Singer Kim Tae Woo recently confessed to secretly turned down a 6 billion won contract offer during his days as a member of g.o.d.

On the November 23rd episode of SBS ‘GO Show’, Kim Tae Woo revealed, “When moving on from the 5th album to the 6th in g.o.d, all of the members’ management contracts were about to expire. Thus, all of the members were deeply thinking about whether they were going to stay with Park Jin Young or not.”

At that time, Kim Tae Woo revealed that he received an incredible offer through his father. He continued, “I was going to tell it to the other members, but Danny and Kye Sang already signed the management contract with the original agency, and Jun Hyung and Ho Young signed with Park Jin Young. Thus, I couldn’t even mention about it.”

He also revealed that he recently met with the members and confessed for the first time that he had received such an offer. When he was asked who showed the most anger, Kim Tae Woo replied, “It was Ho Young.” He added, “He yelled at me for not telling it to him, and Kye Sang said that he will kill me.”

This marks the first time that all five of them have been together publicly since they disbanded 8 years ago.

A rep of Yoon Kye Sang shared, “The other members of g.o.d. gave a different response after tasting the food Yoon Gye Sang had prepared. The atmosphere was bright as they joked with one another. They also shed tears as they opened up about past misunderstandings and rumors.”

Former g.o.d member Son Ho Young entertained at a fan meet in Japan on July 22, making his way to the island nation some 10 months since his last fan meet there.

The showcase “With Band Live in Tokyo,” recruited the help of a live band as Son Ho Young sang an array of hits from “Crying” to “My Heart in Heaven.” There were back dancers as well, and a piano recital by none other than the ’90s boy band member himself.

After crooning away, Son Ho Young admitted, “I never used to enjoy singing sad songs but they’re really growing on me. Maybe it’s because I’m growing old.” To liven the mood after the ballads, he also sang a medley of summer-themed songs as well as “Core N’grato” which he sang on the singing-survival show “Opera Star.”

The 32-year-old also apologized for being away for such a long time. “I’m so sorry that I can’t come back more often, but I promise to keep it fresh like a newbie, and to keep striving.”

When the festivities came to an end, Son Ho Young told the press gathered for a conference that he wasn’t quite ready to go home. “It’s a shame that is must come to an end,” said Son. “I wish I had more than just one day here.”
