Dae Guk Nam Ah, holding their first mini-concert on the 11th…Shinhwa's stage replayed

5-member boy group Dae Guk Nam Ah's fanmeeting and mini-concert will be

held simultaneously this year.

Dae Guk Nam Ah will, on the 11th of this month at 5pm, meet fans at Seoul's Soweol Art Hall in Haengdang-dong.

The arrangement of the mini-concert in this event will include all member's solo stages, duet stages, playing instruments etc., presenting a visage which has not been shown on programs.

Fully supported by military servicemen Shinhwa, Dae Guk Nam Ah is expected to rekindle on stage the image of Shinhwa during the time when they were active.

Dae Guk Nam Ah said "To hold the mini-concert and fanmeeting at the same time, we prepared a wide range of things. Because we prepared a full public performance we hope the fans won't be let down." Expectations have been raised.

Dae Guk Nam Ah debuted in March this year as the nation's youngest boy group.

The Boss' Karam has revealed his interest and experience in mixed martial arts (known as K-1, originated in Japan).

When Karam met with Sports Chosun, he said "Truthfully for 6 months I have done K-1. I have a side that enjoys sports".

When asked about his skills he answered "Actually I'm not exceptionally skilled. It took 3 months to grasp the form, and another 3 months to perfect the punches".

Honestly, Karam has a pretty-boy appearance comparable to T-ara's Boram and DBSK's Hero Jaejoong. From his appearance, it's hard to believe that he has a manly side which enjoys exercise. He answered "Originally I like sports. In addition to mixed martial arts, I have been active as a soccer player at school."

His friend added "Even though Karam might look like a pretty-boy, he has a very masculine personality. Anyone who sees can tell he has a manly style."

The Boss is currently in the middle of 'Nobody, Anybody' promotions. Upcoming in the middle of this month is their advance to Japan.

T/N: Read about K-1 here. It sounds painful and dangerous :D

D-NA. the youngest male idol with average age of 17.4 debuted with 'Admiring Boy'.

They are currently promoting their follow-up song 'No One...Anyone' after their title song 'Stumble Stumble'. They said, "We're going to throw away our cute young boy image."

Mika added, "Our image before was only cute, but now in 'Stumble Stumble', we're more manly. We're slightly going to a rebel image. With a fierce choreography too."

Hyunmin explained, "Our song 'No One...Anyone' will reveal the outward changes from boys to men." Jay also explained, "We're going to express our feelings with expression and finger moving, instead of some fierce moves. We worked so hard for the expression and choreography. D-NA is catching some attention because of their chair choreography from Junjin and Lee Minwoo (Shinhwa).

Karam explained, "We worked so hard to express our feeling for 'No One...Anyone'. A feeling of being abandoned, and being alone." and Mika added, "It's a song that will show our harmonization as much as our own vocal ability."

They are growing through songs and practices but some external growth from the environment are clear. They debuted as a rookie but after days, some new people in entertainment world called them 'Senior'.

Posted Image

Jay said, "Sometimes some people in the waiting room called us 'senior'. We were surprised and feeling some responsibility hearing that. We're still awkward but I think we still have to work even harder to show some power in stage."

Especially those young juniors who just debuted. D-NA has an extraordinary feeling of that. Karam said something regarding some singers who started their activities in young age, "I'm being a guest now at 'Starry Night' as a consultant for friends in their 10s. They could say this and that because they have to start their social life way faster than their friends. But I think they're gaining more than what they lost." But contrary Mika said, "They can't go to their graduation trip, and it's the truth that they can't make many memories in school. But since they have a goal in this path, it's a normal thing if they wanted to give up or feeling some shame."

Some positive points that they could gain is being close with some seniors. "If there's a chance, Injoon always listen to some idols stories, like U-kiss or ZE:A. About their way of practice, company operation, or working methods. Those exchanges could be an influence for us, and in fact it's helping us."

After 7 months of their debut, D-NA is growing slowly from boys to men. The process might be not sweet, but those internal and external changes that they stacked together could offers better music and stage for everyone else.

The Boss' Karam transforms into a counselor.

MBC Starry Night segment 1030 counseling will soon be welcoming Karam in league with IU to give opinions to the listeners. Karam, H-Eugene and Gil Hak Mi will be hosting the segment by providing counseling to listeners who are 10-40 years old.

'Starry Night' PD, Lee Dae Ho said, "The reason why we chose Karam is because he started training since high school, and aspiring to be a singer, he will understand the minds of the teenagers better."

Karam replied, "There are many things that the teenagers didn't expect to be coming, and i will pay attention to it carefully, and try my best to be their listeners"

That means we will get to listen to his voice on starry night too

Please Take Out With Full Credit

On the "Thanks to" portion of D-NA's "Awake" mini-album, one of the members, Karam, wrote:

D-NA’s first mini album..
Because it’s an album that’s full of hard-work
Please give us much love
To someone who’s making me walk this way [as a singer]
I respect senior Jung Yunho
I’m a little boy for my father and mother
But I will work harder to be a great kid
Please stay tuned. I love you

This is probably the third time Karam spoke about leader-shi. And yes, there are a lot who dislike them because they keep mentioning our boys and would seem like a strategy to get the attention of the K-pop world. But, honestly...I really think these kids are just simply fanboys of TVXQ. The way they talk about them is more like our boys are their inspiration and role model. So, please, no bashing.
