Singer-turned-actress Nam Gyuri became the newest member of management company, Namoo Actors.

Namoo Actors announced that Nam Gyuri has signed an exclusive contract with the company. “We made a partnership with Nam Gyuri based on the trust we have in her potential. Her passion for acting is bigger than that of any others. We will show our endless support for her so that she can continue to pursue a successful acting career.”

Nam Gyuri is joining some of the big names in the entertainment world including actress Moon Geun Young, Han Hye Jin and Yoo Jun Sang.

In addition, Nam Gyuri already secured herself a role as Soo Min, who devotes herself in revenge for her love, in the upcoming jTBC drama, ‘Heartless City’.

After kicking off the year with a “Good Start”, talented hip hop artist Verbal Jint has returned with some old school jam.

On February 21, Verbal Jint released his latest single “If It Ain’t Love” featuring the lovely vocals of Ailee. The music video for the track gives an old school 1950′s vibe and features fellow Brand New Music artist, Nam Gyuri, standing on stage with Verbal Jint.

After kicking off the year with a “Good Start”, talented hip hop artist Verbal Jint will be making his return with new single “If it ain’t love”.

On February 19th, a video teaser for “If it ain’t love” has been revealed through Brand New Music’s official Youtube channel. Interestingly, the teaser left fans buzzing with excitement as it featured Nam Gyuri as a R&B singer from 1970~80s, which was revealed by the agency earlier, suggesting possibility of a music collaboration between the two artists.

“If it ain’t love” will be released on February 21st.

Nam Gyuri hyped up the fans by dropping hints at a possible music comeback.

The singer-turned-actress, who was previously the leader of the original girl group SeeYa, has concentrated on her acting career for the past years. She left her fans buzzing with excitement with hints at a possible comeback to the music industry.

Brand New Music uploaded a couple of photos of Nam Gyuri on their official Twitter, wearing makeup of a R&B singer from 1970~80s. The actress herself also posted on her Twitter, “I’ve always been a huge fan of Naul. I delivered him a cake. Thank you for amazing songs, and I will wish for even better music.”

Attached the post was a photo showing Nam Gyuri posing with Naul, suggesting possibility of a music collaboration between the two artists.

LEDApple and Nam Gyuri have released the first OST album for new KBS drama “Haeundae Lovers” on August 7th. The singers showcase their charming vocals in new tracks “Smile Again” and “Haeundae Lovers”.

LEDApple’s “Smile Again” is an upbeat song and was composed by Pyo Gun Soo while Nam Gyuri’s “Haeundae Lovers” was written by famous composer Minuki.

The new drama “Haeundae Lovers” is a romantic comedy happening in Haeundae, Busan, where an elite prosecutor Lee Tae Sung (Kim Kang Woo) who lost his memory meets a daughter of former gangster Go So Ra (Jo Yeo Jung). The casts include Kim Kang Woo, Jo Yeo Jeong, T-ara’s Soyeon, Jeong Seok Won, Nam Gyuri and other supporting actresses and actors.

Songstress Nam Gyuri returned with the KBS2 one-act special drama, ‘A Killer Barber’ for the first time in a year.

Nam Gyuri acted out the unfortunate woman with a story and showed cheerfulness as well as pain. In the scene where she eats food she made with Woojin and his friends, she captured the audience with her realistic yet adorable acting.

She spoke about why she married Myeong Chul after having a few drinks at dinner time. She claimed she wanted to die a day earlier to get out of this misery.

Netizens claim it was good seeing her on TV and that she did a good job.

‘A Killer Barber’ is about Hwang Mija (Nam Gyuri) asking killer Woojin (Park Seong Woong) to kill her loan shark husband Myeong Chul (Lee Cheol Min). The cast includes Nam Gyuri, Jo Dal Hwan, Park Seung Kyung and others and is produced by Lee Jung-seob .

Actress Nam Gyuri and actor Jo Dal Hwan took some friendly photos from the set of the upcoming KBS 2TV one-act drama, ‘A Killer Barber’.

‘A Killer Barber’ is about Hwang Mija (Nam Gyuri) not being able to stand her loan shark husband (Lee Cheol Min) who won’t leave her alone, living with previous killer and current barber Woojin (Park Seong Woong). Jo Dal Hwan is Woojin’s partner Cheol Soo.

In the revealed photos, Nam Gyuri and Jo Dal Hwan are making their V-sign poses while waiting for the shoot. Dressed in their drama characters, the two stars look like brother and sister as they show a warm atmosphere.

Helmed by director Lee Jeong Sub of “Bread, Love and Dreams” and “Glory Jane”, the new drama “A Killer Barber” will be aired on July 22nd.

Singer-turned-actress Nam Gyuri has revealed a sneak peek of her upcoming one-act KBS drama, “A Killer Barber”.

On July 17th, Eyagi Entertainment released several still cuts of Nam Gyuri. In the photos, the actress can be seen studying her script, resting, and waiting for the cue while trying to keep her focus on her character named Mija.

Nam Gyuri will play the female lead Mija, and the opposite of Park Sung Woong in the drama about a woman who tries to flee a loan shark by going into hiding at the house of an assassin posing as a barber.

Helmed by director Lee Jeong Sub of “Bread, Love and Dreams” and “Glory Jane”, the new drama “A Killer Barber” will be aired on July 22nd.

Singer-turned-actress Nam Gyuri will return to television in the KBS special “Butcher Barber.”

Nam Gyuri will star alongside Park Sung Woong in the drama about a woman who tries to flee a loan shark by going into hiding at the house of an assassin posing as a barber. The actress will play the female lead, Mija, while Park will play the barber in the special feature to be broadcast on July 22.

“The atmosphere on the set is so much fun,” Nam Gyuri said. “I’m taking in every little detail about the character in order to play the role of Mjia to perfection.”

Other actors in the drama include Cho Dal Hwan, Choi Seung Kyung and Lee Chul Min.

As soon as filming for the one-day program ends, the 27-year-old star will start shooting for the full-length drama “Haeundae Lovers,” which will debut on August 13 on KBS.

“That Man” is also been used as the insert song in SBS drama series “Fashion King“.

The drama’s PR representative reported that those who worked with the star are expecting big things from the Hallyu actress. As the show’s air date draws near, other Chinese networks have been jockeying to secure Nam Gyuri in their programs.

Singer actress Nam Gyuri confessed in SBS "TV News at Night" last night that she did underwent plastic surgery in just one or two places but not everywhere. She even mentioned that she placed 2nd in 'the star with the most shocking past' and expressed her disappointment towards the TV News at Night.

She even brought her old photos and stated that after the broadcast there are lot of talks about her undergoing surgery. She emphasized that she's still similar.

She also confessed that day the she dated a star when she's still a singer.
