Continuing on with their promotions, the boys of The Boss who can also be referred to as D-NA performed their song 'No One... Anyone' on Music Bank. With a darker and different concept than the one they debuted with, these boys are successfully showing their manly sides. Earlier, they were promoting 'Stumble
Stumble' which makes this song their follow up track.

Here's their performance:

D-NA. the youngest male idol with average age of 17.4 debuted with 'Admiring Boy'.

They are currently promoting their follow-up song 'No One...Anyone' after their title song 'Stumble Stumble'. They said, "We're going to throw away our cute young boy image."

Mika added, "Our image before was only cute, but now in 'Stumble Stumble', we're more manly. We're slightly going to a rebel image. With a fierce choreography too."

Hyunmin explained, "Our song 'No One...Anyone' will reveal the outward changes from boys to men." Jay also explained, "We're going to express our feelings with expression and finger moving, instead of some fierce moves. We worked so hard for the expression and choreography. D-NA is catching some attention because of their chair choreography from Junjin and Lee Minwoo (Shinhwa).

Karam explained, "We worked so hard to express our feeling for 'No One...Anyone'. A feeling of being abandoned, and being alone." and Mika added, "It's a song that will show our harmonization as much as our own vocal ability."

They are growing through songs and practices but some external growth from the environment are clear. They debuted as a rookie but after days, some new people in entertainment world called them 'Senior'.

Jay said, "Sometimes some people in the waiting room called us 'senior'. We were surprised and feeling some responsibility hearing that. We're still awkward but I think we still have to work even harder to show some power in stage."

Especially those young juniors who just debuted. D-NA has an extraordinary feeling of that. Karam said something regarding some singers who started their activities in young age, "I'm being a guest now at 'Starry Night' as a consultant for friends in their 10s. They could say this and that because they have to start their social life way faster than their friends. But I think they're gaining more than what they lost." But contrary Mika said, "They can't go to their graduation trip, and it's the truth that they can't make many memories in school. But since they have a goal in this path, it's a normal thing if they wanted to give up or feeling some shame."

Some positive points that they could gain is being close with some seniors. "If there's a chance, Injoon always listen to some idols stories, like U-kiss or ZE:A. About their way of practice, company operation, or working methods. Those exchanges could be an influence for us, and in fact it's helping us."

After 7 months of their debut, D-NA is growing slowly from boys to men. The process might be not sweet, but those internal and external changes that they stacked together could offers better music and stage for everyone else.

Korean idols The Boss will be returning to the local music scene this week to promote a second song from their mini-album "Awake," according to their agency Open-World Entertainment on Monday.

The boys will kick off their promotional activities by taking to the stage of KBS' televised music program "Music Bank" on August 6, Open-World announced in a press release.

"Nobody," about a man who cuts off everyone from his life after being betrayed by his lover and friend, features strong synth pop beats and a powerful dance sequence which was choreographed by the help of Shinhwa boy band members Jun Jin and Lee Min-woo.

"The boys were greatly inspired after receiving dance tips from Jun Jin and Min-ho. They are practicing very hard and have come up with the perfect performance to match the song," an official from Open-World explained.

The Boss (The Boys of Super Space), composed of members Hyun-min, Injun, Jay, Karam and Mika, made their debut in March 2010 with the single album "The Admirer."

They released their first mini-album "Awake" in mid-June, featuring seven songs including the title track "Staggering."

[Sports Chosun T-News Reporter Baek Jieun]
The 5 soft boys who bashfully confessed their love by saying "I have admired you" are now thumping their chests and saying "Because I am a man". The ones who wore pastel toned costumes and showed clear, shining eyes, the ones who showed a blinding eye smile have now disappeared. The only remains are of a rebel in the stages of strong winds and rough seas. Besides Karam who could not take part in the interview due to other schedules, the four members Hyunmin, Injun, Mika and Jay said that "Even just before the showcase, we kept on readjusting the choreography and really prepared it as best as we could. It was to the point where we were practicing through every night" and that for the transformation, they revealed their stories of 'bitter tasting petty examples'.

- DGNA the best rebel is?

Matching to their title song 'Stumble Stumble', DGNA has transformed into rebels during puberty where they're slowly understanding the reality of the world and having so many things they want to do but being frustrated because they don't have skills to do it. If that is the case, who is the best rebel in the group? The members all came together and pointed out Jay. They said that the 17* year old has become more sharp to his hyungs*. However they showed they're understanding as they said "isn't this a normal thing for puberty?". Injun said that "Jay has very good manners. Even if he does more work than his hyungs, he doesn't show any hatred to that and genuinely doesn't hate it" and proudly showed off his persistent brotherly love.

To carry out the new concept, the members concentrated on a blood shedding effort. This is because the choreography, the song and the style had changed 180 degrees. Beginning from bleaching his eyebrows, Hyunmin had bleached his hair 13 times and had exercised a lot. He said that "because I have a lean physique, I had to make my body through health to give that manly feeling. I eat a lot so I had gained 8kg but in the 2 weeks after our comeback, I lost those 8kg". Because the choreography is so extreme, even if you eat, you lose weight. Along with the extreme choreography and the large accessories, it is easy to get injured as well. Hyunmin said that "if you get too excited while dancing, the body starts to hurt" and that "I wear a studded bracelet and there is a part where I hit my chest with my fist. Subconsciously I began to get excited so I hammered my chest but because of the bracelet, my clothes ripped". As was expected, Mika said that "I wear a fairly large necklace and whenever I jump during the choreography, the necklace deals a heavy blow in the stomach. The bruises are accumulating at the moment".

- Overseas fans, didn't know they existed but caused near tears

After 'Admiring Boy', they had a bit of a relaxation period while starting their overseas activities. Concentrating mainly on Asian countries such as Thailand, China and Japan, they commenced showcases. Due to starting overseas promotions soon after their debut, they did not know that they had fans and definitely weren't expecting any. However, as the fans came to greet them at the airport and cheered them on, they were touched. It was to the point where some very loyal fans had already determined their lodgings and were following them around. Their popularity is especially hot in Japan. Naturally, they were all trying to memorize the member's names, and it was to the point where at the showcase, they were able to notice that Hyunmin's throat condition wasn't very good. If that is so, what is the secret to DGNA's popularity? Injun explained that "at the showcase in Japan, we sang a mixture of Shinhwa songs, our songs, and Japanese songs. I think they looked at us highly because we tried to sing and dance live".

Posted Image

DGNA will be facing their debut in Japan in September. Because they need to know and recognize the basics of the language to promote there, they study for 2 hours in the morning, have a revision session in the afternoon and watch dramas and movies to learn Japanese. Of them, the one who shows the most skills is Karam. Mika said that "Out of all of us, Karam is the best at Japanese. During the showcase in Japan, we lost our room key but after Karam explained in Japanese, they gave us the key. I'm not the type to rely on Karam but he looked very cool".

- DBSK no.2?

Ever since their debut, words like 'they are very similar to DBSK' were commonly said about them. It was the fact that they're debut song 'Admiring Boy' had a similar feeling to DBSK's debut song 'Hug'. There are now people saying that the order of being soft at the beginning changing to a strong feeling is also very similar. Also, the name 'DBSK no.2' had stuck to them as they announced their intentions to promote in Japan. About this, DGNA said that "DBSK is our senior who we have always respected. We nursed our dreams of being a singer through them and we still have lots to learn by watching them". However, they didn't forget to ask "we would like it if we were viewed as DGNA".

Posted Image

In reality, the 5 members all have their own colours*. If you listen to their speciality of singing in acapella, you can feel all the more of their own attractiveness. Karam with his sweet, beautiful voice, Hyunmin with his husky voice, Jay with his fresh feeling, Injun with his strong sounds, and with Mika who has a refreshing singing ability. Their colours fit so well that they make a perfect harmony.

DGNA says that "we think that us meeting like this is fate. We want to become a long-run group where for the next 20 years, even if we have our own future families ,we can meet up as family and go camping and stay closely, and become a group where we can stand together on stage".

Posted Image

DGNA is currently promoting their song 'Stumble Stumble'. ''Stumble Stumble' shows the member's powerful choreography, styling and singing abilities with its unique sound and polished melody with it being in the electronic pop genre. They said that "we want to be known to the point where as soon as you look, you know its DGNA. In perfect harmony, we will try our best to get DGNA's own atmosphere and colours to be known" and showed their determination.

TRANSLATOR'S NOTES:
* for those who aren't aware of the Korean way of counting age, as soon as your born, your seen as 1 years old so in Korea, he is 17 while somewhere else for e.g. America or Australia, he is 16.

*hyung is what a younger guy would call an older guy if they're close.
* it doesn't realli have anything to do with the boys but i just wanted to point out that for those who don't know, where i come from (Australia), there is a 'u' in 'colours'. i kno that most of you would use the American way of writing 'colours' which would be 'color'. Just pointing it out

D-NA has recently revealed on T-News that they are "officially beginning the challenge of variety programs". Injun has participated in the recording of MBC's 'Quiz that Changes the World' (AKA. Sebakwi). He confesses that not too long ago, he met Lee Gyungshil noonim* at the shop and had resulted in becoming very timid at her force.

As was expected, Mika said that "We go to the same shop as Lee Gyungshil noonim. I was tired because the day before, we had a packed schedule so I was sleeping and had no idea that she had come. But then suddenly the members started greeting her. She really has force".

Injun said that "At first, I didn't know that it was her but when I looked closer it was Lee Gyungshil noonim. I quickly went to her to greet her. But of all places, it was in front of the toilet" and laughed. Continuing, "I greeted her while tensed up but she received it so pleasantly. She was so cool". Also, "She could've been like 'Oh. Okay' and just left but Lee Gyungshil noonim asked me again, 'Who did you say you were?' I have plans to greet her again before 'Sebakwi's' recording" and explained that "I'd like it if she looked at us nicely".

D-NA's Injun and Jay have plans to reveal their variety skills and wit that have been hidden until to now at the recording of 'Sebakwi' on the 9th.

D-NA is currently actively performing their title song 'Stumble Stumble'.

Translator's note: *Noonim is the polite way of saying noona which is what a younger guy would call an older girl.
