Key takes a friendly yet cool photo with Sistar's Soyu and INFINITE Woohyun.

The photo was taken in Thailand where their groups performed in Korean Music Wave. He wrote, "wuss up friends".

In the photo, the three are posing which appeared to be like of those in pictorial. Fans expressed their excitement seeing the three idols together in one photo. They commented, "Idol friends are so fun to watch.","Glad to see them together!" and so on.

Miss A Min's takes picture with fellow idols  FT Island's Jaejin, INFINITE's Woohyun, SHINee's Key and SISTAR Soyu.. The photo was taken from Thailand wherein Kpop groups performed for Korean Music Wave.

Min wrote, "Thailand backstage!".

Fans notice that idols on the photo are 91-liners, except Soyu who is  90-liner. Are they going to make a group of 91-liners? Fans left comments like ,"It's very rare to see them together like this. Thank you Min!","Wow 91-liners! Fighting!" and so on.

Woohyun displays special and unique singing skills in the recent episode of MBC Magic Concert. After inhaling the air (helium) from a balloon, he sings 'Special Girl' in a cute and funny voice  which make the guests giggle.

INFINITE’s Woohyun has collaborated with female indie artist Lucia and released their duet track titled, “Cactus” online on February 27th. The full music video for the track was recently released by Loen Entertainment.

“Cactus” MV is directed by Jo Gyungil. It looks like a short movie by telling a story of a man trying to leave and a woman who’s been hurt. With split screen effects, it delivers their story respectively and explains the emotional lyrics effectively.

The single “Cactus” is the second project from ‘Re:Code’ which is being planned and produced by Loen Entertainment. It features the collaboration between skillful underground artists and popular artists.

FC One, the celebrity soccer club that many stars such as Seo Ji Seok, Uhm Gi Joon, and Lee Jong Seok belong to, has made donations to promote soccer among young people. With Lee Sae Joon as the club’s captain and Seo Ji Seok as vice-captain, FC One was founded in 2012. The club has 30 members, including Ahn Nae Sang, Park Gi Woong, Lee Jong Seok, Uhm Gi Joon, Cho Han Seon, Super Junior’s Yesung, Heo Young Saeng, Big Bang’s Seungri, B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang, Infinite’s Woo Hyun, ZE:A’s Dong Joon, Jang Woo Hyuk, U Kiss’ Dong Ho, and Kim Jong Moon.

FC One is more than just a club for people who love soccer and want to share their common interest. It also contributes to the development of soccer among young people. The club recently made a donation to a youth soccer team in Guri.

About the recent donation, Seo Ji Seok, the vice-captain of FC One, said, “We get together not only to enjoy soccer but also to contribute in the development of Korean soccer. All the members of FC One feel honored to do what we love and help others with what we have. We will try harder in every way to be helpful in the further development of soccer in Korea.”

On December 7th, in the afternoon, LOEN Entertainment and MBC Plus Media who are holding the ‘2012 Melon Music Awards’ revealed “The four people: Nam Woohyun, Moon Heejun, Danny Ahn and Lee Kikwang are our final choices for the ‘2012 Melon Music Awards”s joint MCs”.

For that reason, from H.O.T.’s Moon Heejun and GOD’s Danny Ahn who dominated the 90’s,  to Infinite’s Nam Woohyun and BEAST’s Lee Kikwang who currently have the best popularity are the members of the new and old male idol groups each representing their own generation to confront their hosting at the ‘2012 Melon Music Awards’ so the fans’ expectations are rising.

Moon Heejun and Danny Ahn are 1st generation idols from the 90’s who have busy activities until lately through variety and broadcasts while Lee Kikwang and Nam Woohyun debuted in the 2000’s and are currently idols members who are receiving a lot of love. Each of them are all-rounded entertainers who combine being representative idol singers and even MC experiences.

It has been announced that B2ST‘s Kikwang, INFINITE‘s Woohyun, Moon Hee Jun, and Danny Ahn have been appointed as MCs to host the ‘2012 Melon Music Awards‘!

LOEN Entertainment and MBC Plus Media confirmed on the 7th, “A total of 4 celebrities including B2ST’s Kikwang, INFINITE’s Woohyun, Moon Hee Jun, and Danny Ahn have been chosen as MCs for the ’2012 Melon Music Awards’.”

The ’2012 Melon Music Awards’ will be held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on the 14th!

Idol group Infinite’s Woohyun has been getting a lot of attention lately as he has revealed that he will forever be acting charmingly to fans.

Recently Woohyun had an interview with a fashion magazine and talked about his charming acts.

To a quesion that asked “Is your charmingly acts shown on broadcasts just for fan service” he replied with “I have the confidence to act charmingly forever to inspirits”.

Also, Infinite members were asked what kind of gestures would you like to show on a free stage. Hoya replied with “sexy gestures”, Sungyeol “sincere hand kiss”, L “looking eye-to-eye with every fan” which showed their love for their fans.

Along with the interview during the photoshoot for the magazine, Infinite showed a free concept with an attractive appeal which was much different to their charisma on stage. They also displayed a bright atmosphere with their playfulness and talk.

Infinite’s Nam Woohyun revealed his determination about his first acting challenge.

On the 14th, at Gyunggido Ilsan MBC Dream Center, where the production report conference of MBC’s new sitcom ‘The Thousandth Man’ was taking place, Nam Woohyun attended and gave his impressions and showed his determination about challenging acting.

Nam Woohyun gave his impressions about participating in this sitcom, “This is my first acting challenge. At the university, I learnt a bit how to act in a play, but acting in a drama is said to be a bit different. However, my role in the drama is similar to my original personality so it’s easy relate to it.”

Nam Woohyun added, showing his determination, “There could be prejudices since I’m an idol acting, but the best way to break that is to work hard and immerse myself in acting.”

In the sitcom, Woohyun plays the role of the younger man Woohyun who’s in love with the nine-tailed fox (played by Hyomin).


Nam Woohyun (21), from the group Infinite, showed confidence in the viewers ratings of MBC’s sitcom , which is his first acting challenge.

At the production report conference of the sitcom, Nam Woohyun was asked about the viewers ratings, to which he replied, showing his big wish, “Infinite is a performance group. Infinite shows a 99.9% synchronized dance, so I hope that the viewers ratings will be as good.”

Nam Woohyun added, “I’m working with the best production crew and actors. It’s a drama, but since there’s a lot of elements that are in movies, I expect it (the viewers ratings) to be that high.”

Kang Yewon, Lee Cheonhee, Seo Kyunseok, Jeon Miseon, Park Junghak, Hyomin, Woohyun, etc appear in which will air for the first time on the 17th at 9:55PM.

Infinite’s Nam Woohyun appeared as a ‘chaser’ chasing the heart of a woman 6 years older than him.

Nam Woohyun showed his struggling image to win the heart of a woman he chose by himself on the new program, claiming love variety ‘Lord of the Rings’. Even though Nam Woohyun is the youngest male member in the cast, he was the most active to show his charms to a woman 6 years older than him. Nam Woohyun said “(Ji)Sangryul, who appears as well, only has 3 years of difference with my dad” and even showed his wits calling him ‘dad’ which caused the set to burst in laughter.

We are seeing the birth of another ‘actor-dol.’

Member Woohyun of INFINITE – who is the busiest promoting in Korea and Japan – is challenging acting though MBC fantasy-sitcom ‘The Thousandth Man.’

In the sitcom ‘The Thousandth Man,’ Woohyun’s character seems cool on the outside but if you get to know him, he’s a pure and charming man. Called the ‘national younger man’ for his good looks, feisty tone, and honesty, he will target the hearts of women.

To Woohyun, ‘The Thousandth Man’ is his first major TV acting challenge. Woohyun – who majored in entertainment broadcast – is known as the next generation’s actor-dol for his skills in the 2011 musical ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’ as the female lead’s son Jiyong.

Fellow team members L and Hoya are the most nervous for Woohyun’s acting challenge. In the past, INFINITE’s representative flower boy ‘L’ acted in tvN ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band.’ ‘Dancing Machine’ Hoya is ringing in the hearts of women and rising to the top through his silent and charismatic acting in the successful tvN ‘Reply 1997,’ where he displays stable acting.

INFINITE's Woohyun is challenging acting with MBC’s Friday drama ‘The Thousandth Man’.

The role Woohyun plays in ‘The Thousandth Man’ is ‘Woohyun’ who looks cool on the outside, but is a romantic charming man once you get to know him. Good looking and outgoing, he’s going to take over women’s hearts as the ‘national younger man’ (T/N: A man dating older women) armed with his honesty.

For Woohyun, ‘The Thousandth Man’ is his first acting challenge on public broadcast. After appearing last summer in the musical “Gwanghwamun Sonata’ as the hero’s son, Jiyong, he’s receiving attention as the next generation of ‘acting-dol’.

Woohyun gave us his impressions about the first filming of ‘The Thousandth Man’: “It felt like when I went to school for the first time when I was 8. That fluttering feeling lasted until the end of the filming” and “The second filming was the same feeling as when I was going back to school. Every time I’m going there, the feeling is new. I want to show such a forthright image that it doesn’t feel like I’m acting”.

Woohyun added “The member who supported me the most is Sunggyu hyung (Kim Sunggyu). The other members also told me, “Since you’re the moodmaker in the team, that will fit the sitcom’ and ‘For the people to enjoy what they watch, the person who does it has to enjoy it as well; you have to show them that you’re doing it because you really like it’”, showing their close brotherly love.

In ‘The Thousandth Man’, the nine-tailed fox (Kang Yewon) is searching for the thousandth liver needed for her to become human, while living in other people’s bodies with her family; it’s an omnibus drama talking about how they handled the events happening to them. It will be first broadcasted on the 17th at 9:55PM.

What kind of man am I? ‘The Chaser’ VS ‘Only Tears’
I’m the kind of man to let her go if we really don’t have anything. But I make efforts of course. If the person I really love wants a really capable person, I’ll try to make efforts to match that… that’s pretty close from ‘Only Tears’.

Woohyun is excited. Lively, clear and delightful Woohyun is a part of the push-and-pull game and has the leadership to move the fans quite freely, his nickname ‘Nam-Trainer’ always follows him. That’s why this time his face is shining with honor when he got 1st place in the likeability ranking. “The fans’ likeability? Yes, I don’t really know it either. Why I got 1st place. Hahaha!” Hum. If it wasn’t for the many coarsely toothed social lives, Woohyunnie’s training can overcome it all, or it seems like it. His image is always bright and cheerful. Like a cheerful boy coming straight from a cheerful manhwa, he’s talking big saying confidently he had the confidence to be 1st place with gags too. “I’m the funniest~ haha, I think that the other members don’t have as much gag instinct as me. It’s for broadcast purpose.” As he was arguing over nothing else but this, regardless of the age subject, we thought that men’s competitive spirit was really amazing. “When we’re just between us, Sungjongie really has no aegyo at all. He’s a real man.” It’s the moment Sungjongie’s unexpected image got exposed by his rival Nam Woohyun. When this kind of human instinct that makes you smile (jealousy, competitive spirit) appeared, Woohyun’s charms doubled!

Thrilling stage. I want to feel that moment’s touching feeling once again
It was a different experience. It was a different touching feeling and thrill than when I’m standing on stage as a singer, it mixes all the aspects, it was so overwhelming I can’t express it with words. I usually have this kind of personality. I’m not innocent but, depending, no, I’m very tender, I’m a pure loving man with quite a lot of tears. I’d lose my temper even if it’s something tiny, I’m the type to be touched easily, I’m often too emotional. That’s why when I got to be in the musical, I felt like I was showing my stages of development as a singer and as a musical actor, that’s why I of course joined this piece more cheerfully than usual. I guess it was my fate to sing the song Heaven. No matter on what stage it is, I like singing. The thrilling pleasure scans down your whole body. Considering it, a musical also seems like bibimbap where acting, singing and dancing have been mixed properly to give the best result. Moreover it was an opportunity to be in sync with big seniors I couldn’t learn from as a singer, so to not miss that opportunity, I think I mastered how to become stronger and find how to overcome things by myself. And I wasn’t by myself. Because I was with trustworthy leader Sunggyu hyung, I was able to carry this heavy burden. I want to do it, continuously. A pure loving man’s wish to feel that moment’s touching feeling once again, will the opportunity come again?
