Girls’ Generation members dazzled on the red carpet for SBS “Gayo Daejun” on December 29th.
The members’ flowing gowns commanded everyone’s attention as they posed for a brief photo shoot before the awards show. Though most of the members had long dresses that showcased their elegant style, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon stood out with their skirts that gave off a more playful vibe while still retaining the group’s elegance.

On the 29th of December, Super Junior fans or simply ELF were disappointed when they knew that SJ's company, SM Entertainment didn't informed fans about the pre-recording of Super Junior for the 2011 SBS Gayo Daejun and because of that, there weren't ELF to support the boys.

After the event, the members headed to their Twitter accounts and immediately apologized for what happened.

Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk tweeted "This ain't right... They must put up notices first, no? I'll apologize behalf of them."

The members followed Leeteuk's tweet.

Donghae feel sorry and said "Sorry, ELF.."

Member Eunhyuk also expresses his feelings by tweeting "Without ELF, this year-end is nothing... really frustrated!!!!!! Eat food, eat twice." Eunhyuk's tweet has been retweeted by Donghae, Leeteuk and Siwon, who added "Eat thrice~ ^^" and "Keep on Eating"

However, Siwon followed others' tweets.


The members and also the fans are really disappointed for what happened.

Pledis Boys will have a special joint stage with fellow label-mate After School for a "Club Shuffle Dance" Stage and will turn into Clubbers for SBS Gayo Daejun

*Note that Pledis did the same with After School as After School did a special stage with Dambi in SBS Gayo daejun and looks like 
they are doing the same with the boys.

After impressing viewers with her professionalism, beauty and poise as one of three MCs for the KBS Entertainment Awards held on December 24th, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona will next be participating as an MC in this year’s Gayo Daejun on SBS. She will be hosting alongside actress Song Ji Hyo and singer Lee Seung Gi. The show will feature a special ballad stage, a performance by several divas, and a charismatic dance battle with many male groups.
With Tiffany and Yuri also hosting MBC’s Music Core, members of Girls’ Generation are proving to be invaluable as MCs for various music and awards shows. In addition, several members are also set to appear in dramas in 2012, showing that Girls’ Generation is in demand in all areas of the entertainment industry.
This year’s Gayo Daejun on SBS will be held on December 29th.

Following the announcement of MBC's lineup for its year-end festival, SBS has revealed the confirmed lineup for their upcoming "2011 Korean Music Festival" (Gayo Daejun).

The event, which will take place on December 29th at the KINTEX in Ilsan, will be participated with many of the most popular K-Pop idols including Super Junior, Girls' Generation, TVXQ, Wonder Girls, B2ST, 4minute, f(x), G.NA, U-Kiss, INFINITE, A Pink, KARA, CNBLUE, T-ara, IU, Lee Seunggi, Kim Hyun Joong, Brown Eyed Girls, Teen Top and Dal Shabet.

SBS is also planning to hold various special stages. An official revealed, "We are preparing for a 'Hallyu' concept stage for the festival, so expect many artists' joint stages during the show."

However, the official MCs for the show has not been confirmed yet since Super Junior's Heechul, who has been one of the main MC for the event for last 2 years, has entered the military and currently serving his country as a public personnel.

The maknaes of popular idol groups gathered in one place to deliver splendid performances.
On 2010 SBS Gayo Daejun which took place on December 29th starting from 9.55pm KST at Ilsan Kintex, SNSD‘s maknae Seohyun along with MBLAQ’s Mir, After School’s Lizzy, 2PM’s Chansung, SHINee’s Taemin, Kara’s Kang Jiyoung and f(x)’s Sulli performed Britney Spear’s ‘Circus’.
Seohyun awed the crowd and netizens with her glamorous appearance when she ‘descended’ onto the stage like a Goddess dressed in gold with purple silk cloth tied around her waist, which acted as wings when she raised her arms.

Korean idols and veteran singers have come together to share the stage during SBS' "Gayo Daejun," performing some of the biggest songs from the past and the hits from this year. 

Super Junior’s Heechul, CNBLUE’s Jung Yong-hwa, 2AM’s Jo Kwon and actress Hwang Jung-eum hosted this year’s music festival, held at Ilsan Kintex on December 29, which kicked off with a performance from children, singing and dancing to the latest songs by Super Junior, miss A, Kara, SHINee, Son Dambi, 2PM, Girls' Generation and CNBLUE. 

The show continued on with powerful dance numbers by idol groups Teen Top, ZE:A, miss A and Sistar with joint performances by rocker Kim Jong-seo and boy band FTIsland, veteran singer Kim Gun-mo and girl group 2NE1, who took the stage for a medley of past hit songs.

The other group performances featured trot singers Jang Yoon-jeong, Hong Jin-young and Park Hyun-bin joined on stage by hip hop artists Supreme Team and Tiger JK, while idols groups MBLAQ, 4minute, T-ara and BEAST displayed couples performances. 

SBS' "Gayo Daejun" wrapped up with finales from Super Junior, Big Bang member G-Dragon and T.O.P, Girls' Generation and Kara.
