, INFINITE H held a special stage on the December 20th episode of ‘M! Countdown’, marking the unit’s first televised performance.

As previously mentioned, the highly anticipated album of INFINITE H is set to be released next January. According to their agency, “We’ll be showcasing music that holds the special charms of Infinite H. Through the unit promotions, it’ll broaden INFINITE’s music spectrum.”

Primary, one of the skilled producers in the hip hop scene, will be partnering with Infinite H for their album, giving it an overall concept. The H in INFINITE H stands for hip hop and this team goes out with a hip hop theme.

INFINITE members Dongwoo and Hoya will promote as sub-unit, INFINITE H, starting next year!

A representative of INFINITE revealed, “INFINITE H will be releasing an album in January. We will be bringing out music that will be able to bring out the special charms of INFINITE H. The type of music they will present will be different from that of INFINITE’s.”

INFINITE H, stands for INFINITE Hip-hop, held a special stage at the INFINITE’s ‘INFINITE CONCERT That Year’s Summer’ last August. The unit performed “When You’re Not Here” for the first time, a new song created by the talented producers Primary and Zion.T.

Prior to their official debut, INFINITE H will be performing at the December 20th’s episode of ‘M! Countdown’. Dongwoo and Hoya will also be acting as the MCs for the show.

◆ Jang Dongwoo, You Can Do It

As Infinite’s Dongwoo, I became more bold and masculine through his members. It was as if I had found brothers. Should I say that they brought the affection only brothers can give to me, who only had 2 older sisters?

When I first met the members… They all had their own personalities. Although Sunggyu hyung seemed to be macho, he wasn’t really interested in clothes or styles, and his largest interest was just in food. ^^

For Woohyun, I only remember his eyes that were full of passion. It seemed like he firmly went in a slightly strange direction? I think he’s much better to see now than before. The thing that didn’t change is his love for the members..

Hoya was a ‘dancing fool’. He solved everything with dancing. His life and style was strong since our first meeting! Sungyeol looked like someone who really only studied. Someone who wears glasses and is tidy. But he’s really simple and innocent to the point where you can understand everything about him after meeting him three times.

L? To be honest, he was so quiet that he didn’t leave an impression on me. I thought he couldn’t speak Korean ^^ Sungjong was much more active and full of energy back then than he is now. Because my first impression of him was delicate, my instincts to protect him rose ^^



There was a time near our debut where the members and our company’s staff members did volunteer work, but I feel really happy even now when I think about it. Because it still remains as a large memory, I want to hurry and do volunteer work if I’m given the chance.

The most important thing to me right now is ‘time’. There are many things I want to do, but time isn’t waiting for me. When my mind feels hasty, I look into the mirror and hold my mind by saying, ‘You can do it!’.

2012 was the year where the Infinite members and I personally became a step more matured. The year where we became stronger mentally and where the members were able to be together more. Let’s continue to work hard and do our best!

Although it might seem a bit weird, I also carry around my bankbooks ㅎㅎ A comb and perfume! A case for my earrings, and our concert script, the most important thing! I also have a charger, and uhm… And a strange Mickey Mouse? too! Hahaha.



Ah, I also have Leader Gyu’s solo debut CD! I personally bought it~~^^
◇ Lee Sungyeol, The Year Where Many Things Came True

I’ve lately been spending my time looking at monkey pictures. I had a lot of interest in monkeys ever since a long time ago, but it starting coming up again. I feel like we could be friends for some reason…



‘The way people look at me’ and ‘the way I look at myself’ aren’t that different. I often hear that I’m a person who’s always bright and innocent, but I think I’m like that as well. And my honest personality! I think that’s my largest ‘weapon’.

Before I became part of Infinite, I was burdened by the fact that I would have to carry my own future. But it’s not like that now! Because I have my reliable hyungs and dongsaengs, I feel confident. First off, L really didn’t speak, so he gave me no impression. And I thought of Sunggyu hyung as the hyung that was hard to talk to? And thought Woohyun hyung was the considerate hyung. Dongwoo hyung was the extremely scary hyung! And Hoya was a blunt person. Because Sungjong is normally pretty, I thought he was a female trainee ^^ When I look back and think about it, it’s all the complete opposite! Seems like I’m bad with impressions…

Now they’re all very important people to me!

If I never became a member of Infinite, I think I would been doing something out of the ordinary, something special. Probably… a job where I educate animals?

I like animals. So the gift I remember the most are ‘dog clothes’. I didn’t tell anyone that I had a puppy, but they prepared it, so I remember it the most.

There are many things that came true for me in 2012, and I think the members also did well, step by step. Fighting so that I can become a Sungyeol who continues to improve in the future as well!!

First off, my wallet! And if I were to show you the inside of my wallet, there’s no money… My entire fortune is 300 won! ㅎㅎㅎ I have nutritional supplements, and a card I carry around so that I can practice. I also carry around deodorant and perfume.



Sunglasses too! Huh? But there’s nothing in the case… I brought an empty case.. ㅎㅎㅎ



Drum sticks as well! It’s the item I treasure the most. I make sure to take it everywhere ^^

◆  Lee Sungjong, Will Show A New Side



Like then and now, my largest interest is in songs. Because I dreamed of becoming a singer ever since I was younger, I don’t do it idly. And since I can feel and experience many things while practicing, I’m working hard now as well!

And in the future, I want to become an all-around entertainer that is acknowledged by everyone. For that to happen, I should do my best, right? ‘Sungjong-ah, you’re doing well! Let’s just be a bit stronger!’

After meeting Infinite, my everything changed. Because I suddenly gained 6 hyungs, it felt like I became a person? ^^ Now they’re all important figures who I can’t do without.

People just think of me as the youngest, but I have a side to me that’s quite dependable and strong! ^^

2012 is now ending soon. It’s almost Christmas! My plans are… after finishing schedules with the members, we’ll probably say that we worked hard and eat beef ㅎㅎ ^^




Although the burden was big when we received a lot of love through ‘The Chaser’, I feel proud because I feel like I climbed well this year, step by step, just like any other time.

I’ll show you a different side of me that hasn’t been seen before in 2013!!

Infinite members Dongwoo and Hoya are forming a hip-hop unit Infinite H and starting official promotions early next year.

A representative of Woollim Entertainment said in a phone call with tvdaily that, “Infinite finished their Japanese promotions and Infinite’s Dongwoo and Hoya recently started working on the recording for Infinite H’s album”

According to the representative, hip-hop unit Infinite H is calmly recording the album, aiming to release it early next year.

In the past, Dongwoo and Hoya first showed Infinite H to fans at Infinite’s concert last February. Infinite H sang ‘Crying’ and ‘You Look Good,’ receiving heated reactions from the audience.

In the meantime, Hoya had a successful debut as an actor through cable channel tvN’s ‘Reply 1997’ which ended on the 18th.

INFINITE’s sub unit has prepared special surprise for the upcoming concert.

Set to be kicking off their summer concert “INFINITE CONCERT That Summer” on August 8th, the group’s agency Woollim Entertainment made a surprising revelation that Hoya and Dongwoo will reveal a new song under the subunit ‘INFINITE H’. The song will be performed during the concert for the first time.

The agency also revealed that they decided to release the song to show their thanks to fans who have showed love and support to INFINITE. The new song was created by the talented producers Primary and Zion.T.

‘INFINITE H’ is comprised by the group’s rappers Hoya and Dongwoo. The subunit has already received much love from fans for their performances of “Crying” and “You Look Good”. Though they will reveal new song during the concerts, the agency currently has no plans if the duo will perform on music broadcasts.

What kind of man am I? ‘The Chaser’ VS ‘Only Tears’
It’s hard to say because I never really loved as much as in the lyrics of Infinite’s songs but if I really like her, I think it will be hard to let her go. I think I will express my feelings until the end.

I can’t lose to any other member at this!
Dongwoo has this charm to make us forget the time passing by with his energetic witty chat with Hoya that makes it sound like a comical talk from a gag. He’s full of infinite energy, always giving priority to honesty, he’s spreading the happy virus around him but even that day, the influential perfectly synchronized rapper line showed more than enough of their skills.

Hoya: It was a reality that was created with just a purpose and without a script.
However, it seems like there was quite an amount of people who watched it.
My specialty is that I have a strong will first! I’m confident in it, strong will. It’s that I won’t give up.
Dongwoo: I have confidence in this one. Positive virus!
Hoya: What else do I have?
Dongwoo: You? You have a lot. Dance, tenacity. This friend is very perseverant.
Strong will, tenacity, it’s all similar words but all these words match him.
Hoya also does his best exercising. He plays soccer well too.

Hairstyle is my pride

The only one remaining are the ones which their colors fit the best. Ah, I found another comrade. It’s Hoya. Hoya is famous for usually liking the color purple, and the hair color purple fits him well too. He has a satisfying sense. Since I found a comrade, my joy is doubled. Hoya gave me a nickname matching my hair color. ‘Pebble color’. Pebble beaches aren’t like sandy beaches, they’re beaches made of rocks, he says that the color of my hair is the same as the color of the rocks. This summer, I’ll go to a pebble beach and take a pretty picture so that my confidence will increase even more. Eumhahaha!

Woolim's new girl group members, Baby Soul + Yoo Jia's teaser's 'Bad hand' is a hot topic around the news.

On the 16th, Woolim uploaded their teaser for Baby Soul + Yoo Jia's "She's a Flirt" on their youtube account. In the teaser, they have found the "Bad hand" and is creating a issue.

The teaser grabbed a lot of people's attention because INFINITE's Dongwoo was starring in it. But in the teaser, someone's hand was touching Yoo Jia's lips and was buttoning Jia's shirt from behind.

Since the MV hasn't come out yet, netizens are wondering if the "bad hand" is really Dongwoo's hands or not.

The people who watched the MV said "No, Dongwoo-oppa!" "I want the MV to come out so I can check if it's really him." "A short video, but it makes me interested" "The teaser seems a bit awkward and strangely different from others."
