Supernova’s Sungje has suffered an injury to his ankle.

According to Supernova’s agency, Sungje began feeling pain in his left foot during their rehearsal for a new song of the group on July 18th. Upon being examined at a hospital, it turned out to be a rupture of the ankle’s ligament and will take up to 4 weeks to heal.

Aiming to repay the fans’ support, the members have been practicing excessively for the upcoming concerts in Japan and their scheduled Korean comeback in August. Unfortunately, Sungje suffered an injury and is currently wearing a cast.

Sungje expressed his regret saying, “I am sorry for causing the fans to worry because of my carelessness. I will keep my promise with fans and stick with my original schedules.”

Meanwhile, Supernova’s Korean activities planned for the middle of August will inevitably be altered due to the injury. the agency is contemplating whether to push back Supernova’s comeback or the choreography will be simplified for the member.

We previously reported that Supernova's Sunje and Jihyuk will be releasing an OST for Channel A's drama series "Bachelor's Vegetable Store".

On January 4th, following the release of the full audio, Supernova unveiled the music video for the OST "Be My Girl".

"Be My Girl" is a medium-tempo pop song in a bright and fun melody with hopeful lyrics. The single is written by composer Park Hae Woon who have work for DJ DOC, and Baek Ji Young and wrote OST for "Boys Over Flowers" and "King of Baking".

It has been revealed that Supernova, who is actively promoting in Japan, will be releasing an OST for Channel A's drama series "Bachelor's Vegetable Store".

Sungje will extend his support for fellow member Jihyuk and will collaborate for a fresh new OST, "Be My Baby" for the drama in which Jihyuk plays one of the six bachelors.

"Be My Girl" is a medium-tempo pop song in a bright, fun melody with hopeful lyrics. The single is written by composer Park Hae Woon who have work for DJ DOC, and Baek Ji Young and wrote OST for "Boys Over Flowers" and "King of Baking". Sungje’s tough but attractive voice and Ji Hyuk’s attempt at rapping in a new style will be harmonized through the song, building expectations.

"Bachelor’s Vegetable Store" tells a touching story cheering for healthy and young adults working their sweats off to shape their own future. The drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:50 PM.

Last December, Supernova Sungje and KARA's maknae Jiyoung release their Christmas duet song "Merry Love"

Besides "Merry Love" the CD will also include Supernova's song for "Jungle Fish 2", "No Matter What Others Say"

Supernova Sungje and KARA Jiyoung will release their duet track "Merry Love" on December 16th. It's their christmas song duet.

With Supernova upcoming Japan concert, and Sungje's musical "Really Really Like You" is coming, and KARA busy promoting their latest song "Jumping" there's no plan to promote the song on music shows as for now.

Hallyu Star, Supernova’s Sungje reminisce their activities in Japan and even shed tears.

Sungje was one of the guest in October 2 episode of Quiz that Change the World (Sebakwi) and told their story during their hard times in Japan.

Sungje said, “At first, it was difficult in Japan. Other artists are doing well even in overseas. We’re not well known in Korea.” He confessed and even shed some tears.

Sungje was trying to hold his tears during the conversation but he can’t hold it anymore.
The panels encouraged the sad Sungje and even cheered him up.

Geonil added, the appeared as a guest to SG Wanna Be’s concert in Japan and some Japanese staffs suggested that they work in Japan. “I was grateful enough that I cried.” He proudly revealed.

Meanwhile, Sungje danced to the tune of girl group songs, Push Push by Sistar and Madonna by Secret that drew laughter to the show.

Davichi’s Kang Minkyung and Supernova’s Kim Sungje had attracted attention due to their almost looks alike features that they almost looks like siblings. Their white skin and sharp noses that caught the attention.

Minkyung posted some pictures that showed her natural looks and porcelain skin.
